The Mission
Life was peaceful (somehow) for once in Camp-Half Blood, well as peaceful as it can be with prone accident Demigods. After the war, there was a lot of cleaning up and fixing, but thanks to the Romans, it was faster. The Demigods were hoping for this peace to last for some time but alas for some Demigods this wasn’t the case (It never is)
“ANOTHER ONE?” The Demigods in the room all yelled once Chiron finished explaining. All of the Cabin’s head counselors, Frank, Hazel, And Calypso were sitting around the ping-pong table in the Big House as Chiron explained a new quest by Hecate.
“Fuck this shit I’m out,” Nico said as he started walking to the door grabbing Will along the way “Fuck this shit I’m out, Don’t mind me, I’ma just grab my shit and leave, Excuse me please”
“You are not going anywhere Nico” Annabeth said as she managed to stop Nico before he walked through the door, and kidnap Will.
“I am not about to do another quest,” Nico said as Will led him to his seat while Nico was too busy pouting to notice.
“This quest will be different from others you’ve completed in the past” Chiron said
“Define different” Jason said while other Demigods banged their hands onto the table hoping they could disappear from existence
“This time not only are you going to a magical school you’ll also have allies from the inside” Chiron explained while the Demigods gave him blank expressions (Even Nico after he finished pouting and realized he was sitting again and far from the door)
“A magical school?” Hazel asked slowly and she tried to process his word
“Yes, My dear Hazel it’s a school of Witchcraft and Wizardry called Hogwarts,” Hecate said as she appeared in the room. The room was filled with snorts and laughter when they heard the name.
Hecate paid no mind as she too once found it funny they called the school Hogwarts and continued with the details of the quest. “Long ago I blessed a few mortals with the power of Magic after they helped me. They are known as Wizards and Witches and as their kind grew a few of these Wizards started schools to help the younger generation”
“Why haven’t we heard of them then?” Calypso asked as she has lived longer than the other Demigods and even she has never heard of them.
“While they might not know Demigods exist they hide from Mortals and since they reside in Europe you have never encountered them. However, your friend Nico may be familiar with them” Hecate said and pointed to Nico
“Ugh don’t remind me,” Nico said as he played his head down on the table the rest of the Demigods started talking all at once.
“Nico, you knew about them?”
“How do you know about them?”
“Why didn’t you tell us?”
“After they die some wizards manage to evade the Underworld which causes a lot of headaches to Hades and sometimes to Nico if he is there when it happens. Also, you never asked him” Will answered for Nico and gave all of them a smile that promised death if they continue to bother Nico.
“Interesting to think that Wizards and Witches exist” Annabeth muttered under her breath and you could practically see the gears turning in her head.
“You’d think the daughter of the goddess of wisdom would know of such a thing” Travis whispered to Conner as he snickered before they quickly shut up when they earned a sharp glare from Percy (Annabeth was too busy thinking to hear them)
“Your mission is to pose as exchange students and protect the students of Hogwarts and the Wizarding world from a Wizard named Voldemort,” Hecate said and once again the room was filled with laughter
“Who named their child Voldemort? Points for creativity I guess” Leo said while laughing and even Hecate, Chiron, and Calypso were having a hard time trying not to laugh out loud.
“Well his name wasn’t originally Voldemort it was Tom Riddle,” Hecate said
“That’s even worse he chooses to call himself Voldemort,” Percy says and everyone starts dying from more laughter
“That’s a lot coming from you considering your name is Perseus,” Annabeth said and some Demigods started clutching their stomachs in pain from laughing too hard.
“First of all my name is Persassy,” Percy said will all the sass he could muster.
“Uncle come get your son,” Nico said “He’s going crazy”
“How does Voldemort look like?” Piper asked as everyone started quieting down. Hecate waved her hand and a mirage appeared.
“HOLY SWEET HELL HE IS FINE“
“His name might be Voldemort but GODDAMN”
“I WANT SOME OF THAT ON A SILVER PLATTER PLEASE AND THANK YOU”
“So like I’m free today at 8 just saying”
“Did someone say a fine ass person was here?” A voice said as the door of the Big House is kicked open.
“My door” Chiron yelled as fake tears started running down his face as he kneeled at the door. When the Demigods looked at the door 2 other people were standing at the door.
“Oh shit my bad anyways where’s the fine ass Dory was talking about,” The girl that kicked down the door said. She was around 5’6 and had dark brown hair that reached below her shoulder, her eyes were a beautiful shade of Sea - Green. The other girl that talked before they both came in was around 5’3, she had brown hair with pink on the bottom half. Her eyes were also Sea-Green like the other girls’ eyes were.
“Over there,” Midnight or Dory said as she pointed to the Mirage in front of Hecate
“GODDAMN” Melody or Ariel said
“Wait a minute is that Voldemort when he was younger” Midnight said and both she and Melody started crying tears of sadness
“What’s wrong?” Will asked and was about to stand up when Nico stopped him
“You’ll understand soon,” Nico said and proceeded to sit on Will to get his cuddles. (Will very happily complied)
“You see Voldemort looks a lot different now,” Hecate said and when she waved her hand the Mirage Changed to current Voldemort.
“Ewwwww wtf is that”
“Is that the rat I saw last week?”
“Zeus I think I found your twin brother”
“WTF”
“Ayo Rashta that you“
“Yo Endeavor come get your brother”
“Hermes, did you steal his nose?”
“Ayo doctor egghead that you”
“Okay calm down everyone,” Chiron said as the Demigods slowly calmed down
“What happened to him?” Piper asked looking deeply disturbed
“Shit happened,” Midnight said without missing a beat. Both Midnight and Melody sat down in 2 empty seats which were reserved for them since they had a bad habit of dropping by unannounced when meetings were going on
“So practically his name is Tom Marvolo Riddle he managed to escape death and for power, he split his soul into seven objects called Horcruxes which cost him his looks as you can see,” Nico said and pointed to the Mirage
“Mother thank you for making me pretty even if I don’t want to as long as I never look like him,” Piper said as she basically teleported to the corner of the room to pray to her mother.
“Could you also bless me I don’t wanna look like him” Annabeth said as she also looked like she teleported next to Piper
“No wonder we need to protect Hogwarts from him. He is a whole menace to society” Clarisse said
“Wait protect who from who?” Midnight asks
“13 of you Demigods have been chosen to go to Hogwarts the school of Magic to Protect it from Voldemort since he mostly targets them. You will leave tonight to go to London and take the train to Hogwarts” Hecate said before anyone can interrupt her because if they did they would never leave.
“13 Demigods?”
“Isn’t the normal number of Demigods 3?”
“You have already chosen who are they?”
“The Demigods that I have chosen are The Seven, Nico, Will, Thalia, Calypso, Midnight, and Melody. Please pack your bags and meet me at the barrier tonight. Bye” and with that Hecate left before the Demigods could protest.
“I’M SORRY WE’RE GOING ON A WHAT”
“HELL NO”
“I WOULD RATHER DIE”
“DAD I THINK I’M READY TO JOIN YOU IN THE UNDERWORLD”
“NOT WITHOUT ME YOU AREN’T”
“SOMEONE PLEASE KILL ME”
“Children calm down,” Chiron said as he tried to get the Demigods to calm down “If you are not the Demigods who were called then you may leave” And all the Demigods who weren’t called ran out the door as if their lives depended on it (Yes even Clarisse ran away)
“Traitors” Nico muttered under his breath
“You want us to calm down after you told us we are going on another quest,” Annabeth said
“Wait why am I going?” Will asked
“Why are WE going?” Midnight asked as she pointed at herself and Melody
“Cause apparently they want us to make some British kids cry,” Melody says
“You guys won’t make them cry you’ll make them question their entire life and whether they want to live or die,” Leo says looking at them
“Your point is?” Midnight asks looking at Leo
“You guys shouldn’t even be worried if your going to be okay or not” Leo answers
“We aren’t worried about whether we be okay or not I don’t wanna go because didn’t you hear Hecate we are going to school, SCHOOL it’s literally my worst enemy” Midnight says as she starts ranting about how she sucks at school and its boring
“Wait didn’t she say magic school as in wands and brooms,” Melody asks and Midnight stopped her ranting to look at Chiron along with the other Demigods.
“Yes in this school you will learn how to perform magic and other things unlike mortal school” Chiron explained after he stopped crying about his broken door.
“So no English class?” Percy asks
“No English classes” Chiron confirms
“No Math classes?” Midnight asks
“No Math classes” Chiron confirms again
“So … we’re learning brujería?” Melody asks
“Yes your learning bru- what you said I can’t pronounce that” Chiron confirms once again
“Never mind,” Melody says
“Okay we’re ready” Midnight, Melody, and Percy say at the same time as a stream of water comes in through the broken door with all their luggage in them already packed with everything they will need (There was also Annabeth’s stuff since Percy is a gentleman)
“I’m not even gonna ask how you do that,” Hazel says just as skeletons also walk into the room with Nico, Will’s, Hazel’s, and Frank’s stuff and sets them on the floor before disappearing. (The only reason Nico also got Franks stuff was because Hazel would have been mad if he only brought hers)
“Back to witches and wizard, And magical beast, To goblins and ghost, And to magical feast, It’s all that I love, And it’s all that I need-“ Melody sings before being interrupted
“What the heck are you singing?” Jason asks
“ExCuSeH mEh HoW dArE yOu InTeRrUpT mEh SiNgInG” Melody answers
“The Demigods who have already packed may do whatever they want until 8 everyone else go pack and at 8 meet us at the barrier,” Chiron says as the Demigods start to leave grumbling under their breaths he also adds “Thalia already knows and she will meet us there”
“I forgot Thalia was gonna come as well” Midnight whispers to both Nico and Melody
“Same” They responded as all the Demigods left the room
