Back Where You Belong
You had taken a window seat in your compartment, George sat right next to you and Scarlette had sat across from you. They seemed the most protective of you and you understood George’s reason, but a question sparked in your mind about Scarlette. Why did Scarlette all of the sudden get protective of you? What does she know? Did she find out about… The train ride was pretty quiet for a little bit, until Emma spoke up and said ”I was just wondering but- erm- did you receive my letter? I sent it to you in the first week and you never responded.”. The rest of the group had also said they sent a letter to you, but either never got a response, or got the letter back. George had sent so many letters, he mentioned that Errol the Weasley family owl was no longer welcome at Malfoy Manor. You replied to all of them saying you don't have your own owl, and you hadn't gotten any letters at all. You decided you had kept it from them long enough, and they would soon find out anyway so you gave Fred and George a knowing look before announcing “You all have probably wondered one time or another, exactly why I disappear once a month or have had some… changes. I’d like to start off by saying that I am a lycanthrope, or more commonly known as a werewolf. I was bit when I disappeared in the forest. I don't know what else to say now.” Violet hugged you, Scarlette had said she thinks of you no different, Lee vowed to protect you, Ava said she loves you either way, Emma made a sound of disgust but said she wouldn't tell anyone that you can turn into a raging monster and kill them all but only because you never got close to her while a werewolf, and the twins looked at you as if you were their idol and they were very very proud of you telling the rest of them. George kept his arm around you all the way there and checked in on your leg. Scarlette and Violet had offered to patch you up when needed, as they were going to go into the medical field. You all got into a discussion of what you wanted to do this year, and when Fred, Groge, and Ava said they wanted to try out for the quidditch team, you said it sounds neat to join. When you arrived at Hogwarts this year, you got to take a carriage with George, Scarlette and Violet with Fred, Emma and Ava in another carriage. You had noticed that the carriages were being pulled by bony-looking horses with wings and skin. You didn't mention it as the rest of the group had not said anything about it.
At dinner you got to see the new and excited 11 year olds get sorted into their houses, and enjoyed the feast. Back in your dorm once again, you felt home and warmth that you had missed over the summer. You were back with your friends, with your house, away from the Malfoys (however you did miss Castor),back to the classes you loved, and you were back to eating proper food once again. Classes had started off really well, and as you usually do, you brought the group up to the Astronomy tower, and promptly sat down since your leg started hurting from so many steps. You had talked about quidditch, and the new professor for Defense Against the Dark Arts, your current class homework, as well as Ava and Violet’s birthday parties since they were both born over the break. Ava’s birthday is on August 17th and Violet’s birthday is on June 3rd.
