The Beginning Of Happiness
When you found a compartment to sit in, 2 identical redhead twins popped their heads in and asked if they could sit with you. You agree, and they introduce themselves as Fred and George Weasley. The three of you hit it off from the start by making jokes, saying what you think your Hogwarts house is, and planning the mischief you would get up to this year. George seems a little shy around you, but it could be because he is so kind to everyone they have met. Later someone was on the lookout for Percy’s rat (Percy is George and Fred’s older brother). Their name was Lee Jordan, and was just as fun as the twins.
When they arrived and crossed the lake that was glittering in the moonlight, they were brought to the Great Hall where hundreds of students sat with their House for the Sorting Ceremony. An old and strict yet kind looking woman called them one by one. Lee was sorted into Gryfindor followed by a round of applause, and all of the sudden”Celeste Malfoy?” the woman had called her up to the old stool and older looking hat and placed it upon her head.”Very kind I see, Brave and loyal, but very witty, and I see some cunning… Well you could fit into any house…” the hat seemed to take forever to decide and 14 minutes later rang out “GRYFFINDOR!” and soon she was followed in path with the 2 Weasleys. The feast had almost every food you could imagine, and the roof was enchanted to show the night sky, which was clear and bright-full of as many stars that you could see. That evening, you made your way to Gryffindor Tower with the rest of your house, where you were told the password, and found your dorm. You and 4 other girls(Emma Jades, Ava Brielle, Violet Quinn, and Scarlette Nova) already knew you would be best friends. Later that night you send a letter to Narcissa and Lucius, talking about your friends, and how you got into Gryffindor.
The next morning you sat with your dorm mates and close to the twins and Lee.You had some toast and jam, when the owls came in, and one red howler which was addressed to you. Between all of the screaming, all you caught was “You are a disgrace to our name!” You held back your tears, because you were used to it and you didn't want to show any weakness. The hall had received their classes, and you were surprised to see you had Defense Against the Dark Arts with Slytherin, than Charms with Hufflepuffs, Herbology with Ravenclaws, Transfiguration with Slytherin, History of magic with Ravenclaws, Flying with Hufflepuff, and Astrology. You had all of your classes with Emma, Ava, Violet, Scarlette, Lee, Fred, and George. You finished eating and went to your first class, double Potions, with your friends.
Snape seemed to act if you weren't there, rather than being as mean as he was to the other Gryhffindor’s. The rest of the day was great, and after classes were over, you and the girls talked about your first day in the common room. ”Who gives out homework on the first day! Absolutely mental if you ask me.” Emma said ”Obviously Snape, asking us to read then write 1 foot of parchment on the 12 uses of dragon blood due on friday!” Violet replied. You already took some notes to base your essay on during class, so it should be a breeze. You offered to share your notes, and collaborate on the essay, to make sure you all understand, or at least have some help.
It seemed like you could really get used to this.
