Random scenes I remember, roughly organized into a timeline.

  • Dumbledore ensnaring Fawks magically as a hatchling. (Year 2)
  • The DA storms the Ministry. Neville and the Weasley twins (at minimum) both have a fight with Death Eaters on separate floors. (Year 5)
    • Twins tag teamed a big name.
    • Neville fights Bellatrix or Nagini.
  • Harry has an encounter in the Veil Room in the Department of Mysteries with Voldemort.
  • After Dumbledore is caught overreaching, he gets a formal trial and is sentenced to something like a mind maze for his crimes, designed to last for eternity or until he feels true regret over what he’d done.
  • McGonagall keeps an eye on Fawks until she’s sure he’s old enough after his burning day and stores the ashes in a bag for him to take elsewhere.
  • Wizengamot or similar in session going over the law books for obsolete laws. Starts tedious then gets funny with things like being required to wear feathered hats on Tuesdays or whatever. Then they get to laws about slavery or something and get serious.
