When Harry Potter stepped foot off the Polar express he was quickly lead down to Dragon(?) Ally while Hagrid waffled on about the Hogwarts school he was being kidnapped to. He was awfully confused by the entire situation (as was I when being forced to watch it), especially when he was brought to a shop with a crazy guy and wands. he was told that he had to get a wand that only he could use or something (because plot holes) and he got one before being dragged along to a place with caged owls, and other than the overwhelming urge he had to call PETA it was a pretty cosy place. He picked one out and they left to go to the school of kidnapped and endangered teens.
Harry was informed he would be sorted into one of four homes; Griffindoor, Slithering, Hugglepuff or Ravenclaw. he ended up being Griffindoor with Hermione and Ron, two people he had met at some point. The hall echoed around them as a tall bloke shouted something mildly interesting and Harry couldn't help but wish he was back under those stairs- at least it was warm there.
