Persephone's Diary
Summary
Persephone's (fem!Percy) best friend, Winter Evergreen, sends the Weasley family her diary to learn the reasons behind her decisions.

Perry has a Diary?

It was a tense day at the Burrow, because Arthur Weasley had had a row with his daughter, well former daughter; Persephone Flint-Weasley. The argument was mostly about him and Molly disapproving of her decision to marry Marcus Flint and having a daughter with him. The fight broke Perry's heart, and she stormed out of the Burrow sobbing her heart out, which drained the anger right out of him. The last thing Arthur wanted was to make his daughter cry, yet he did it anyway. Suddenly, an eagle-owl flew into the living room with a book and a note attached to it. Ginny looked up from where she was leaning against Bill and asked, "What did Persie send us? I thought she didn't want to see us again?"

Molly read the note aloud:

"Dear Weasley family,

Persephone has asked me to send you this book, since she believes you deserve to know the truth. I had her owl send it to you her behalf, so I haven't read it. As this is for your eyes only, do what you will with the information but do not use it against Perry or her family.

Yours truly,

Winter Evergreen"

That got the twins' attention, already looking forward to teasing their sister. However, Bill managed to nab the diary before Fred or George could get their hands on it. Clearing his throat, the eldest Weasley sibling started reading.

22 August, 1987

That piqued everyone's interest. "This must've been written on Persie's 11th birthday." Ginny mused thoughtfully.

Today is my 11th birthday and the day I got my Hogwarts letter. Nothing interesting really happened, other than Mother baking a cake for me, everyone singing happy birthday, and Uncle Bilius giving me this journal. The best part about it is that it's enchanted to never run out of paper. So, I can write as much as I want!

A safe place for me to write my innermost thoughts, away from my younger siblings and not giving them a chance to tease me about it.

That earned an offended "Hey!" from Ron, Ginny, Fred, and George. But a pointed look from Bill and a muffled "Liars" from Charlie caused them to pout and settle down.

I'll call this journal "Confidant", because unlike some people, a book can't judge you or make fun of you.

Ron, Ginny, Fred, and George hung their heads in shame, knowing this was directed at them.

I have to go to sleep now. But I already feel so much better after writing this. Goodnight Confider. Persephone Melody Weasley.

Arthur took the diary from Bill and said that he would read next.

(Author's Note: I'm doing a little timeskip so pretend they're reading her fourth year now)

12 September 1990

I can't believe i didn't realize it until now: I have a crush on Marcus Flint. For two years.

That got some growls from the Weasley brothers, while Hermione and Fleur just smiled.

How could I not?
