Note
Here is a new story. It's going to be quite short, about ten chapters I think, and the chapters will also be quite short, but I couldn't get it out of my head for two months until I wrote it. I'll probably post one chapter a week, but maybe some week I'll post two chapters.I hope you like it.

Chapter 9

‘’And what happened to the prophecy? ‘’

When the whole room was silent, it was Harry who asked this question. To tell the truth, Harry was quite interested in all this stuff about being an immortal god and such, but what had him most intrigued and confused was the fact that, being a horcrux, the prophecy that claimed they were enemies was contradicting reality.

If Harry was correct in his deductions, he would have to die to rid himself of Voldemort's soul, which, in turn, would kill Voldemort. Neither could live with the other dead. Luckily for Harry, here were his other selves to answer his questions.

It was the first Harry, aged eight, who answered ``Trelawney wouldn't know what a prophecy was even if it bit her in the ass. My prophecy was made up by her to get the job,'' he said as he shrugged his shoulders, as if he didn't care.

The second Harry also spoke up, ``In my case it was Dumbledore who made up the prophecy and extorts Trelawney to recite it where Voldemort's allies could hear it, but my Dumbledore is one of the worst out there, so this is a rare case''.

The seventh Harry, in his voice from beyond the grave also made his case, ``We just misunderstood the whole prophecy, but what we have in common is that it never did any good, that thing. An unbreakable vow could even nullify it, that's why Divination is bullshit’’

Harry was both pleased by the clear, rational answers that no one had ever given him, and intrigued to find out more about the seven, so he asks all sorts of questions about his possible future.

‘’Will I be happy?'' is Harry's first and most important question. So far, Harry couldn't say he's happy in his life, he lives with the Dursleys who treat him no better than a slave, his friends abandon him at every turn, he goes from hero to public enemy even faster, and the only person he could ever get close to in the future has been killed. His life sucked, so he wants to know if he would be happy marrying Voldemort and switching sides in the war.

It is the sixth Harry who answers ``Of course you will be happy, you will be free from all of Dumbledore's stupid manipulations, you will be able to do whatever you want because no one will be able to stop you, and you will have someone who will love you unconditionally, no matter how many people you kill or torture. You will be the happiest person in the world for the rest of eternity, and I'm telling you, I've lived 1226 years''.

While Harry was thinking about it, the seventh Harry comes up behind him and grabs his shoulders in an attempt to reassure him, which doesn't help much due to his skeletal hands and toothy grin, ``I've lived more years than I can count, and I haven't regretted a second of my choices''.

Not to be outdone, the eight-year-old Harry reached over and looking Harry in the eye with his tender little eyes, took his hand and spoke, ``I've lived the least, but I took the relics and became master of death at two, and Tom was always by my side. You will not regret following this path''.

As Harry is thinking about what a good idea it would be to have such a life, it is Dumbledore who interrupts their conversation ``Don't listen to them Harry! They're not right, how could you be happy marrying the man who killed your parents? They are just trying to confuse you’’

Even before he had finished speaking, Dumbledore had risen from his seat and raised his elder wand towards the sixth Harry, at whom he had sent what appeared to be a curse to bring him down. Before the curse could hit him, the Sixth Harry raised his hand and caught the curse in mid-air, which, when caught, took the shape of a marble ball five centimeters in diameter.

Seeing the sixth Harry stop his curse instantly, Dumbledore, who was about to attack the third Harry, froze, staring at the marble-shaped spell in the sixth Harry's hands. The sixth Harry, under the gaze of everyone in the Great Dining Hall, opened his palm so that everyone could see the spell, and then quickly closed it to destroy it, dropping small fragments of spell from his hand that disappeared before falling to the floor.

As everyone froze in place watching the immense power of the sixth Harry, the seventh snapped his fingers, forming the same spell that bound Voldemort to bind everyone present, preventing their mobility and forcing them to sit down, in Dumbledore's case.

Before any of the seven Harrys can make another move, it is our Harry who steps forward to stand before Dumbledore.

‘’Tell me Dumbledore, are they the ones trying to confuse me, or are you the one manipulating me for your own interests?’’
