Remus had just come home from work and the first thing he did was go straight to the garage, where the guys were. He was very nervous, next week was going to be his first night playing in front of so many people, however, he was used to people staring at him constantly, his scars always stood out, he tried to hide some of them with his sweaters, but he couldn't do anything with the ones he had on his face, especially with the one one that went from his eyebrow to his lip. But this time, maybe, people would look at him differently, he wasn't so sure about it, and if that wasn’t the case, he wouldn't care, he learned not to give a shit about what other people said or thought of him.
He went to the garage and there were the boys, James was making sure his guitar was tune, Sirius was playing the drums, he had said he could play them too, according to Remus that really went with his vibe, Sirius looked like the kind of guy who would play the drums, he mostly wore leather jackets, and his hair was incredibly long, and super shiny, he was also extremely handsome. Peter was in a corner, with his computer, seeing if they had a chance to play somewhere else, he never rested, without him everything would be a real mess.
When they saw Remus enter the garage, Sirius got up and went to get his guitar and stood in front of the microphone, and James told him where to stand. They gave him a list of the song they were going to play, Remus knew a couple of them and it sounded really good when he played it with the other guys, but he felt like something was missing. They spent two hours playing, until Marlene arrived, and when they started playing, finally everything sounded good.
Marlene and the other three guys seemed to have an amazing chemistry, sometimes being there made Remus feel like he didn't belong with those people or in that place, he didn’t knew how he had end it up there.
He had five days to learn all the songs he didn't know, and perfect the ones he already knew. The next few days were amazing, he bonded more with everyone and even after practice he was still playing in his room, he couldn't remember how much he missed playing the bass, it helped him forget about all his problems, and getting lost in the music was just amazing, plus it made him feel like he was a little bit good at something, he didn't have to try so hard, he had it in his bones, in his heart, it was something he loved, taught by someone he loved.
