Eye of the Storm [FANART]

“Draco,” Harry whimpered weakly, latching on to him, hiding his face in Draco’s chest and whining low in his throat as though to will the screams away.

“You’re doing so well, Harry.” He held the boy close, wishing he could curl completely around him, hide him, keep him safe from his own past. But all he could do was murmur, over and over, “You’re doing so good. It’s almost over. You’re almost home.”

Sobbing against Draco’s jumper—his arms twining around Draco’s waist as the light bulb, too, faded out of existence—Harry nodded and squeezed his eyes shut.

As Harry searched for Draco’s touch, they began to float away from what’d once been the cupboard and through the spiral of memories threatening to suffocate them.
