he wasn't prepared for any ounce of kindness nor fondness, not at the age of eleven surrounded by strangers.
And yet, here he was. He barely manged to find this empty confinement, a bit of peace. But of course someone must've interrupted him. He was startled by the sudden impact of harshly opened door. Fortunately it was swiftly replaced by utter shock upon seeing a bundle of bright blond hair decorated, or rather clattered with small hair clips diffrent shape and colours. He could spot fluttering moths and butterflies, tortoises dragging themselves one by one and what seems like wasps but rather violently covered in blue glitter, some of which seeped onto her left eyebrown and probably half of her eyelid. He couldn't decide to be mortified by it or simply laugh, so his face stayed solemn.
"you sure look grumpy" she said with deep frown "you could use some colour"
And that's how Regulus and Pandora's friendship begun.

Autumn's weather always calmed him. Although, the noise of the boy's dormitory did not. Barty tried to distarct him from reading the potion's textbook to no avail.
