Victoire Weasley is the first-born daughter of Bill and Fleur Weasley. She was born on the 1st anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, which was the end of the Second Wizarding War. At the time of her birth, her family vowed that May 2nd would never be a sad day again. Her birth signaled the start of something new. She was 2 when her sister Dominique was born and 4 when her brother Louis was born. Her and Dominique do not get along very well.
Victoire is very close with her uncles George and Harry. They were often the first ones to volunteer to babysit. They, arguably, lost the most during the war and used Victoire (and Teddy and Nadia) as a reason to keep going. It is hard to be sad surrounded by happy children. Because of this, Victoire is very close to Teddy and Nadia.
Growing up, Harry often took the children to muggle parks. This is where Victoire fell in love with the muggle sport of football. After lots of begging, Harry and Hermione helped Bill and Fleur sign her up for a little league team. Over the years, Victoire became an impressive striker. When she went to Hogwarts, after some negotiation with Headmistress McGonagall and her head of house, she started a football club. This drew in lots of muggleborns and half-bloods, along with curious purebloods. By her 2nd year, each Hogwarts house had their own football teams that competed in an interhouse tournament, much like quidditch. By 5th year, she was her team’s captain.
Victoire is terrified of hippogriffs. When she was 4, unbeknownst to her family, a wild hippogriff had made a nest near Shell Cottage. While playing, Victoire came across the nest with an egg in it. The mother hippogriff was not far away and attacked Victoire to protect her nest. Luckily, Victoire only had cuts and bruises and was not seriously injured. She has been afraid of them ever since.
Victoire was sorted into Gryffindor house like the many Weasleys before her. There, she met friends Jade Carmichael, Emmett Bones, and Matthew Chang. By her 3rd year, Victoire began to understand the effects of her limited veela powers. Being 1/8th veela meant that Victoire could use her beauty to influence others and she attracted attention everywhere she went. As she got older, this information inflated her ego. She could often be seen strutting through the halls of Hogwarts with at least three boys following her. She often had them complete homework assignments for her. During Hogsmeade weekends, they often bought her sweets from Honeydukes and her lunch from the Three Broomsticks.
As she grew into an adult, she began to realize that she could attract some of the wrong attention. While in the muggle world, she was often catcalled by men young and old. Men often tried to touch her, uninvited. She learned to never go anywhere alone. It took her years to learn how to forcefully reject their uncomfortable advances. This almost never happened in the Wizarding world; most people knew she was a Weasley and were too afraid to do something that would anger her family.
While her outside appearance is almost perfect, Victoire is not. She is a very messy person, something that often drove her mother mad. She is extremely disorganized, and her bedroom usually looks like a tornado blew through it. She also cannot cook to save her life. Her grandmother, Molly, had always tried to teach her when she was young, but Molly regularly had to put out the fires that she had somehow started. She is not allowed within a foot of the kitchen at the Burrow.
After graduating Hogwarts, Victoire enrolled in Healer school. She had always liked helping people. In her 4th year, she became Madam Pomfrey’s assistant in the hospital wing. She learned the healing spells quickly and her best subject was potions.
When not in her green St. Mugo’s scrubs (they did away with the robes a few years ago, they were bulky and impractical), she keeps up with the latest fashion trends. She loves getting dressed up and looking good. Her Aunt Gabrielle sends her and Dominique the newest fashions from France. It is rare to find her with a hair out of place. She takes a lot of pride in her appearance, to the point that some call her vain.
Victoire and her siblings spent parts of their summers in France with their maternal grandparents. All three of them speak French fluently. Victoire enjoys Wrock bands Hawthorn & Holly and Hogwarts Trainwreck. She also likes muggle bands ImagineDragons and Queen.
Victoire currently lives in a flat in Diagon Alley with her friends from Hogwarts. She is unattached, romantically, although she and Matthew Chang seem to flirt constantly.
