The Slyherins gathered in Malfoys dorm . The perks of being head boy , meant he got his own common room. Perfect for nights of "Veritaserum or dare"... but tonight he wanted to cancel. The news was just too much. Though without a proper excuse , Malfoy had to force a smile through it .
"Your turn Goyal." Malfoy said.
"Actually it's your ladies turn." Crabbe pointed out.
Malfoys jaw tightened. "No, she's just watching tonight."
"Surely your fiance can make that choice for herself ." Alecto drawled
"If I say she will not be playing tonight -"
"Lucius, it's fine. I'll just stick to Veritaserum. Won't be taking dares from this lot for a while." Narcissa reassured him.
Lucius leaned over to whisper in her ear - ignoring the eye rolls of his friends.
"Is it safe ?"
"Yes. Don't worry about it." She gave him a light kiss on the lips . Reaching for the truth potion . She took a sip.
"Alright what embarrassing thing will I admit today?"
The group of Slytherins muttered amongst themselves. Coming in agreement with a question , Severus spoke , "Narcissa dearest. What currently is your deepest darkest secret."
"Shit." Lucius said under his breath.
"I'm pregnant." Narcissa said , covering her mouth after .
The room fell silent for a moment , then erupted in applause.
Severus stood up and grabbed his oldest friend up for a hug.
"Is this the reason for the wedding?" He asked .
"No you fool. I love her and that's the only reason I want her to have my last name."
Letting him go , Severus smiled . "I better be the godfather. All these other gits will leave that child clueless in life."
Lucius laughed , " Of course . There is no one else I'd rather have to guide our son than you, Severus."
"Son?! It's a boy?" The Carrows shouted in sync.
Strolling over to his fiance , he placed his hand over her stomach . "Yes, it's a boy. Would you all like to know his name?"
Everyone shouted yes.
Narcissa looked lovingly into her partner's eyes. Deciding then their sons middle name.
"Draco Lucius Malfoy."
