Chapter 12

Two years passed. Harry and Ginny had gotten married not long after Ben and Rey had their first child, a boy they named Han in honor of his dad.
Rey decided to retire from being an auror to stay at home when she found out she was expecting their second child. Ben agreed with her since it seemed that no matter how hard they worked to keep evil at bay, it still would rise.
Luke visited from time to time and brought updates on Finn. He was doing well and he even was able to leave Dagabah now. He still didn't remember Rey, which was for the best, especially since he and Rose had just gotten married.
Not long after after Rey gave birth to their daughter, Hermione and Fred got married, followed by Ron and Lavender.
Han and Leia decided to relocate to London to be close to their son and grandchildren and Leia was a huge help to Rey, especially since little Han was always on the go. From sun up to sun down, he kept Leia going. Of course big Han encouraged him.
Their daughter they named Shmi, after Ben's great grandmother. When Anakin heard the name, he smiled even though there was tears in his eyes.
Robards had retired and Harry was promoted to lead auror around the time that Ginny gave birth to their first child. James Sirius, named after his grandfather and Harry's godfather was already showing signs of being a prankster. Everytime Rey would go over to the Potter's, she had to make sure that she was on guard, not knowing what James would do.
Nothing in life was perfect, but as Rey watched Ben playing with their children, on a rare day off for him, she couldn't help but think that in this moment and time, it was.
