Since joining Team Primal, Pandora found herself spending a lot of time in her room. The grunt rooms were small, with just enough room for a shitty desk, bed and the tiniest bit of floor space. It would have probably given someone with claustrophobia a panic attack but it was enough of a living space to be functional.
It had only been about a month since leaving Stephanie in Johto, a little over a month since Night Light had died. It had become incredibly hard over this course of time to convince herself to do anything. Even now relented herself to the floor, legs pulled up to her chest and chin resting on her knees. She did nothing more than just stare off into space with the light in her room left on.
Pandora would have stayed there until she was needed for a mission or absolutely had to get up if Lula didn’t make such a consistent habit of bothering her. Who knows how long she had been seated there when the admin in question made her appearance, simply teleporting into the room, standing directly on Pandora’s bed and looking down at her with a displeased expression.
“Pandora, what the hell are you doing?” Lula questioned, her eyes narrowed down the woman who pulled herself out of her self-loathing just enough to look up at Lula. She was about equally as unimpressed as she gave a bitter “What does it look like?” It took everything not to slip a few insults in there for good measure, but she didn’t have the energy to get into an argument with the woman right now.
“It looks like your fucking brooding again. What is this crap anyways, I bring you into Team Primal and all you’ve done is hole up in your room when you’re not needed for something or being pulled out by me.” Lula immediately began to complain, hopping off the bed and onto the little bit of floor space before turning around to look at Pandora. “When Naomi mentioned you as teenagers she mentioned a total bitch who would make herself useful, not whatever… this is.”
Pandora, eyes still trained on Lula proceeded to glare. Not at all appreciating the lecture being send in her direction, she wanted absolutely no part in it. She could argue all she wanted with Lula and not get anywhere. She again didn’t have the energy for it and simply let out a scoff. “Why are you here Lula?” She questioned instead, head still rested on her knees as she simply looked up at the angry woman glaring down at her.
“You know damn well why I’m down here, why am I ever down here?” Lula stated with an expression that practically radiated ‘you’ve gotta be kidding me.’ Though the statement only seemed to prompt a full-on frown directed in Lula’s direction.
“I’m not in the mood.”
“Bullshit, you’re not in the mood. You just want to sit on the floor and wallow in your own self-pity, it’s pathetic.” Lula snapped, seeming to decide she wasn’t taking no for an answer. ”Get up.”
Pandora did no more than glare at her from her spot on the floor, making no move to stand up It was enough to prompt an irritated sigh from Lula who finally closed the little distance between the two of them. Offering her hand to Pandora, even going as far wiggle her fingers in front of Pandora’s face to try and prompt her to move. Giving the woman a frown to play up the dramatics. ”Please. I promise I don’t have ulterior motives.”
Pandora stared at Lula’s hand for a few moments, contemplating before reluctantly taking her hand and allowing herself to be pulled up to her feet with an irritated, “Now what?”
“ Now, you get to shadow me for the day seeing as you’re not doing anything productive today and I’d like the company.” Lula simply stated, a triumph grin on her face as she proceeded to literally pull Pandora out of the room by the wrist. She didn’t bother complaining or trying to decline, there was no point.
