Episode 5: Sihyeon: Good Cop AND Bad Cop
Yuna's trip to Japan wasn't much better than the rest of the week. Trying to remember which parts of Lia's she was supposed to sing the changes to the choreography were wearing on her. Yeji also wasn’t in the best of moods either. But no matter which job she was doing, Yuna always did her best to be delightful, even while getting through the hard times. What other 19-yr old Kpop spy could say that?
Still, she wasn’t in a good place. Losing Lia, even though she saved her, turned her Kpop world upside down. But, she had three sisters going through the exact same thing, so they worked through it together. The other dark clouds hanging over her surrounded this new part of her though, and she felt very alone. Being restrained and stimulated in a giant metal machine because she tended to be a bit too horny. Also, getting eaten out on camera in a breakroom by a girl that she had trouble getting out of her head. Then there was her first hand-to-hand kill. She couldn’t get the blood out of her head either.
She wasn’t sure what was going to greet her today at headquarters, so on her way out of her apartment, she got a sugary coffee-like drink for the bus ride. It takes fuel to be delightful…
After arriving and spending a few minutes in her room at headquarters, Yuna found Sihyeon in the practice room. She opened the door and quietly went inside. Apparently unphased by Yuna’s 'stealth', without even turning around Sihyeon said, "Finally come for sparring practice?"
"I guess... Are you going to pretend I'm that punching bag?"
"Of course. Did your trip go okay without Lia?"
“Yeah, it was okay. The first event was a bit of a mess, but we got everything straightened out after that.”
Yuna took off her jacket, standing there in sweatpants and a tee shirt. "I never know how to take you, you switch from good cop to bad cop by the second."
"Correct..." Sihyeon pointed to the mat-lined floor in the center. "Let me grab your leg like that security guy did. That is what we are going to practice today. Are you still in any martial arts classes?"
"No... not since I debuted... There just isn't time..." Yuna picked up her left leg and Sihyeon grabbed it, holding it by her side.
"Good cop Sihyeon going to get frisky with my leg up like this?"
With the speed of a ninja, Sihyeon used the control she had of Yuna's leg and hips to push her backwards into the wall. The walls were also lined with mats, but Yuna was surprised at the sudden movement and hit it hard with her butt and shoulders.
"Oww..."
"You're dead." Sihyeon let go of her and backed to the middle of the mat, motioning for her to come forward. "Again..."
Yuna walked forward to her and lifted her leg again. 'Fine... no more joking...' she thought to herself.
"You have your weapon on you?"
Yuna pulled her weapon from a hidden holster on her raised ankle.
"Good. Shoot me..." Sihyeon grabbed her leg and rammed her backward into the wall again, also making sure the elbow of the arm holding the weapon hit the wall mat hard. Yuna dropped the gun. This time she also hit her head hard on the mat. Sihyeon let go and Yuna lost her balance and fell over, landing on her knees and elbows. "You have a gun and you are still dead."
Sihyeon backed again. Yuna picked up her gun and got up. Most of Yuna's daily delightfulness had disappeared, so much for the sugar and caffeine.
Sihyeon didn't bother grabbing her leg this time. She charged Yuna, easily knocking the gun aside and knocking her onto her butt. Yuna's head hit the floor mat this time. "Why did you even come in here if you are just going to lie on the floor and cry? Where did Kitty Cat go? You are so surrounded in emotion that you can't even get angry at me and fight?"
Yuna sat up, now tears running down her face. She just sat there, cross-legged, unable to do anything but cry.
Sihyeon walked up to her and sat cross-legged in front of her. "Talk to me."
Sobbing, she said, "Everything is a lot right now. Everything I thought I was good at, I'm clearly not. I don't even know what to do. And I’m totally alone feeling it all. Hug me?"
"Fuck you... no good cop here. Get over yourself. You are now one of the most important people in Korea, if not the world. In BOTH of your professions. You chose this. Right now, I'll let you sit here and cry. You have five minutes. Then you are going to get up and I'm going to beat the crap out of you until you get angry and at least TRY to fight back."
Sihyeon expected her to fly at her, or at least try to shoot her right then, but instead Yuna just sat on the floor crying. Sihyeon went back to beating on the punching bag. "I'm counting..."
With thirty seconds to spare, Yuna fetched her gun and got up again. She walked to the center of the mat and held up her leg, signaling for Sihyeon that she was ready. "You have no right to beat the crap out of me and I won't let you. Original lesson please."
Sihyeon nodded and grabbed her leg again. Without warning she accelerated forward, again driving Yuna back into the wall. Unexpectedly, Yuna dropped her weapon on her own, and then used her right leg to flip over top of Sihyeon. Sihyeon had to choose between letting go of her leg or being thrown to the mat herself. She held on and they tumbled to the ground together.
Sihyeon let go. "Not bad, but you aren't going to be able to do that to a 130 kg man. Try again."
Yuna finally did what Sihyeon wanted, she clicked, or maybe cracked. From the ground, she lunged toward Sihyeon's head, putting her long arm around it squeezing hard, keeping control of Sihyeon's torso from behind. Sihyeon said, "You can't hurt me. Give it all you have. Let it all out, Yuna."
With a scream, Yuna pulled as hard as she could on Sihyeon's neck, arching her back, determined to put all she had into the move. Sihyeon reached behind Yuna's head and grabbed her pony tail, jerking her head and forcing her to let go of Sihyeon's neck. "Good... but you don't want to grapple on the ground with a 130 kg man either. Get up and use what you've been taught. Taekwondo is not rolling around on the mat, it is an art form. You know better than anyone how to put your entire being into your art. Channel all of your emotion into this one performance."
They both stood up. Yuna launched an impressive flurry of kicks toward Sihyeon. Sihyeon easily blocked each one, but at least she had to work a bit. "Good… Give me your leg again."
Yuna raised her leg and Sihyeon drove her back into the mat. "No..." scolded Sihyeon. They both reset.
"Give me your leg."
After a dozen or so tries, Yuna finally discovered a way to get out of the hold, kick the person holding her leg with the other foot and maintain enough distance to get a shot off.
After twenty minutes of this, Yuna sat down on the mat, exhausted, again crying.
"You did well..." said Sihyeon. "If we ignore that little episode at the beginning. You are very teachable and have some talent at taekwondo. You will be fine."
She sat there sobbing again.
"Yuna, your emotions are what give you your empathy and make you extremely good at this job. You can feel what someone else is feeling and you should never lose that. But when it comes to your own emotions, you need to cry when it is the time to cry, but you only fight when it is the time to fight. No mixing them up. I'm going to use your weaknesses against you, just like every bad guy. Only because I want you to stay alive. Do you understand what I'm saying to you?"
Yuna gave Sihyeon a glare of death, never having encountered someone like this before.
Sihyeon said, "You have had enough of me today. Go to sensory training."
Yuna kept glaring. "What? Now? Like this?"
"You heard me..."
Yuna got to her feet, grabbed her jacket, and slammed the door to the practice room on her way out.
Sihyeon went back to hitting the punching bag as though the last thirty minutes never happened.

She got herself together and made her way to visit Dahyun. She boldly walked into the room and said, "Machine, let's go!"
Dahyun got quite excited. "I altered the program a bit, I hope it doesn't make you fail early again," she snickered.
Yuna stared at her with laser beams. Dahyun pretended like she had to cough.
Yuna stripped off her sweatpants and sweatshirt. She saw Dahyun staring at her, waiting for her to take off the rest.
"You obviously get super turned on watching me do this."
Dahyun pushed her glasses onto her nose properly and looked at the ground. “No. It is all for science. And your safety, of course.”
"Do you ever get on the machine after I'm finished and you are all turned on?" asked Yuna. She made a show of taking off her bra sensually and then twirled it around, followed by massaging her breast a bit.
"No, it isn't safe for me to do it alone. Besides, I'm not a field spy, I'm not going to get tortured and can just cum whenever I want."
"Shame," said Yuna. "I'll stay here with you sometime if you want to try it for yourself."
"You would do that for me?" Dahyun asked.
Yuna pulled down her panties and when they fell to her feet, she gathered them on the front of one foot and flipped it to Dahyun. It landed in right front of her. She tried to ignore the panties on the floor, but Yuna caught her sneaking a peek. "Of course. Sure, you aren't being tortured? Watching you squirm is fun." Yuna uncharacteristically had to get out a bit of the things Sihyeon made her feel earlier. Picking on Dahyun could work…
"Get on the damn machine," said Dahyun, not having any of it.
Yuna sighed at another failed plan and climbed on. Dahyun locked her in and put on the helmet. Just before starting the machine, she texted Sihyeon that Yuna was there, as requested.
Dahyun had to take some extra time making sure the new bells and whistles were all ready to go. Yuna, unable to hear how loud her voice was, screamed “What’s taking so long?” With a nod, confident everything was good to go, Dahyun hit ‘go’. The machine started and Yuna whimpered, but carefully controlled her breathing and vowed to beat the sensations.
She was ‘in the zone’ for five minutes. At that point things ramped up and Yuna usually gives her first moan around now as it hits her. Dahyun changed the program a bit, she liked hearing Yuna vocalize her pleasure, so she tried a more 'on again, off again' program after five minutes. It would hit her hard and then back way off, and then hit her a bit harder, and then back way off. Every time this happened, Yuna moaned. Dahyun could tell that everything was working perfectly as they were exactly 30 seconds apart.
She thought about what Yuna said. Maybe she was torturing herself also, Dahyun getting more turned on with every moan.
At eight minutes, Dahyun tried something else new. She was experimenting with some new AI technology. The goal of this part was to keep Yuna on the edge. The system kept careful record of her vital signs and used AI to figure out when she was getting close to orgasm. Then it would back off. Then get her close, and then back off. It is a crazy, intense tease, assuming it would all work as planned.
Yuna tried to enjoy the sensations, rather than get frustrated by them, and did not press the button. She was confident she beat her previous time, but kept focusing. Then the program changed again. It backed way off, just light stimulation to her clit, but intense nipple stimulation that Yuna absolutely loved. She also thought for sure she felt something teasing her thighs, but assumed it was an artifact of all of the crazy stimulation that was going on.
Next in store was some random stimulation, high, low, medium, no pattern, impossible to tell how much time was passing. And that was too much for Yuna. She pressed the button.
Her lower body and abs tensed as she came, screaming loudly. Juices started leaking out of the crotch part of the machine as it came to a stop.
Dahyun took off the helmet. "12.5 minutes! Great job!"
Yuna was shocked to see Sihyeon standing between her legs, massaging Yuna's still spasming thighs. Sihyeon and Dahyun helped get her wrists and ankles free.
Sihyeon had put a rug on the floor below the machine. She motioned for Yuna to come sit. Yuna smiled and sat on Sihyeon's lap, and put her head on her shoulder and started sobbing. Sihyeon pet Yuna’s hair and kept stroking her thighs.
"What are you doing?" she asked after she stopped crying.
"You clearly needed some 'after-care' after everything that happened this week. Don't get used to it."
Yuna gave her a huge hug, her lanky naked body wrapped around Sihyeon, “Cuddles! You are the best… I mean worst… handler ever... Dahyun cuddles!”
Dahyun said, “Overrated…”
Sihyeon said, “Something you said earlier really bothered me. You aren’t alone. In face, my sole task right now is making sure you aren’t alone. I know we have only known each other for two weeks, but I’m always here for you.”
Yuna appreciated what Sihyeon was saying. It was the literal job of her ‘handler’, to do all the things she couldn’t do alone. But… Sihyeon was a lot… She pried herself off of Sihyeon and got up and went to the shower.

After getting cleaned up, Yuna met Sihyeon in the briefing room. “Any news around here while I was gone?”
“Yeah. The Boss is not quite ready to tell us specifics, but they have some leads. There is another matter you need to deal with first, though. Miriam is asking to talk to you.”
“That’s fine, set it up. I’ll talk to her.”
“What are you going to say?”
“I have no idea?”
“Let’s talk about it.”
“What is there to talk about?”
“Don’t get snippy with me. We need to talk about it.”
Yuna just looked at her.
“She knows you are some sort of special agent. So, your cover is already blown. All she needs to do is see you on Inkigayo and then your cover is doubly blown.”
“Do you want me to just ignore her? Don’t go talk to her?”
“I didn’t say that. I also don’t really know how much she has been told about her time with that company. Everything that happened… Don’t make things harder for her.”
“She would be perfect to work for us? It seems we are getting into the drone business and she knows drones.”
“She might be. But you know it takes weeks of testing and background checks. And she isn’t even from Korea.”
“Her English would be an asset, like Jennie and Rose.”
“Yuna… I’m just saying, be careful. This could ruin everything for both of you.”
Yuna left the room.

Her appointment with Miriam was the next day. Yuna met her in a hotel that they used for sensitive meetings like this, ‘staff’ entrance in the back and a ‘service’ elevator to all floors.
Yuna slid her keycard into the lock and entered the hotel room. Miriam was sitting on the side of the bed. She smiled brightly when Yuna walked in. Yuna went to sit on the side of the bed next to her.
“You came!” said Miriam.
“Of course I came. Is everything okay?”
“I don’t know. But all that I do know... is... the last week I couldn’t stop thinking about you. You’re just… so hot… and I can’t get you out of my head.”
“It’s okay, half of Korea and much of the world thinks I’m hot.”
“What?” asked Miriam.
Yuna closed her eyes and then rolled them at herself. ‘Maybe Sihyeon was right. I haven’t said anything that dumb to anyone, ever,’ she though. “Nevermind. I’ve thought a lot about you also.”
Miriam grabbed Yuna’s hand, and put both of their hands on Yuna's thigh. Yuna put Miriam’s hand nicely back on her own thigh and let go. “You have a fiancé, who is the reason you came to Korea. And I can’t have a relationship. So don’t ruin yours.”
“You are some sort of government agent?”
“Yes, some sort.”
“You can’t tell me?”
Yuna shook her head ‘no’.
“Is your name even Jiwon?”
Yuna shook her head ‘no’.
“And you can’t tell me what it is?”
“You can call me Jiwon, or Kitty Cat.”
“Kitty Cat? Your spy name is Kitty Cat?” Miriam giggled.
Yuna said, “Do you have a new job lined up? My employers might be able to use an English-fluent drone expert.”
“Oh, really?”
“Yeah, it isn’t trivial to get a job with us. It takes weeks and a lot of difficult testing. And you will have a life of secrets you will need to keep from your loved ones. Keep that all in mind before you even consider such a thing.”
“But I can maybe see you again, if I do?”
“Yes, but do this for yourself, not anyone else.”
Miriam nodded.
Yuna gave her a quick hug. ‘I think that went well’, she thought, and went back to headquarters.

The Boss called everyone in for a briefing. Yuna and Sihyeon arrived in the briefing room first.
Sihyeon asked, “Well, did you spill all of our secrets?”
“Her subconscious remembers eating me out and now she has the hots for Yuna. But who doesn’t, right?”
Sihyeon sighed loudly.
“Okay, time for business! I want to know what’s going on with this case,” demanded Yuna.
One-Wiz entered the room, followed shortly after by the Boss.
"We think we found this Chung character. There have been some sightings of someone matching his description in Guro-gu industrial area," explained the boss.
"Any leads on who was buying the weapon systems?" asked Yuna.
"No evidence that anyone bought the gas delivery system, but we are still working on some leads. I'm confident something will come of it soon."
One-Wiz laid a briefcase on the table, "I have a present for you."
Yuna looked at him with one eye. "Your bias was Minju, I can tell."
"You don't know what you're talking about it. Please focus." He opened the briefcase. There was a weapon very similar to those that Yuna usually used for her darts, with two different-looking darts. "This is a mini-EMP weapon. I only have two darts right now, we are producing more. You have to use them in this gun, although you can put your usual injection darts in here as well. The weapon charges the dart, then when it hits something, it makes a small electromagnetic pulse. It should take down a drone in flight. It will also mess with the power supply of computers, making them reboot, or even frying for good, depending on where it hits. You need to be careful though, it is likely to corrupt solid-state or even magnetic storage. So, if there is something you want on the computer, or drone, don't hit it."
"You're wordy. Maybe your bias was Yena. Chatty chatty chatty."
One-Wiz totally ignored her. "The darts are a bit bigger, so the range might not be as good, but accuracy shouldn't suffer."
"Thank you, One-Wiz. I will use it well," admitted Yuna, still annoyed he was so serious all of the time.

The next day, Yuna came back to headquarters in the afternoon for the operation. She spent some time studying the satellite images and Dahyun helped her get into her suit. She made her way to the loading dock, just as the car pulled up to her.
The driver ‘rolled down’ the window. “Ready?” he asked.
“Yessir!” she said excitedly, and ran around to the passenger side and got into the car.
“How are you today?” she asked with a cute smile.
He tried not to, but totally smiled back at her. “You know… driving…”
“What if I made your day delightful by having the opportunity to drive ME somewhere?”
“What if?”
“Yes, what if…”
“No, what if?”
Yuna looked less delightful and more frustrated. “Someday I will have a proper conversation with you.”
He didn’t say anything back.
As the sun was setting, they arrived in the area she studied before she left and the driver found a convenient, yet inconspicuous spot to drop her off, and pick her up after the operation.
Yuna wanted to blend in with the few people mulling around the industrial complex, so she tied up her hair well and put it under a backwards baseball cap. She had her helmet in her backpack if she needed night vision, but so far, the area was quite well lit. She slung the backpack over both shoulders and went for a walk.
She wandered around outside, verifying what she saw in the satellite images and decided which building was the one Chung was seen going in and out of. It was a non-descript warehouse, one of many and not much of a surprise in the industrial district of Seoul.
Yuna approached the door, carefully looking around to make sure the coast was clear. She pulled her lockpicks and picked both locks on the door in a few seconds, "Not shy, not shy... Itzy," she hummed. She then turned on her in-ear. "I'm going inside, pirate. Will have to be quiet when I'm in there."
"Copy that, Kitty Cat. I’m here if you need me."
She entered the warehouse and carefully closed the door behind her. The entrance of the building had a bit of an office area framed out. To the left were several doors along the hallway leading to small rooms. She didn’t have time to explore them though, just after entering she saw someone dart down the hallway into the main area of the warehouse.
She followed carefully and heard the whine of quite a few drones ahead. ‘Well, this is the place, that familiar whir…’ she thought...
The inside of the warehouse was slightly lit by the lights in the offices. There were also LED lights lining the hallway, though dim she could see fairly well.
She kept moving forward. When she made it to the large warehouse area, she saw a form dart across the main part of the warehouse and exit through a door at the far side. It seemed to be a very large open room, with a loft along one side. There were also metal structures in the very center of the room. Without thinking, she sprinted forward to follow. When she was half-way across the room, four intense spot lights on two story tall scaffolding turned on, aimed right at her. It blinded her for a few seconds and she stopped in her tracks. She also realized about a dozen drones were circling, various cameras and weapons pointed at her.
Yuna pulled out her new weapon and prepared to shoot the highest priority threat, the closest drone that appeared to have several guns mounted to it. Even though she doubted any hovering drone that small could fire more than one shot with any accuracy. The cameras might have been the real weapons. Instead, she saw the power cords to the spotlights leading to an electrical box on the ceiling. She shot a dart at that box.
Her new weapon made an interesting noise and shocked her a bit as it fired. She nearly dropped the gun in surprise and cursed at One-Wiz. The dart itself hit the junction box square in the center and burst into a spray of sparks followed by a loud pop and larger burst of sparks from the box itself. All four lights shut off.
She had several options, now. Follow the person out the back, investigate the drones, or just call it good and get out of there. She figured following at this point was a bad idea, also it was likely the drones would switch to IR mode and still be able to follow her or shoot at her in seconds. So, she decided to make her way out. She rolled to the ground, spun around and went back out the way she came in.
She was just about to open one of the office doors, when indeed she heard a pair of drones coming down the hallway toward her. She opened the main door and closed it quickly behind her. “I’m done in there Pirate, very strange. Tell the driver I’m ready for ex-fil.”
“Copy that Kitty Cat. Are you okay?”
“Yeah, I’m good. Though I got shocked by my new toy… His bias is totally Wonyoung, I’m SURE of it now…”
She carefully made her way to the pick-up spot, using the now widening dusk shadows to stay totally out of sight. She met the driver and they hurried back to headquarters.

After getting out of her suit, she met with Sihyeon and the Boss in the briefing room.
The boss asked, "What do you think that was?"
"I'm not sure, but it was clearly the right place."
"Yuna, I'm pretty sure he set you up. That was totally a trap," said Sihyeon.
"To what end? If it was a trap, I should be dead. I'm not convinced."
“The cameras?” asked the boss.
“My hair was totally hidden under my baseball cap, I was wearing no makeup and baggy clothing over my suit and a backpack. No way they could tell who I was.”
"I don't know, but I'm beginning to think this Chung, or whoever we are dealing with here are much more sophisticated in crime doings than we suspected. I'm going to bump up the priority on this one, so we can have more resources. And we should get you a partner for these local missions."
"A what?" asked Yuna, eyes big as saucers.
