Regulus thinks of the Dark Mark that taints his forearm, that twists like a snake slithering on the ground, thinks of the pain and the sorrow, of the shock, because the Dark Lord has returned and he is summoning his followers. Because somewhere out there is a Death Eater meeting taking place after almost two decades of inactivity and silence and something needs to be done. _________Or when a retired war veteran realises the war is not over yet.
