Chapter 13
A year later the small family had moved into their home in the mountains of Austria. They gave Theseus his room which was close to theirs and filled with many toys and a big bed for him to grow into. Albus and Gellerts’ room was a lot bigger with a separate sitting room and offices for both of them connected to the room. Their bedroom was spacious but not overly large, most of the room being taken up by a large bed with burgundy covers and pillows in black cases. The walls, like the rest of the castle, is bare stone with various portraits hanging. Albus’ favorite portrait thought is in the main area and it was a recent addition that Gellert had commissioned of all three of them.
Albus was currently sitting in Gellerts office waiting for him to get back, Theseus was taking a nap. Gellert had gone out to a rally, the rallys were more Gellerts style while Alnus preferred to be more behind the scenes. In one year they had made tremendous progress in their cause, the one thing Abus hated was having to be away from Gellert for weeks at a time and Theseus was also starting to get upset about it. Albus stops spinning in the chair when the door opens “welcome home” he says and stands up and goes over hugging him.
Gellert hugs him back “Hello” he picks his now shorter lover up, “how were you and Theseus while I was gone?” Gellert had grown taller in the past year and was still growing a bit, Albus had hated that Gellert had gotten taller than him until he realized that he liked that he was more eye level with his blond lover when he picked him up. Albus smiles and kisses him again “we wish you were here more between running off to rally’s and meeting with officials.”
Gellert sits with him and hums “why didn’t you bring that up sooner Albus? I could leave some rally’s to Vida. She’s proven herself trustworthy” he the others back as he talks about one of their more devout followers, her and her muggle boyfriend had run away from Paris after her parents found out about them, seeking refuge here Albus’ soft spot couldn’t say no to letting them board here. Jonathan, the muggle, had been an amazing help with Theseus or so he hears, but Gellert had made it clear that he doesn’t want him alone with his son right now which the other understands. Gellert kisses Albus’ head as he lays it on the others shoulder and looks at the time “mm, where is our little gift?”
Albus hums “napping I just checked on him about 15 minutes ago”. They sit like that for a bit, without talking, just loving each other’s presence. Albus plays with Gellerts hair while Gellert plays with the hem of Albus’ shirt. Gellert turns to the window to look outside and instead gets a vision, a toddler curling behind the wing of an animal trying to keep warm. He turns back away and kisses Albus’ cheek “I hate to break the silence my love, but our terror is up”
“He isn’t a terror” Albus gets up and pulls him up. He knew Gellert acted like he does sometimes but he knew the blond actually loved them. They go to Theseus’ room and Albus picks him up “hi baby, look who’s home.” Gellert wraps his arms around Albus and kisses Theseus’ head, smiling a bit at the tired boys attempt to move to him.
“Apu” Theseus holds onto Gellert and lets the younger of his fathers take him into his arms. He lays his head down again and closes his eyes “missed apu..”. Gellert smiles and rocks their son, letting him fall back asleep. He sits in a chair in the boys room and rubs his back “I missed you too” he whispers “presents can wait until you wake up”. That catches the 7 year olds attention and he wakes up again immediately “presents!” He smiles and looks at Gellert “what did you get me apu!”
Gellert smiles a bit again “ok I’ll get them” he flicks his hand toward himself and after a minute a bag flies in. He opens it and brings out some toys, a train set with red cars and painted gold wheels, and a teddy bear. Theseus hugs the bear tightly when it waves to him by itself. Albus smiles as he also watches new books come out and float to the ever growing bookshelf in Theseus’ room, both of his parents did value knowledge and imagination after all. Gellert had brought some French books back this time such as “la petite sorcière” and “l'histoire du sorcier et du dragon” are the ones that he noticed out of them. There were most likely some non-fiction books Gellert brought home but he always focused more on childrens’ books for Theseus, since after all his own favorite book was a childrens’ book.
Gellert helps Theseus set up the train set and teaches him how to use it. As Gellert was distracted he tried to look at what else was in the bag, hoping his love also brought him something as interesting as a train set. Gellert quickly snatched the beg away from his hands “még nem szerelmem, várj” he went back to helping their son, keeping the bag by him. Now Albus was so curious about what he bought that he didn’t want him to have it now. He sits with them and plays for a bit, smiling.
After a bit with Albus being distracted by playing with Theseus, he didn’t know Gellert was looking at the window until Theseus looked at his younger father “Apu?” The boy tries to get his attention. Albus gently shakes Gellerts shoulder and hums when Gellert looks at him “you were having a vision?”
Gellert holds Albus’ hand and nods “I’ll tell you later, I had another one earlier while we were in my office but it was the same one as now” he kisses Albus’ hand to calm his worry “Es ist nichts Schlimmes, meine Liebe”. Gellert kisses Theseus’ head and gets up, picking up the bag with him “now I’m hungry, who wants a snack” he picks Theseus up when he stands up and holds Albus’ hand as they walk down to the kitchens. Gellert has a house elf to get them some sandwiches.

Later that night Albus and Gellert were sitting together on their couch. “I did get gifts for you” he summons the bag again, he takes out a box “here”. Albus takes it and opens it “oh Gellert it’s beautiful” he takes out the ring, it was a silver ring with gold detailing and three black diamonds, one large one on top and two small ones embedded in the sides, “but why, it’s not like we can get married”. Gellert takes the ring from him and puts it on his lover “because I can, and I want to see you in some jewelry” he kisses him. Albus pulls Gellert closer and lays on the couch, pulling the blond with him. Albus laughs into the kiss as Gellert goes to untuck his shirt.
Gellert pulls Albus shirt up and starts to kiss down his neck. Albus laughs some more and pushes his head up a bit “nope, before that we are talking about your vision”. He laughs more as Gellert groans and sits up “right now? I was in the middle of something”. Gellert lays with him and kisses his shoulder “fine, it was a little boy, dirty blond, maybe one or two and he was covered in snow in barely any clothes, trying to keep warm in some type of animals’ wings.” He looks at Albus “there, I told you now can we get back to welcoming me back?”
Albus pulls Gellert close and kisses him again “fine, but we’re talking more tomorrow” he lets Gellert pull him up and to the bed. “Good because I missed you and you won’t be sleeping tonight” he kisses him again and pulls their clothes off. Gellert kisses down his neck and body, listening to his lover moaning. He pulls Albus closer to him and kisses along his thighs, biting along them and looking up at him.
After a bit he goes back up to Albus’ head and kisses along his neck to his ear “how much did you miss me”
“Too much”
“Enough that you are already ready for me” Gellert smirks and slides into his lover, he loved that about Albus, always being prepared for the expected. He starts thrusting into him, pulling the red heads legs onto his shoulders. He listens to Albus moan and kisses his neck “you sound so amazing when you’re moaning my name” he picks up his pace and groans himself.
Albus holds onto him tightly and keeps moaning “f-fu-gellert!” He closes his eyes as Gellert finds his prostate. He arches his back and moans more as Gellert starts going faster, thrusting directly into his prostate. Albus starts to feel closer to his orgasm and his voice starts getting higher.

Just as the sun starts to peek through their windows Gellert rolls off of Albus and smiles a bit, catching his breath. Albus holds Gellerts hand still as he calms down “Merlin..”. Gellert huffs and bites his lip nodding, he pulls Albus onto him to lay down and pulls the covers over them “Mm, we can get a couple hours of sleep before our, darling and not at all bratty, son wakes up” he laughs as Albus gives him a half hearted hit with a stinging Jinx “you forget I enjoy pain.” Gellert closes his eyes and yawns.
It’s a few hours until they’re woken up by Theseus running in with two nanny’s running after him trying to catch him. Albus smiles as the boy jumps on their bed and scrambled between them “good morning baby..” Theseus smiles and cuddles into them “morning daddy!” He looks at Gellert “apu isn’t up yet, he’s always up early”
Albus hums “it’s ok Gina sand Thomas I have him, thank you though for trying to stop him but you two can go” he hums as they bow and leave “your apu and I had a late night, and your apu is redicoulus telling people to bow to me” he kisses the boys head. He yawns and smiles as Theseus closes his eyes again and starts to fall asleep. He lets himself fall back asleep after he’s certain Theseus had.

When Albus wakes up again he notices that he’s alone in bed, then he hears the door open and voices whispering and smiles a bit, imagining what the loves of his life were up to this time. He yawns and sits up, opening his eyes to see a tray of food floating over to him and he smiles. “Happy birthday daddy!” Theseus climbs back on the bed and hugs him. Albus laughs and kisses his head “oh thank you baby..and I see you two made it yourselves”
Gellert hums and sits on the bed kissing him “it’s edible..just not pretty like you can do”. Albus kisses back and smiles “it’s the thought that counts for me” he eats his breakfast and shares with them. “Since it’s quite nice out today and the summer is going to be over soon, how about we go for a nice day out in the town near us.” Albus hums and leans on Gellert.
Gellert nods “that’s an amazing idea my love, I’ll get Theseus ready to go out today while you get dressed” he kisses him again and picks Theseus up “alright let’s go get dressed” he brings him out of the room.
As they walked in the woods, down the mountain, Albus and Gellert were holding hands while watching Theseus run a few yards in front of them, reminding him every so often not to get too far ahead. Albus lays his head on Gellert “you said in your vision it was snowing, do you think that could happen this winter, and what importance does the baby have in just showing him.” He hums as Gellert laughs a bit at his talking. “I don’t know Albus, there’s no rhyme or reason to my visions, I just have them. Sometimes they’re important, sometimes they aren’t. With this one, we won't be able to tell until it happens to us.”
When they get to the town Albus lets go of Gellerts hand but they walk close together so their hands Bruce every so often. Albus holds Theseus’ hand since thanks to the boys’ hair color and eyes looks like he’s related more to Albus even if his hair isn’t fully red it’s a light enough brown to seem red in some lighting. They look around some shops and Albus picks up some yarn and brings it to the front. Gellert had gone off somewhere else in the town, probably to find a last minute gift on top of the mountain he already had for Albus. The shopkeeper smiles and hands Theseus a lolli “Babysitten und Einkaufen für die Frau? sie muss dich sehr lieben.” She smiles and calculates the total. Albus laughs a bit awkwardly “äh, nein, ich habe keine Frau, nur ihn und mich” he picks Theseus up and puts the lolli in the boys mouth as he was about to say something, possibly about Gellert.
The shopkeeper gasps “Oh, es tut mir so leid, ich wollte keine schlechten Erinnerungen wecken, wenn ich es getan habe." Albus assumes she must think that Albus was a widower. “Es ist okay. Wie viel für mein Garn?” He pays for the yarn and takes it, leaving with Theseus in his arms. He meets up with Gellert at a small dinner in the town and hums “I had another shopkeeper think I Was a window”. Gellert hums and looks at the menu “soon this town will know the truth my love, I’m working out the plan with the minister who ironically is also a wizard.”
