I´ll have you know Lily-flower adores me! We've actually become really good friends over the past year since the whole Snivellus thing.
Are you perhaps jealous? If so, don´t worry cariño, I rather like your hair as it is.

That was a really nice way to describe your favourite colour :)
I'm kinda embarrassed of my own answer now.
I don't really know why red is my favourite colour, i´ve kinda always just liked it?
My parents were both Gryffindors as well so our house has always had a lot of red, I guess the colour reminds me of home. It reminds me of my ma and pa but it also reminds me of the gryffindor common room/dorms where I met my best mates as well. I guess the colour just brings me happy memories.
It's probably a weird reason.
