He wasn't a bad kid. For sure Kelly Severide loved to stir up trouble but it's all in the name of fun. Right? Or was there something else going on?
Kelly feels angry all the time. He could help but wonder if there was something wrong with him. Why did the people he cared about the most always leave? He barely remembers what his birth parents look like. His most recent foster parents just passed away in a car accident and now Kelly knows he'll be sent to one of those awful group homes for troubled teens. When he was younger, he bounced around in different foster homes. It was as if no one was willing to give him the chance to find a happy home. The couple that recently chose to foster him was one of the only ones to show him love and affection. They made him feel like he mattered. Like he wasn't another disappointment.
