Summary
Sirius Black goes to visit the Marauders over the summer before their sixth year starts and finds with shocking delight that Remus Lupin is in a band. And Remus Lupin is so very hot.One Shot

Sirius Orion Black was a little more than a little drunk when he sauntered into the club James Potter had begged him to make an appearance at tonight. Although as he stepped into the dark and sweaty room, part of him prayed that James had written down the wrong coordinates for him to apparate to.

Prongs had probably never been to a club in his existence anyway, so Sirius battled with the very real possibility that his friend thought this environment was as good as it got.

Sirius prayed real clubs weren’t like this.

There was some sort of liquid he felt his shoes seep into on the floor, and with each step he cringed at the feeling of his pristine docs being destroyed by whatever he was stepping on. Nevertheless Sirius braved through the scenery, squeezing past mobs of people dancing endlessly on one side of the room while other people simply leaned against walls, eating or smoking or doing god knows what. Pulling his leather jacket which he now wished he hadn’t worn out, Sirius continued to scan the crowd. He missed his friends greatly and hadn’t seen Moony, Prongs, or Wormtail since the end of fifth year, with their sixth year looming over them in no more than a week, Sirius had just barely been able to slip out of his house with his luggage and drop it off to the Potter’s after receiving James coordinates.

“Pads!” Sirius whirled behind him to see James Potter waving like a lunatic with his arms near what must’ve been some disgusting stage of sorts at the head of the room. Sirius silently swore to himself that he would take them all to a far nicer- far less muggle location once they all arrived. Perhaps he would even find a real club for the lads, after all anything was better than the shithole they were in now.

The Marauders deserved better.

“Prongs,” He sighed embracing his friend and glancing at Peter Pettigrew who gave a jittery sort of wave from behind him. If possible, after a whole summer James looked as if he was thriving, and Peter seemed to appear worse than how he looked when exams came out. The boy still had yet to grow, and Sirius had his suspicions that would never happen, and if he was not larger than before, he was certainly paler. Sirius couldn’t find it in himself to blame Wormtail though, after he couldn’t imagine that the boy would enjoy himself at an actual club, let alone this dark underground dump where it smelled strongly of weed and vodka.

James of course, as he always seemed to do, looked better than the last time Sirius had seen him. He was taller, but finally seemed to grow into his weight and wasn’t just skin and bones. His hair was a bit shorter, his skin was darker, and his eyes were brighter, as if this whole experience was was the most fun he had indulged in all summer, and if he had been spending his time with Peter all summer, well, Sirius wasn’t too surprised.

“Where is Moony?” Sirius looked around and tried not to appear to interested as he scanned for the final member of the Marauders. He couldn’t give your the exact date or moment things had changed, but suddenly Sirius felt his entire summer was wrapped around Remus Lupin. Where was he? Was he alright wherever he was staying? What type of stuff did Moony do over the summer? Why hadn’t he written? Did he even miss his friends? Did he even miss Sirius?

In his letters and secret meetings with James at the beginning of summer, Sirius had expressed these concerns, only to get a sidelong glance from James and a strange expression saying Moony was just doing the same things he had done every summer since he had known the boys. He lived off at some boys camp outside London and spent his summer as a muggle.

Sirius had found this grain of information he had known for years infuriating, and even more so, he didn’t understand why.

James opened his mouth to respond but not before Peter beat him, his hands rapidly tapping against each other as he spoke.

“Well we will have to see him any minute,” Sirius knit his eyebrows at the boy’s annoyed tone, “Like it or not.” James lightly slapped Peter on the back of his head and turned to Sirius, his eyes still delighted.

“Don’t listen to him Padfoot, he’s just cranky we are in a muggle club, but let me tell you, I’ve been to so many of Remus’s shows over the summer and you’ve never seen anything like them!”

James had been hanging out with Remus and Peter all summer? Sirius tried to get his mouth to work and fight off the sickening feeling that washed over him. They had been hanging out together? Without him?

Without him. That part was definite, yet as Sirius was about to ask James more about it, the entire front of the club where the boys had been standing dropped to a hush before light tangy music started to fill the area, loud enough that Peter jumped back, but Sirius found himself leaning forward.

First were the drums, then a guitar, then voices, soft and hushed before growing louder and lights flooded into the stage. It was muggle music. Sirius knew at least that much, but that was it before the voices all around him started screaming the lyrics, so loud and intense that even Sirius had no clue what people were saying, yet somehow it was beautiful.

Moony.

Where was he? Sirius spun around, he may not have known how his friend had spent the summer but he still knew Remus, knew him enough to know that he would love this. Love the dancing, love the voices, love the beat. He kept scanning the doorway until finally James grab him and smiled, his eyes wide before yelling something at Sirius, but his voice was lost in the sounds all around them, Sirius leaned in closer but still could only read his lips.

“The what?!” He hollered back in response before finally Peter squeaked at an octave to high to ignore:

“THE STAGE!” Sirius turned towards the stage and froze, because there at the center Remus Bloody Lupin stood, screaming at the top of his lungs into the metal microphone in front of him as his hands dashed and twirled along the length of the entire electric guitar. And Sirius froze. His body was numb as he simply took in Moony, his hair was longer and softer, of course not nearly as long as Sirius’s. And his face, it was darker too, as if he had been outside all summer long, his tan made his scars lighter down his face- more prominent. And he was tall. So tall. He was probably taller than James by a good few inches, but he was still lanky. He still had his steel-toed-docs laced up in different colors, one golden one red. And he still was Moony, Sirius’s Moony.

But had Sirius’s Moony ever done this? Ever even looked like this? Because somehow, in some moment between Sirius leaning forward and Remus’s lips grazing the metal on his microphone Sirius Black has an epiphany.

Remus was hot.

Remus was so fucking hot

Sirius caught himself and blinked, stumbling back a few steps. Not that anyone noticed since James and Peter’s eyes were still glued to the stage, but Sirius? Suddenly his body was too tight and this room was too hot and everyone was just too goddamn close to him. But there was Remus, at the head of the room, looking like a goddamn king- no a god. His button up was probably once white, but in this light looked closer to a cream color and was rolled up high enough to show his forearms, and it wasn’t like he was in Hogwarts with his shirt buttoned to his neck, because here Sirius swore he caught a glimpse of his chest.

But what the hell was going on with Sirius? He turned towards the girls next to him, half naked and dancing, they were hot, but not in the same way Remus was. Against his better judgement he stepped closer to the stage as another singer moved closer to the microphone Remus was using. No, those girls were not hot in the way Remus was. They had curves and flush skin and full lips and long hair but fuck it because even though Remus’s hair was shorter Sirius wanted to throw his hands into into it and feel him forever.

But there was the other singer, a guy with darkened blond hair and ripped jeans with a tattered shirt who the girls next to him screamed for when he started singing out of the same mic as Moony.

The same goddamn microphone. The two boys faces were touching as they screamed together and Remus let loose onto his guitar. The crowd was going wild but all Sirius could think waswhy were they so close? Did Remus think that fucking Jeans-Guy was hot? It disgusted him, but Sirius couldn’t take his eyes off the stage until at last Remus leaned back from the microphone and closed his eyes, his fingers pulling and strumming against his guitar as finally, they flung off the instrument and the music cascaded to an end. And there was silence, and then there were screams.

The singing, it only felt like seconds, or had it felt like years? Sirius couldn’t tell as he stood next to James, the latter of the two breaking out in the biggest grin Sirius had ever seen.

“That was just incredible! Remus is just incredible!!”

“When did he start?” Sirius asked, glancing up to see his friend waving and exiting to the back part of the stage. James blinked for a moment as if he was processing the question before answering.

“Singing and guitar? I think he invited us to one of these in the end of July right Wormtail?” Peter shrugged saying they had already been to four of this little concerts and he was glad Remus was finally done, a comment which James and Sirius blissfully ignored. “Anyways I never thought I would love muggle music this much!” James exclaimed while Sirius nodded uninterestedly before turning back to his friends.

“Right well I’m going to find myself a drink and how about we catch up with Moony afterwards! I haven’t seen my pals all summer,” And before the boys could even answer Sirius broke off into the crowd and began slipping behind people and small hallways before he at last ran into Remus behind the stage. They were in a tight hallway, probably connected to a backstage room when Remus stepped out, waving goodbye to someone inside before he turned to face Sirius, jumping back grabbing his chest.

“Blimey Sirius! Are you trying to give me a bloody heart attack!” But Sirius simply stood there silently for a moment, his gaze sinking into Remus until the boy seemed to get antsy with the attention.

“I didn’t know you could do that.” Remus sort of shuffled from foot to foot and looked down at the comment.

“Well I can,”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“You had been busy all summer, plus I knew you were coming tonight.”

“But James and Peter had been to like four of these,” Sirius gestured around them, “And you haven’t even written to me once this summer.” Remus sighed, rubbing his hair back with his hands before looking back up, or rather back down at Sirius. How the hell had he gotten so tall? It wasn’t like Sirius was at all short.

“Look Sirius, I know at the end of last year you told us all to write, but stuff has been getting worse lately so we decided that it would probably be better not to write to you. It’s not like Peter was or anything, why don’t you go yell at him!”

“But I wanted you to write Moony.” Remus stilled for a moment before abruptly clasping his hands together and making a tight smile.

“I’m sorry you missed us all but look Sirius, we are all together now and we will be fore the next year and-,”

“I didn’t say I missed you all,” Sirius cut in as Remus leaned back against the hallway wall, “I missed you.”

“Well I’m flattered but of course you missed the other Marauders,” Remus said biting the inside of his cheek will Sirius stood in front of him.

“Not the same was I missed you,” Sirius took a step further, squishing Remus against the wall as he dropped his voice, “I thought about you all the time, I missed you everyday and when I saw you here tonight my first thought,” Sirius leaned in so that his was whispering right on top of his lips, “Was that you were so fucking hot.” A noise escaped Remus’s mouth that definitely sounded like a whimper as he leaned in, just as Sirius pulled his face back enough so there was still a gap between their lips.

“Fuck you Black,” Was the last thing Sirius heard before he felt his face being thrown on top of Remus’s, his eyes widened in a mix of shock and delight before Remus pulled apart, panting. “You have no clue how long I’ve waited for you to say that,” And it was Sirius’s turn now to begin kissing as he raked his hands through Remus’s hair and pushed his hips against his on the wall. Remus moaned quietly within kisses which led Sirius to push harder before moving his lips against his neck, Remus tipping his head back in pleasure before slipping his hands beneath Sirius’s jacket and shirt and gripping them along his back.

“Moony Moony Moony,” Sirius whispered between kisses, pulling his hands from Remus’s hair and down to his pants where he palmed his erection while Remus groaned. “Someone is excited.” Remus muttered something incoherent but probably ‘fuck you’ as Sirius gently pulled down his pants just enough to slip down his trousers, revealing Remus’s hard cock.

It was already dripping with precum as Sirius let his hand slowly move down his erection before once more making it’s way back up, Remus bit into Sirius’s neck at the bare feeling with a gasp while Sirius continued, laughing doing the motion over again while Remus moaned nonsense into his neck.

“Fuck Sirius, stop teasing,” He moaned, “Just do it,”

“Do what?” Sirius mused, pausing to let his thumb move in soft circles along Remus’s tip, Remus shivered with the pressure, shaking into Sirius’s neck.

“Just get me off,” He moaned at last leaving Sirius to wink before rapidly moving his hand up and down just the tip of his cock, Remus shook, dragging his nails along Sirius back, moaning. Sirius moved up and down Remus’s cock, relishing in the pleasure he was feeling while Remus begged for him to go faster.

“Needy one aren’t you mate?” He laughed while Remus’s moaned into his neck, probably leaving permanent nail indentations down his spine, not that Sirius cared at all.

“Shit just a little faster,” Remus groaned, arching into Sirius, “Fuck right there,” But before he could finish Sirius dropped his hand off Remus’s cock and smiled.

“I would hate to waste anymore time,” He slipped his own dick out of his pants and grinned, “So why don’t we just finish together?” Remus opened his mouth in probably shock, maybe horror before Sirius began running his hand down both of their erections together, Remus collapsing onto his neck and biting down to stop his screams. “Ah shit,” Sirius muttered under his breath just as Remus arched and came all over both his, and Sirius’s cocks. His body arched further as Sirius continued moving his hand up and down their cocks until Remus began crying with pleasure again before Sirius finally exploded all over both of them.

For a moment or maybe a year they both stood there, panting and leaning against each other before Remus opened his eyes and covered his mouth with his hands.

“Shit!”

“What?” Sirius backed up, zipping up his pants, he really was hoping that Remus wasn’t going to change his mind and file Sirius to the police for sexual harassment but found instead Remus what bright red staring at Sirius’s neck.

“You have, er- hickeys and bites all over your neck,” He spat out, so quick it was hardly coherent as he frantically pulled up his trousers and rearranged his pants. “Oh my god! Where are James and Peter?!” Sirius tipped his head back and laughed before draping his arm over a panting Remus’s shoulder and pulling him back to the club.

“Who the hell knows?” And despite the pair being lost, James who seemed to be on a rescue mission quickly found the two, with Peter trailing behind him while Remus frantically pulled Sirius’s hair in front of his neck. Peter was quiet for a moment while James knit his eyebrow in confusion.

“Were you two fighting?” Sirius suppressed a smile and let his hand fall off of Remus’s shoulder.

“We just bumped into a few people trying to find you!” Remus exclaimed, smiling widely as if grinning would offset his lie. James, still looking puzzled shrugged after a moment before turning back to Sirius.

“Right well I completely forgot,” He began, the four making their way out of the club, “But if you and Remus are both staying over for this week before school starts you’ll probably have to share a room.” Sirius threw his hand over his head dramatically and feigned horror.

“However am I supposed to sleep with a bookworm like Moony?” He cried on the street. Remus rolled his eyes at Sirius before turning back to James.

“I’m sure I’ll never get any sleep with this one in my room,” And as the four Marauders descended into the night Sirius muttered low enough so that no one but Remus could hear.

“Not a wink.”
