Newt and Theseus were able to collect a part of the map yet they were met with some of Grindelwald’s followers seen as this was one of their lower profile hideouts however they easily escaped and once they returned it to Dumbledore, Newt once again thinks about Tina, where could she be right now?
Dumbledore told him,she’s to gather Intel about one of Grindelwald’s acolytes from one of her informants, yet who this may be and where they are remains a mystery.
He is left to stare at the picture glued to the lid of his case and the photograph he has framed on his desk in the case which was taken by Queenie a few weeks ago, Tina is sat on the grass with her legs crossed as 4 baby nifflers climb over her, he is sat beside her leaning back on his arms watching as one of the nifflers tickle her neck making her laugh, Pickett is poking his head out his pocket and Dougal is perched newt to Newt on the grass. He smiles remembering that day clear as day.
“Oh Tina, I hope you are okay” he mumbles then turns to complete his evening feeding his creatures.

Tina awakens in the dark, the air is damp and filled with dust, she tries to adjust her arms which are chained up above her head with her feet barely touching the floor, yet the movement sends another jolt of pain through the wrists, down her arms and along her spine. She’s been here for a week, in this dark cell with little to no food, but she knew suspected this. She traveled to one of Grindelwald’s safe houses to blend in as one of Grindelwald’s new followers a spy in order to gather intel, she pretended to be a supporter, it felt sickening but she had no choice, she needed to be inside amongst his acolytes to gather the information she needed, and so far it’s going as well as she hoped. Dumbledore said she needs to makes sure that a man named Prescott is the one who she finds, she has no idea who or what his connection is to Grindelwald only that he’s one of the few people who know what Grindelwald plans are. However, this man, Prescott is far more ruthless than she thought and quite a bit more violent. She was warned however she knew that she could handle it, she knew the plan, she has 14 days to gather as much information as she can (so far she managed to get 2 possible locations of an attack, one is near a river in Hungary and the second is a forest in Albania) then Newt and Theseus will come take her home. Newt.
She’s thought of him every day she left Hogwarts, she knows that he won’t react well when Dumbledore tells him the true purpose of the mission, especially now that it hasn’t gone according to plan. After 5 days of trying to get more and more info he figured out her name from one of the newsprints but that was hardly enough to get her to reveal her secrets but he immediately locked her up. He’d interrogate her every day trying to find out who she works for, she didn’t budge in fact it made him more and more frustrated but luckily for Tina the more angry he is the more he spills, he accidentally revealed that Grindelwald plans to travel to Norway in a week this will come in handy one she gets out, however her lack of sharing on her part makes him more violent. He doesn’t hesitate to use the crucio spell on her but once that proves unsuccessful he moved onto carving at her skin with a knife and firing spells at her torso and legs, she suspects one of her ribs had cracked but she doesn’t break character.
2 more days and she’d be free, she just had to hold on. It was always the plan to keep Newt in that dark, she hated it but she knew that if he was in it from the start he’d not let her go without a fight and there was no time, Grindelwald’s gaining more and more followers and the wizarding community is at risk, they need to fight but first they need to slow him down. So she holds on, for Newt, for Queenie and everyone she holds dear, at least they are safe and that though keeps her going.
