Summary
When Hermione wakes up in a bed that’s not hers, she find herself stuck in a mansion with 8 other teenagers. They decide to make the best of it until disaster strikes. They must look into their selves to find a solution to this huge problem. Worst of all, Hermione finds herself falling for the wrong person.

Surprise, Surprise!

Hermione woke up in an extremely soft bed, which was very strange. Her bed was definitely not this soft, or big. Hermione remained laying down but patted around this bed, which was not, and she knew for a fact that it was not her bed.

She knew it would be rational and logical to be freaking out. But in fact, she felt very calm and at peace.

She sat up and looked around the room to find all her suitcases and such huddled in one spot by the dresser. As calm as she was before, Hermione found her heart to start racing a tad. She had no recollection of a vacation, nor had she remembered packing all her bags, or laying in this, Gods why was this bed so bloody soft, comfortable, very large bed, which was not her bed. She slowly stood up and walked very carefully, as you never know what might be awaiting near the suitcases. She observed the suitcases from a distance, and realized there was a note attached to the top of one of her luggage.

She reached towards the note and then second guessed herself and quickly pulled her hand away. She decided the safest option would be to leave it attached to the luggage and read from there.

       Dear Hermione Granger,

I understand you must be very confused on why you awoken in this unfamiliar room. We have decided you should have a very well-deserved break. So we took it upon ourselves to bring you to this lovely mansion. We hope you enjoy your time here, and please refrain from becoming to confused. We have handpicked your fellow housemates and we sincerely hope you get along. Try your best to stay healthy and happy, we know how stressful this situation must be.

Remember everything happens for a reason.

      Best regards.

If Hermione had any hope of information from that letter, it was long gone now. It left Hermione with thousands of questions. Who are these housemates? Who is we? Why in the hell must they give her "a very well-deserved break" Hermione absolutely does not need a well-deserved break. She was fine the way she was, thank you very much. And her most important question, "Remember everything happens for a reason."  What in Gods name is that supposed mean?

She let out a sigh. She has to go meet her "housemates". Well they wouldn't be housemates for long. Hermione was going to leave as soon as she could. In fact, she was leaving now.

She grabbed all her luggage and walked very steadily, not at all wobbling down the hallway, and was off to look for the front door.

After a few minutes of walking around, not lost, just merely looking around, she finally found the living area for this mansion.

She did a quick sweep to count the amount people in the room with her. 8. There was 8 other people stuck in this situation with her. They all stopped whatever conversation they were having to look at her. It was a rather large area so they were all nowhere near each other. One person stood up, and Hermione faced to observe him. He was very tall, very blonde, and exceedingly attractive.

"You're not going to find a way out." the blonde man finally spoke.

"I'm sorry?"

He pointed to her luggage. "We all tried it already."

He looked back up to her face and rolled his eyes. "Don't be so offended. It's a pretty basic idea, it's not like you had a mind blowing revelation."

Hermione could not believe the absolute audacity of this prat. "You absolute prat-"

"Calm yourself darling. Why don't you go put your bags back in your room and come sit and talk. I am willing to bet as much money as you want, that we are all in the same situation."

Hermione scoffed, "First of all, don't call me 'darling.' Second of all, how would you know what I'm going through?"

He let out an extremely dramatic sigh and said, "You woke up in this mysterious house and found a note attached to something in your room. That sound about right?"

She was stunned, how in the hell did he know?

He patted her on the shoulder. "Now, why don't you go put your bags back in your room, and regain your composure? Or do I need to hold your hand and walk you back to your room?"

"How dare-"

"Off you go." He said as he started pushing her back into the hallway she came from.

As she was walking back to the living area she heard a females voice, "Must you be so rude? I'll go with her."

Hermione absolutely did not need help so she started walking down the hallway. Just as she started walking a girl with black hair, bangs, and perfect plump red lips turned the corner.

She tilted her head and observed Hermione. She looked Hermione up and down and pursed her lips. "Hello, I'm Pansy. That was Draco, sorry about him."

Hermione stood there and stared.

"Well, are you going to introduce yourself?"

Hermione stepped back and then finally said, "I'm Hermione."

"Great, well show me to your room then."

-

After a very awkward walk to her room and back, she finally was able to sit down. About a minute or so passed in awkward silence, Pansy finally spoke up. "Well come off it, introduce yourself to her!"

A boy with shaggy, jet black hair and round, broken, glasses cleared his throat. "Right, uh I'm Harry Potter."

Harry Potter. To be quite truthful, it sounded quite familiar but Hermione had no clue who this person was.

He pushed up his glasses and gave a small smile, "I'm 17 years old, and you?"

"I'm Hermione Granger. I'm- uh also 17 years old."

He broke eye contact and cleared his throat once more, "Well, who's next?"

The group sat in silence once more until finally a new person stood up and sighed, "You lot can't do anything right can you? I'm fairly sure we are all the same age, but I am the one and only Theodore Nott."

Theodore Nott seemed very average. He had mousey brown hair, shaggy but well kept. Hermione couldn't exactly tell from the distance but his eyes seemed green with a mix of brown. Much like a forest. He was quite thin and lanky. He reminded her of a rabbit, to be frank. And his posture was, and she couldn't explain this enough, terrible. He looked at Hermione and smirked and then put a false sense of distress, "Hermione Granger was it? I can feel you judging me. Do stop, would you? My feelings are starting to get hurt."

He very suddenly turned serious, "Give me your note would you? Do you have it with you?"

"Yes, but-"

"Great, hand it over."

See, now Hermione was growing agitated. She loathed when people interrupted her. And it was happening quite a lot today. But Hermione was stuck in this situation, and she wanted answers. So she slowly removed the note from her pocket. Theodore grabbed the note from her hand, snatched it some might say, and set to reading it. He let out a sigh.

He started laughing again, "Well, since this lot hasn't the balls to introduce themselves, I have taken it upon myself to do it for them."

He didn't tell her what he sighed about, which was strange. Why would he show a sign of distress and then not explain on why the feeling came about. "Wait, Theodore why did you sigh at my note?"

" First of all, blegh don't call me Theodore. I prefer Theo. And second of all, shush shush. I'm talking now. Let me do the introductions."

He pointed to a boy on the couch, "You see him? You know the one stuffing his face with who knows what? Yeah that's Ronald Weasley."

Ronald stopped chewing and waved towards Hermione. "You can call me Ron."

He was tall, thin and gangling, with freckles, big hands and feet, and a long nose. And some very bright ginger hair.

Theodore started talking again, "Done examining him? Good, next to him is his sister. Ginevra Weasley."

"It's Ginny, for Gods sake." Ginny's brown eyes set ablaze. She looked very similar to her brother, freckles, flaming red hair, etc. "And I'm 16 a year younger."

Theodore rolled his eyes, "Irrelevant details."

He pointed to the blonde boy who Pansy said was Draco. "This asshole you had the pleasure of meeting earlier, is Draco Malfoy."

Draco scoffed, "Watch it mate. We just met."

"Awh, but look I'm already your mate." Theo laughed and blew Draco a kiss.

He gestured towards the next person, "This is Luna Lovegood."

Luna perked up and waved enthusiastically, "Hi! Pleasure to meet you! Like Ginny, I am 16 as well." She had waist-length, straggly, dirty blonde hair, protuberant silvery eyes, which seemed to be dreamily distracted, and faint eyebrows. She had an aura of "distinct dottiness" about her. She seemed very happy and at peace, which was very weird considering the current situation.

Theodore waved dramatically, "Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Last but not least." He sat down and put his arm around the last person. "This is Blaise Zabini."

Blaise grabbed Theodore's arm and slung it off of him. "You are way too comfortable with people you just met."

Theodore smiled slyly, "It's apart of my natural charm."

"Whatever, just get off of me, would you?"

"Wow, tough crowd." Theodore said as he let out a breath of exasperation. "Well, I guess we have to get straight to the point."

Hermione finally spoke up, "What's the point Theodore?"

"It's Theo. And I'm so glad you asked Hermione."

He put his elbows on his leg and rested his face into his hands. "Let's talk about the notes."
