Wanting to disappear off the the face of the earth

His mother finished the chapter and Harveste sighed when he noticed the glint in Poseidon’s eyes—power vibrated from him. This was going to be messy, he was sure of it.  Wizards near him sucked in their breath, not wanting to be in the middle of a fight of two gods.

Hestia glared at the both of the two gods. Hades had a fight and fight mode while Poseidon was still seated on his throne but glaring at his brother, his glare could've killed, because everything in it screams hatred and vengeance.

Do they not notice Lady Hestia sending them warning glares?

"Hades....."

Hades sweated, "Brother......"

"Okay everybody" sighed Harveste. "You guys should go at the exit and try to find a shelter"

Nearly everybody obliged.

The demigod's and legacies had their weapons out, already on a fighting stance.

The gods were on their respective weapons, they were all on edge. Athena and Ares had their shield and spear. Apollo and Artemis had their bows and arrows out. Demeter and Hera are no doubt in their fight-or-flight mode. Hermes kept cringing. While Aphrodite......

This was like Zeus accusing Poseidon and having a stare down when Zeus found out he had a daughter, but also the possible thief to Zeus’ play toy.

Poseidon suddenly stood up from his throne and went straight to Hades, wanting to impale him.

"You—!"

"Enough!" Screamed Hestia, making her family taken back. "Haven't you destroyed enough!?" She shrieked.

"Haven't you killed enough mortals!? How come we stooped so low to the point were we kill each other!? And each other's children!? Oh how the mighty have fallen!" She exclaimed.

"If you two dare to fight here, I will make a elder cyclops gnaw on every part of your body" she warned, 'calmly'.

"Now go and take things somewhere!"

--:--:--:--:--

Hades landed in the infirmary later on.

--:--:--:--:--

The gods went into a more private room later on. But thankfully they could still read the books, the private room was there so that they will avoid killing people when something they particularly didn't like in the book will happen.

"Does this happen everytime?" Asked Ron with a awed expression looking at the combined advanced technology of Agora and Wakanda. Everything was either metal and stone with engravings of runes that glow blue.

The school was apparently 500 years older than Hogwarts.

"About what? The god's fighting or the glowing runes and amazing muggle technology around ya'?"

Ron noticed many people looking at them—Harveste more like, precisely Pureblood wizards.  He scowled and scoffed, they're probably planning to take him away or something, and right here. Honestly Where's their shame and conscience. They were a little bit quiet awhile ago because the gods were present but with their absence......

Good thing they were not on the same table anymore. They were instead, sitting infront of a white board that Harveste had insisted to have because 'he didn't want to get bored after finishing chapters'. It took Ron great courage to talk to Harveste by just asking 'how does this technology work?'

Ron winced into his 'milk tea'—because Harveste called it that( a muggle drink apparently and by the gods it tasted so good), when remembering Poseidon's anger awhile ago. It made everybody's knees tremble, even the agents of 'S.H.E.I.L.D'—a muggle order version, were shaking despite being in this situation for gods knows how long.

Harveste seemed used to facing this beings that could destroy civilizations. Really, all of his family was. They seemed chill at the fact that they were reading their own stories.

Harveste was a part of 'S.H.E.I.L.D' apparently. He worked there when he was eight, because of his incredibly memory.

Ron was simply amazed by all of this, muggles were amazing at creating things—his father was right of course. He was amazed and afraid of the existence of demigods and gods at the same time, and according to the demigods this will just be the start of heart attacks. Many more will come soon.

"Um.....both...?" Ron answered idly. He watched his mother fawn over Ginny his younger sister, his mother always did. He perfectly understood at the fact that his mother just wanted a girl but then he came out. He perfectly understood that she was just disappointed.

Harveste laughed. "If your a big shot in Agora and a child of the gods, you'll have to"

"What do you mean?"

"If you're a part of a big prophecy, a Avenger, a part of the Dukedom, a big three demigod, or really powerful then you'll have to get used to many situations. And I'm all at once except the being a child of the big three, apparently"

Ron blinked and nodded solemnly. He had heard from other demigods he needed to talk to about technology, how bad it was to be a part of this family or simply the whole mythological world. There were nightmares, prophecies of you death, monsters that just won't really die and always come to get you for vengeance, gods that don't care or simply hate you for your heritage, family issues, titans, giants and whatnot. There were more and it frightened Ron by just thinking about it.

He knew the mere chapter of Percy’s POV about her finding out some things were bad but not this bad. Though he snorted when founding out that the name of Harveste's sister is Percy—the same name his brother harbors but is the total opposite of him.

And all of the people of the mythological world die young and its rare for them to survive till 18—25 that number was for legacies and Argorians. But with demigods it would start with 11 or 12 till 25, and the knowledge of gods not doing anything about this made bitterness pile on his stomach, why not? All of these people suffer from their mortals side of family but they're already suffering on the other side as well.

As far as he knows there were only a few lucky surviving demigods. There was Roxanne that survive being in the streets of America for seven long years, Luke that lived in the streets and ran away from home (a traitor—of their family and betrayed for what exactly, Ron didn't know but Harveste told him Luke had a good reason but a bad decision), Penelope—the girl with a dark pink hair color that's a thousand years old or more because she was once a hunter of Artemis apparently.

Harveste taught him about advanced muggle technology and it was all complex. He wondered how far and how many did muggles learn, especially Harveste's explanations of physics that explains magic.

Though he realized that muggles know more than wizards could about the world and outside world(Harveste told him there are many living beings outside Earth. Thor was just a fragment of them).

Harveste also told him about his experience being a young Avenger and all the Avengers he fought along with.  The said team was seated in the demigod's table, not caring about what's happening around them.

"Who's the black widow again?" Ron asked. Particularly curious about the strongest assassin known and according to Harveste there's more to her than meets the eye.

"Her real names Natasha Romanoff. She's an agent of S.H.E.I.L.D she learned many fighting styles, meaning she kicks butts"

And wow he wanted to learn more. Like reading his mind, Harveste patted his shoulder and chin-pointed to the demigod's table, where there were series of flying arrows everywhere, explosions, screaming and yelling that came from a buffed girl with sandy spiraled hair and a daughter of Athena with curly black from the tips to golden blonde hair that was box-braided(he was told that usually a child of Athena looked like a typical Californian boy or girl even though he had never seen a Californian)

"You should try to ask children of Hephaestus and Athena later on, maybe some engineers and scientists from S.H.E.I.L.D will help you if they're not too busy. Or just ask the leaders of houses in this Academy where the library is or the techno-shop is"

Ron's eyes widened, "You think I can......?" Harveste Nodded. "Duh. They'd be glad they have someone with the same interests, you should go ask my sister"

Ah. Right. The beautiful rare daughter of Poseidon, Harveste constantly say that her eyes could change colors but even with the terms of magic that can't happen.

Their attention drifted to a loud cough and it came from the speaker that was drilled into the shafts that supports the great column. He squinted his eyes, the speaker maybe small but it was as loud as a howler.

"Attention, everybody this is Roxanne Romanov please be again seated to your designated tables and chosen seats, we will continue what we chapter of the story we were reading. As for now you can seat in other tables, your allowed to do so by getting permits from cabin leaders of camp half-blood. New people will come soon. Thank you and may the force be with you"

Ron furrowed his eyebrows together. "May the force be with you?" He asked, confused when half of the muggles were snickering and repeating the last sentence while the other half rolled their eyes.

While Harveste snickered. "Is there something wrong with what Roxanne said?"

"Nah its just a muggle thing"

"Ok"

He should tell his father about this.

--:--:--:--:--

Ron sat beside Harveste not caring when some purebloods were glaring at him. He looked at where the books were and it seemed that Ma'am Jackson will read again.

"Chapter two: Three old ladies knit the socks of death"

Ron grinned that's an interesting chapter title, he noticed a few of his siblings (actually it was just his twin brothers doing so) snicker at the title.

I regret what I said when I was a child that, I wished the characters in the game I played was true

Ron tilted his head. Come.to think of it what games do muggles play?

So, I've decided that the whole campus seemed to play a sick joke on me. Calling what I just experienced as a "hallucination" would be one of my top 10 stupidest thing I decided on but I know that list will change soon.

My classmates were completely convinced Mrs. Kerr was our math teacher half the year.—

"How though?" A muggle asked. "How did you manage to gaslight a whole campus into thinking a disguised monstrosity like that didn't exist?"

"Simple" said Harveste. "Magic" he said as he wiggled his eyebrows and fingers at them.

"Funny" deadpanned the muggle.

"Well" smirked Bruce or the "Hulk", "He didn't lie" the wizards figured that Percy could do magic too.

"What?"

Sometimes I would spring a Mrs. Dodds reference, but they would stare at me like I was the only phsyco in here—

Cue snorts.

I could've almost believe that Mrs. Dodds didn't exist and that it didn't happen.

Almost.

You see my friend, Grover couldn't fool me. Cause every time I mention Mrs. Dodds,he would hesitate then claim she didn't exist. I knew he was lying.

The stolls and Hermes children looked at Grover. "You should study with us sometime"

Grover shook his head, "Na, uh"

"Yeah, duh"

Something was going on and what happened in the museum is either I wasn't suppose to see it or I'm now involved in something entirely messed up. I knew dam well that what I saw in the museum was a kindly one—

"You suspected?" Asked Peter. "Yeah" Percy breathed out, "I was for sure but still in denial"

and my best friend is involved in this and Mr Brunner is involved in this. But why am involved? What's my part in the picture?Who send that kindly one? Is it Hades or simply Satan fucking with me?

Muggles and demigods alike snorted. Though Ron didn't know who Satan was.

I wanted not to think about it in my whole lifetime, but even when I'm asleep I'd dream about her long leathery wings, razor sharp talons that nearly sliced me,her glowing red eyes and her terrible shrill after she combusted.

Everybody shuddered. Ron couldn't imagine how hard it must be for her, he still have nightmares about spiders.

The freak weather continued which didn't help my mood. One night a thunderstorm blew out the windows in my dorm room. A few days later the biggest ever hurricane that was spotted in Hudson valley touched fifty miles away from Yancy Academy.

Demigod's and legacies sighed.

I started feeling cranky and irritated all the time that my A's are turning to B's and C's.—

Ron scrunched his nose. So that's how they grade in the muggle way.

"Wow" muttered Peter and Harveste and his siblings looked at him. "If a different demigod would be in your position, it would be a lifetime of F's and D's".

Percy blushed. Ron found that she easily does.

And I easily go fight against Nancy Bobofit and her ugly friends. Last time too I called my English teacher an 'old soot'—

The demigod's laughed and some shook their heads while doing so.

"Oh Percy" Percy grinned like the idiot she was.

Miss Sally could be heard clicking her tongue in disapproval and gave Percy a reprimanding look.

and in that week, the principal sent a letter to my mom, clearly stating that I am no longer invited in Yancy Academy next year.

Fine just fine, I told myself.

I miss my mom and brother anyway.—

"Awwwwwwww" cooed Harveste, "I do too"

Miss Sally smiled softly, "Me three"

I was homesick too.

I wanted to be with her and with my brother in our Upper East Side small apartment and go to a public school, even though I had to deal with my obnoxius step-father and his poker buddies.—

Ron made a face, what could some muggle possibly make two great people angry?

He glanced at Harveste seated beside him and saw him have a brooding look.

There are things I would still miss in Yancy Academy especially Grover,do you think he could survive next year without me?. I'd miss Latin class too and Mr Brunner with his crazy tournaments.

I nearly threw the Cambridge Guide to Greek mythology book across the room out of frustration, but didn't, I paced around the room trying to read but the letters only bounced out of the book. If only Grover was here to do flash cards with me. Ah right, problems with my dyslexia everytime, I try to read a book. You can ask any dyslexia person about their point of view on reading something because the letters would probably do tango or in longer version it would go upside down, revert, dance, bounce and jump.—

Demigods chuckled at this.

—So,how the hell am I suppose to spell Greek and Roman mythology names easily. And conjugating a verb?. Nah forget it.—

Annabeth squinted her eyes at Percy. "Hey! I'm dyslexic too but somehow I still read ya know!"

"All of us does" shrugged Peter.

Dyslexia helps doesn't it?. It helps give you migraine and hemorrhage. If only you could strangle it,if only it's a person.—

"You wish"

—I took a deep breath and tried to read. I never asked for a teachers help, particular reasons of it was them being a bitch. I mean geez, if this is the ambition you wanted, you have to be patient, kind and stern as well.—

At the corner of Ron's eye, he could see McGonagall nodding come to think of it where was she the whole time again?

A lot of teachers are Like this. Except Mr. Brunner. At least I could ask some pointers for the exam and apologize for the big fat C I was about to get. I don't want to get kicked out with him thinking I hadn't tried. I put my contacts on.

And There I went, downstairs to the teacher's faculty offices. It was empty and dark. What a great foreshadowing.—

Demigod's and legacies snorted.

—All of them except for Mr. Brunner's that was ajar and light from his window spreading dimly across the hallway.

I was three steps from the door handle when I heard voices from the room. Mr. Brunner asked something and I'm pretty sure it was Grover's voice who answered.

'......worried about Percy sir'.

Now who wouldn't eavesdrop when your name is mentioned between a conversation of your friend with a adult,in a serious like topic?—

*Nods*

I inched closer.

'...alone this summer'. Grover said.

'I mean a kindly one in the school now we know for sure and they know for sure that-'.

'We're just making matters worst if we rush her'. Mr. Brunner said.' We need her to mature more'.

"Well I am mature!" Exclaimed Percy. Harveste, Natasha, Tony, Steve, Annabeth and many more others agreed. "Your as mature as a seven years old actually.

Percy pouted.

'But she may have not have time. The summer solstice-'.

'Will have to resort without her Grover, let her enjoy her ignorance while she still has time'.

"To live?"

'But sir she saw her-'.

'In her imagination'. Mr. Brunner insisted. 'The mist over the students and staff will help with that'.

"See!" Exclaimed a muggle pointing at the book while jumping. "I told you it's like from illiad!"

"Wow.....so what you were saying the truth....?" The muggle's friend said.

"Duh!"

'Sir,I can't fail in my duties again'. Grover choked on an emotion.' You know what will happen'.

Everyone wandered what would happen.

'You haven't failed,Grover ' Mr. Brunner said kindly.' I should've seen her for what she was,now we should worry on about how to keep Percy alive till next autumn-'.

Thud

Mr. Brunner went silent.

The mythology book dropped out of my hand. I panicked and quickly picked it up and ran silently to the nearest hiding spot In the hallway and crouched down, heart hammering against my chest.

A shadow slid across Mr. Brunner's lighted glass. A shadow completely taller than the wheel-boundteacher I knew ,holding something suspiciously like an archers bow.

"Wow. He's really Chiron"

I went to the nearest open door and slipped inside, closing it, I crouched down.

"Nice sneaking. Percy" commented Natasha. "You're really fit to become an Agent or an Assassin"

Few seconds a heard a slow clop-clop-clop like muffled wood blocks And snuffling like an animal, right outside my door. A large dark shape paused in front of the glass then moved on.

Sweat trickled down my neck.

Somewhere in the hallway Mr. Brunner spoke 'Nothing,my nerves haven't been right since winter solstice'.

'Mine neither'. Grover muttered.' But I could've sworn-'.

'Go back to your dorm' Mr. Brunner told him 'You've got a long day of exams tomorrow'.

'Don't remind me'. Grover muttered.

The light went out and they left. I waited in the dark for what seem like forever.

I went back upstairs and saw Grover lying there like he'd been there all night.

'You studying for exams tomorrow?'. He asked.

I hummed a maybe. I took off my contacts.

'You look awful and wow your eye color just changed to purple! You look pretty'.

I knew he wanted to cheer me up.

Ah right I forgot about my eyes. My mum and I had kaleidoscope eyes that swirled in different colors, not my brother tho cause he's adopted.

Many gasped. "Wow!, demigod eyes can do that!?"

Percy scratched her nape, "Well it's more like a Aphrodite child thing...."

"I thought your a daughterof Poseidon?"

"I'm a legacy of Aphrodite, just to clarify"

"Oh"

While Ron gaped at Harveste, actually all the wizards were.

"You're adopted!?"

"Yeah....."

'Nothing,just.....tired'.

Seems like my suspicions were true. Or I think it's true?

Next afternoon as I was leaving my three-hour long Latin exam. My eyes swimming with all the Greek and Roman name that I misspelled Mr. Brunner called me back inside.

For a moment I thought he would reprimand me for eavesdropping the conversation he had with Grover, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

'Percy, don't be discouraged about leaving Yancy, it's for the best'.

His tone was kind but it embarrassed me. Even though he spoke quietly my classmates still heard us. Nancy smirked and blew kissing motions.

I rolled my eyes 'As If you had good grades anyways'.—

"Boom! Deserve!" Exclaimed a muggle named Helena. Harveste seemed to know her because they did a very complicated handshake when Harveste leaned in towards their table.

She has chocolate brown skin and and frizzy curly hair that was box-braided and sparkling chocolate brown eyes but also fox-eyes.

—Her smirk instantly dropped and I answered Mr. Brunner 'It's alright sir I can just move on to a next school anyways'. I beamed up to him. Trying not to cry.—

"Awwwwwww. It's alright, Percy"

Percy blushed. "Shut up"

'Percy-'

But I already left.

On the last day of school I shoved down all my clothes on my suitcase.

—I dreaded saying goodbye to Grover but it turns out he'd booked a ticket to Manhattan on the same Greyhound—

"Greyhound?" A wizard asked out loud.

"It's a form of transportation" answered a muggleborn witch—that popped out of nowhere before Harveste could say it.

"Nice to meet you" she handed Harveste her hand. "I'm Hermione Granger"

Harveste took it. "Nice to meet ya'"

—as I am. So there we were, together again, heading towards Manhattan on a bus.

On the whole ride Grover kept nervously glancing down the people and at the people who entered. I figured he was always nervous and fidgety outside of school. I always thought that maybe he was always like this because of bullies in Yancy but we're not in Yancy anymore.

Then I couldn't stand It anymore 'Looking for kindly one's?'.—

Annabeth face-palmed and groaned. "Seriously? Percy?"

—Grover nearly yeeted himself out of his seat.' Wha-what do mean Percy?'.

'You're a bad liar Grover'.

'Wha-'.

'The one I saw in the museum was a kindly one isn't it?'

He sighed and looked down 'I sometimes forgot you observe too much'.—

"Healthy reminder guys, it always gets her in trouble"

"Hey!"

—He looked up to me and I raised an eyebrow.

He knows I need answers. Like right now.

From his shirt he fished a grubby bussiness card and handed it to me.

"Business card?" Asked Ron. Harveste inched closer to him, "I'll tell you later'

'Just take this okay? If you need me this summer'.

Now reading it would've murdered my eyes but I managed to make it out.

Grover Underwood,Keeper

Half-blood Hill

Long Island, New York

(008)009-0009

"That's near MACUSA" Ron muttered to himself but Harveste heard him. "You mean where Newt Scamander fell in love with Percival Graves? And where the ship named 'Gramander' came from?"

*Silence*

"Yeah...?" Said Ron reluctantly. Even though he didn't know half of what Harveste said.

'What's Half-'

'Don't say it out loud!'. He yelped.

'Thats my ummmmm...summer address '. Right I completely forgot that Grover has a family that are probably as rich as the kids in Yancy.

'Why would I need you?'. It was harsher than what I meant to.' Sorry', I muttered.

'No ha, its alright but umm.. Percy I-the truth is I kind of have to..... protect you'.

I stared at him.

You mean all this time I had to get through trouble for him,he was supposed to protect me?.

'Grover', I started 'what exactly are you protecting me from?'.

There was a grinding noise under our feet. Black smoke filled the bus with a smell of rotten like eggs. The driver cursed and limped the Greyhound at the side of the road of the highway.

After a few minutes of clanking in the engine—

"I assume an engine is a part of the Greyhound?" Ron stated.

"Yup"

—compartment, the driver announced that we'd all have to get off.

Me and Grover filled with the people outside.

We we're in a stretch of a country road a no place you'd never notice if you ever break down there. On our side of highway there was nothing but Mapple

Trees and litter from passing cars. On the other side, across four lanes of asphalt shimmering with afternoon heat,is an old-fashioned fruit stand

The stuff on sale looked really delectable:heaping blood red cherries and apples, walnuts and apricots, jugs of cider in claw-foot tub filled with ice.

There was no costumers. Just three old ladies under a maple tree, knitting the most biggest pair of socks I'd ever seen.

Magnus sweated. Of course its them.

I mean those socks are the size of sweaters, but those are clearly socks.

The lady on the right knitted on the other. The lady on the left on other too. The lady in the middle held a large basket of electric blue yarn.

All three women looked ancient, with pale faces wrinkled like fruit leather, silver hair tied back in bandannas, bony arms sticking out of bleach cotton dresses.

The weirdest thing was they seemed to be looking right at me. I looked at Grover to say something about this but saw blood drain out of his face and his nose twitch. He looked mortified.

'Grover', I said. 'Hey man-'.

'Tell me they're not looking at you aren't they?'.

'Yeah weird, huh, you think those socks would fit me?'.

Everybody shook their head.

'Not funny Percy. Not funny'.

The old lady in the middle took out a scissor a gold and silver, long bladed, like shears. I heard Grover catching his breath.

'We're getting in the bus'. He told me.' Come on'.

'What? It's like a thousand degrees in there'.

'Come on!'. He prised open the door.

But I stayed back.

Across the road I can still see the old ladies watching me. The middle one cut the yard and I swear I could hear it snip across from four lanes of traffic—

There were a bunch of gasps.

Her friends balled up the electric blue yarn, I wanted to know who were they for, sasquatch or godzilla?.

Muugles, demigods, legacies and Argorians alike laughed. Atleast spirits were lifted.

At the rear of the bus the bus driver pulled out a big chunk of smoking metal out of the engine compartment

The bus shuddered and the engine roared back to life.

The passengers cheered

'Dam right!' Yelled the bus driver.

He slapped his hat on the bus. 'Every body back on board!'.

Once we got going, I started to feel queasy, as if I had caught the flu.

Grover didn't look much better he was shivering and his teeth were chattering.

'Grover?'.

'Yeah?'.

'What are you not telling?'.

He dabbed his forehead with his shirt sleeve.' Percy, what did you see at the fruit stand?'.

'You mean those old ladies?, they're not like Mrs. Dodds aren't they?'.

His expression was hard to read. But I figured that they were much worse than Mrs. Dodds.

Cue Nods and murmur of agreements.

"I'm confused" said a muggle. "What's wrong with the three old ladies?"

"They're the lady fates....they decide of somebody's fate obviously"

"Oh"

He said 'Just tell me what you saw'.

'The middle one took the scissor, and she cut the yarn'.

He closed his eyes and made a gesture, he might've been crossing his heart but the gesture was ancient, it might've been a gesture to ward off bad luck.

Ron noticed Argorians doing the same thing.

He said 'You saw her snip the cord?'.

'Yeah, what about it?'. But even though I had said it like that, I knew it was a big deal.

Annabeth shook her head. Her paleness was a contrast against her chocolate brown skin.

'This is not happening' Grover mumbled. He started chewing at his thumb.

'I don't this to be like last time'.

'What last time?'.

'Always sixth grade, they never got past six'.

Oh, thought Ron. This is what Harveste meant.

Grover was really freaking me out.

'Let's me walk you home from the station, Promise me'

It was a strange request but I promised him.

'So is this Greek mythology like the real Greek mythology?'.

No answer.

'Grover, them snipping the yarn means somebody is going to die isn't it?'.

Ron paled.

He looked at me mournfully as if his picking the best flowers for my coming funeral.

'If you want a tip about my flowers in my funeral please make it blue'.

'This isn't funny, Percy'.

Harveste shook his head. "Not funny Percy".
