The Burrow Part 2
On the evening of the day after she got Ron's letter, Mr and Mrs Weasley showed up to pick her up.
They had apparated in, if what she had read was right.
They were warm and loving, treating her like one of their own, very different from her own parents.
When they asked her parents whether Hermione could stay with them for the summer, Daniel and Emmarsyn Granger had swiftly said yes.
She could see the relief in their eyes. She couldn't blame them though, she could see that it was getting suffocating for them too.
The eldest Weasleys were concerned about her, watching the coldness, she could tell.
"Thank you for letting me stay with you, Mr and Mrs Weasley", she smiled.
Although it may not have been a good idea, for she could see their concern growing at her being so excited to leave her home, especially after being away for almost a year.
"We're happy to let you stay dear. after all, you're one of Ron's friends and such a nice and polite girl", Mrs Weasley smiled.
They used the floo to get back, to the Burrow, and the moment they stepped out, Hermione was pulled into a hug by Ron and Crystal.
"Good to have you back, Sciurus."
It felt good to be back with all her friends, well except Harry, but having at least two of them was better then nothing.
