Dominique Weasley is the second daughter and child of Bill and Fleur. She was born when Victoire was 2. She was 2 when her brother Louis was born. Dominique and Victoire do not get along. Victoire did not react well to having a sister. Her nasty attitude towards Dominique continued as they got older, and no one put a stop to it. Dominique is often compared to her sister, especially by her mother, much to her ire. Dominique and Louis get along well. Louis usually plays peacekeeper between his sisters. Dominique is the first blood related Weasley grandchild to have red hair.

Dominique gets a lot of her personality from her father. She is more like Bill than either of her siblings. She even looks a lot like him. Dominique values her freedom and individuality. She hates being “another Weasley”. She wants to be herself; she wants to be known for who she is, not for her family. Dominique usually gets along great with her father; he acted the same way when he was young. Her relationship with Fleur is very strained. Fleur wants Dominique to be more like Victoire: refined and ambitious. Fleur considers Dominique to be her “trouble child”.

Growing up, Dominique was, and still is, very close to her cousin Molly. She considers Molly more of a sister to her than Victoire. Dominique would often escape her house and go to the Weasley-Wood residence. Oliver and Percy always welcomed her with open arms. They are her favorite uncles. When not at the Weasley-Woods, Dominique could often be found at the Potter’s house, hanging out with her Aunt Ginny. Ginny was always Dominique’s listening ear when she and Fleur would argue. She often asked Ginny questions that she did not feel comfortable asking her mother. Dominique always got along with her cousin Albus. She and Al bonded over being the middle child; they both were a little different than their siblings. She also enjoys hanging out with her cousin Roxanne.

At Hogwarts, Dominique was sorted into Gryffindor. She prefers to keep her feet on the ground, so she was not on her house quidditch team. She usually acts as referee during family games. While not as scholarly as Nadia or Molly, Dominique was a decent student. She earned 5 OWLs and 6 NEWTs. Her best subject was ancient runes. During Hogwarts, she met her best friends: Ella Bennett, Jacob Moore, and Rye Longbottom. In her 5th year, she figured out that she was bisexual. While she never hid it, she never actually came out to anyone. She believes it is no one’s business what she does with her life.

In the spring of her 7th year, Dominique’s life changed forever. She found out she was pregnant three months before graduation. The only person who knew was Madam Pomfrey. By this time, Dominique was 17, an adult, which meant that Madam Pomfrey could not tell her parents. Dominique hid her pregnancy until after graduation. The first person she told was Ginny, a week after she returned from school. Ginny helped her come up with a plan to tell her parents. When she told them, the fall out was disastrous.

Bill was, of course, upset that his teenage daughter was going to have a baby. Even so, he was ready to support her. Fleur was a different story. She was furious that Dominique got herself into that situation. She went as far as to say “Victoire would never…”. Fleur decided that the best thing to do, would be to send Dominique away to France for the duration of her pregnancy. Dominique (and Bill) flat out refused. The explosive argument that followed sent Dominique, in tears, seeking solace at the Potter house. Ginny and Harry welcomed her easily.

Damian Emil Weasley was born on November 16, 2019. By the time of his birth, Dominique and Fleur were not on speaking terms. Dominique had moved in with the Potters, indefinitely. Ginny and Harry had no problem helping with the baby, and the Potter kids enjoyed having Dominique and Damian around. Fleur did not get to meet her grandson until he was almost 9 months old. Fleur apologized to her daughter, and Dominique accepted, though their relationship remains strained.

When she has the time, Dominique loves going to the Muggle world. The Muggle world allows her to escape the pressure of being from a well-known family. It gives her anonymity. She likes to listen to muggle hip-hop music. She loves muggle artists like Stormzy and Tinie Tempah. She also likes American artists Nicki Minaj and Eminem (who are both magic). Dominique is a spectacular artist. She loves to draw and paint. Art is her escape. She can cook pretty well. She was always better at traditional homemaking tasks than Victoire was, which she thoroughly enjoys. Harry has been teaching her how to cook Indian food.

Dominique has a septum piercing in her nose. She also has three lobe piercings on both ears and a helix piercing on her right ear. She and Teddy got them done together. Dominique is quite the fashionista. Her Aunt Gabrielle always sends the latest fashions from France. Dominique can make an outfit out of anything and doesn’t stick to one style. That, when paired with her slight Veela powers, makes heads turn. Dominique never used her beauty in the way her sister did. She prefers to fly under the radar and wants people to want her because of her, not her looks.

Dominique’s eye for fashion came in handy when she took a job at Lavender Brown’s boutique in Diagon Alley. Once her maternity leave is over, Lavender has invited her back to help her design a new clothesline.

Dominique is currently looking for her own apartment, though Harry and Ginny are in no rush to get rid of her. She, like her siblings, is fluent in French.
