Getting to know you

Ginny had flooed Dean and Seamus,  both agreeing to be over in an hour. Once dinner was eaten and the twins had cleared up at their insistence, Mr and Mrs Weasley went for a walk, claiming the young ones needed to get to know each other before they met Ginny's other husbands.

Soon Dean and Seamus arrived by floo and all of Ginny's brothers introduced themselves to the scared looking men. Their eyes went particularly wide when they talked to the built like a tank Charlie.

Both men seemed at easy with Harry though, much to the pleasure of Ginny.

After introductions they sat down, Bill handing out butterbeer, chatting amicably.

Hermione snuggled into Fred at Charlie's insistence. He had spoken to her outside and said that Fred needed her affection tonight and no one would get jealous.

"So, I thought all of you were inviting your soon to be wives here too, and Hermione where are your husbands to be?" Dean asked looking around the room.

Silence fell in the room. Everyone looked to Hermione.

"Sorry did I say something wrong? Ginny just said that we were here to meet you all and your partners since you're a very close family." Dean stated quietly.

"No you're fine it's just a little complicated." George told them.

Taking a deep breath Hermione squeezed Fred's hand and looked at Dean and Seamus.

"All my husbands are here. I got matched with all Weasleys." Hermione said

"Which three?" Seamus asked.

Bill laughed.

"No I got matched with all six Weasley brothers. There was too many to separate according to the minister.  Now there will only be two Weasley family's not seven." Hermione said.

"Oh wow. When the papers said one witch was going to be matched with more than three wizards I thought it was four, not six and not all brothers. How are you all dealing with this? " Dean asked.

"Some better than others. Could have been alot worse, no death eaters here. But yes there have been some teething problems. A few arguments and few tears but we are trying to make it work as best as we can." George explained, squeezing Hermione's knee.

Throughout the evening the Weasleys gave her encouraging smiles, even Ron was less mean about it all.

Hermione looked at each of the brothers in turn throughout the evening,  trying to see how she could make it work with each of them.

Bill, would be a great head of house and she could confide in, the sex part might be difficult but they would get there.

Percy was extremely smart and she would have great conversations with him.

Fred and George were funny, both had their own sense of self and she was looking forward to seeing more of their quirks.

Ron she had known for years and loved him deeply, although his temper often got the best of him.

Charlie was the one she was most excited about. She could talk to him for hours and never get bored.

They were all very good looking which didn't hurt.

She looked at Ginny who seemed to be taking everything in her stride. She was very happy for her friend to end up with three decent men, especially since the men already got along and would make it easier.

Dean and Seamus clearly were very happy with their lot too, if the way they smiled at Ginny was anything to go by.

Over the evening Hermione kept glancing at her matches, she knew she was a very lucky woman,  many would to kill to be in her shoes.

Over the course of the evening she found herself relaxing and laughing at the twins silly jokes. She mostly ignored the annoyed looks from Ron, he didn't seem happy she was cuddled into Fred. She would have to try and see if she could make this easier on him.

By the time Dean and Seamus left they were at ease with the Weasley brothers, hugging each one good bye. It was great to see. They would all probably be spending lots of time together.

She went to bed happier than she had been since finding out about her matches.
