That was a day to remember.
The marauders were in the living room at the Potter's house in Godric's Hollow, all tasting the freshly baked cookies made by Peter, they were enjoing the sweet smell of spring in the air when in the muggle radio, brought by Sirius, without any presentation a new song with a slow and calm melody started to play, everyone was quiet for a second, then the familiar voice of John Lennon appears, it was beautiful, so soft, everyone was absorb by the lyrincs, but James, he melt into them, without hesitating he pick up Harry from the floor where he was sitting in silence looking at the adults wondering why they all stop playing with him, Harry looked at his father with glittery green eyes, James start rock him humming the melody of Beautiful boy huging Harry thight, he didn't object, he was so happy for his father attention and could see the love in his eyes, Lily was staring at her boys with a smile and her eyes were watering a little bit, they need this moments of happines after all, when the song stoped and everything stay in a confortable silence, they stared at James who was hiding his head in Harry's back, they had miss so bad those moments, they wish they could forget everything about the world and freezze this seconds that feels like hours, and it looked like that was happening, no one moved, no one talked or make any sound, just trying to process all the feelings they were having, Lily even let go a little tear from her eyes, they were so into the moment until Harry pull himself from his father's neck with a little loud giggle, everyone magically went out of their trance and looked at the child who was wiping the tears from under his father's glasses, with a chukle James lifted his son and looked around to his family with a bright smile only he could own.
Sirius was the firts to try to cut the moment with a stupid joke about how bad the cookies were that make him cry, Lily laughed, same as James, and Remus just shook his head and start to complement the cookies, so Peter nod in confidence starting a little fight with Sirius, knowing all was a game. They didn't talk about how great that moment was, they didn't need to, because after all those years they feel their hearts as one, one big love that envolves them in harmony, they didn't need to say anything, they knew.
