Burning up then freezing cold
“Bennnn” Leslie whined from their couch.
Ben had finally after all day of Leslie clearly feeling very ill and refusing to admit it, gotten her to lay down and take it easy.
“Yes?”
“I’m cold, can I have another blanket?”
Ben looked at her. “You already have like 5 of them but I’ll see what I can do,”
Ben returned a few minutes later with another quilt he managed to pull out of their closet and draped it over her.
“This good?” He asked.
Leslie replied by kicking off all the blankets and began fanning herself with her hand.
“What was that for?” He asked.
“But bennnn now I’m hot!” She whined.
“That would be your fever,” he sighed. “What can I do to help you?”
She looked up at him with big glassy eyes. “Come cuddle me?”
“That I can do,” he said, climbing on the couch and spooning her from behind.
“I’m sorry you’re not feeling well babe,” he said.
She just sighed and snuggled in closer in response.
“Ben?” She said after a few minutes.
“Yeah?”
“Can I have the blankets back? It’s freezing!”
Ben chuckled a little. “Of course,”
