“Couldn’t you keep your cold to yourself?”
Ben rolled over and slowly began to wake up. He quickly realized whatever cold Leslie caught at work a few days ago, had finally caught up to him. He felt stiff and achy, and both his nostrils were completely clogged.
Leslie had spent Thursday and Friday feeling the same way, but in true Leslie fashion, refused to admit it. Ben had to practically force her to stay in bed, which of course upset Leslie, and made him feel guilty aswell, but he knew it was for the best.
He coughed into his elbow a little too loudly, and accidentally woke Leslie up.
”whats going on?” She asked drowsily.
”sorry to wake you babe,”
“it’s okay I need to wake up and get to work anyway,” she sniffed. “Are you okay?”
”I think whatever you came down with came around to bite me,” he coughed again. “God, I love you babe, but couldn’t you keep your cold to yourself? This is hell,”
”aww Ben I’m sorry,” she said. “But you couldn’t have caught it from me, I’m in perfect condition,” she said, coincidentally sneezing right after.
Ben rolled his eyes.“Bless you,” Typical Leslie.
“Anways, what can I get for you? Soup? Medicine? Thermometer?”
“just come cuddle with me, you could use some rest too,”
“Okay I can do that. Only because you need it, I am in perfect condition thank you very much,”
Ben chuckled a little and opened his arms. “Okay, come here you goofball,”
and she did.
