Long Lost Ties
Remus had made you 3 some more tea, and you got to ask each other as many questions as you could, so you started off with “So you’ve been here all of this time? Away from the wizarding world?” “Yes, after many of my friends had died or betrayed me I just didn't think I could go on in this world. And after losing you, I didn't even know what to do. Anyways, how long have you been a lycanthrope? I’ve been one since I was 5.”he replied. “A little into first year, but just after my birthday. I was 12 when I had detention in the forbidden forest, when I was separated from my group and found in the forest a few days later. I’m not sure what happened though, I just don't remember it. I feel sorry for you though, since I doubt you had anyone who knows the subject and I know how it feels to be clueless especially at a young age.” you had answered. You both had answered even sensitive topics after Scarlette had left, to get to know each other. You had been there for at least a few hours without realizing that you should get back to the Burrow. You had promised to come back tomorrow, and to keep in touch. You turned back into an owl, and left through the window in which curtains were previously closed and headed back to the Burrow.
When you got back, George had been worrying very much about you, but it was about lunch so they couldn't do anything yet. You had told George about how you met your father, and Scarlette being there. You had just finished when Castor and Ginny had come racing to tell you both that lunch was ready. You had retold some parts of the story to Molly, making sure it wasn't too sensitive or revealing about either you or your dad and was family friendly. “Remus Lupin? Why I knew him! We met at the Potters wedding, and he seemed awfully caring! Would not let go of you for the life of him! The poor thing, I wonder how he felt about hearing Sirius was behind it all. They were best friends in school, and even closer out of it.” Molly had said after. That night you went to bed wondering how Scarlette found him. That would be for another time, you suppose…
The next day, you had teleported to the flat at about 9 o’clock with some food Molly had prepared. You even brought Castor with you and although he is very shy, he seemed to take to Remus very easily. Castor had loved to listen to Remus talking about his friends during school and didn't even seem scared the slightest when Remus had mentioned Sirius Black. He talked about the Potters, and Peter Pettigrew, along with Marlene Mckinnon and Dorcas Meadows. All of which are now dead. The way he had talked about Sirius and how Molly had said they were very close, you believed they were closer than they appear. A lot closer. Castor and Remus had an amazing time together, and Remus even said you could stay if you like, but of course he knew of previous circumstances. Later in the day, he started talking about Lyra, and what she could do. All he knew of her abilities and such, along with her relevance to the Potters and the Blacks. Remus was always nice to you, and even let you bring George and Fred along tomorrow. When it got late, you headed back to the Burrow with Castor where Mr. Weasley had announced that had been gifted gold, and would be traveling to Egypt in 2 weeks to stay for a month. You knew you had Castor and Remus to look after, as well as you could not be seen so you let them have a family trip.
The next day, the four of you had teleported to the flat and had a great time. George and Fred really liked to meet Remus, and even started a game for you two to get to know each other. “So we will ask a question, and you have to say your answer but it’s lightning round.” George had said. “I’m up for it!” Remus had replied and you nodded in agreement. “Best outfit” said Fred, “Jumper and jeans” you and Remus said. “Best musician or band” George said, “David Bowie '' you both said again. “Favorite past-time” Fred said, “Reading'' you and Remus said yet again. “Someone you love?” George said, “My boyfriend” you both had said before thinking or realizing. As soon as it hit you that Remus also said boyfriend, you immediately had a smirk on your face. When Remus had realized what he said, he seemed to turn into an instant tomato and apologized. You just hugged him, and assured you're not as straight as you seem either, to which he laughed a little and asked “What’s that supposed to mean?” to which you replied “What? You didn't think I only liked the opposite gender, did you?” and started to laugh. You closed your eyes and just took in that you were hugging your father.
