If Sirius Orion Black is something, he definitely is in love with Remus John Lupin.

No one ever really talks about how frightening it is to be in love especially at such a young age. Okay Sirius doesn't know if it's any different when you are older but that's not the point. The point is that he would do absolutely anything for Remus. Buy the most expensive pair of hideous socks for Remus if he wanted them, take cooking classes so he could make whatever food Remus is craving (he would make a pretty good housewife in his opinion), take as many crucios as needed if Remus would be safe but the scary part is he wouldn't even hesitate a second if it meant Remus is happy.

James likes to tease him about how smitten he is for Remus, which is kinda ironic because definitely James isn't the best person to talk since he's been in love with Lily for as long as anyone could remember.

Remus, Remus, Remus, he thinks while jumping two stairs at time. Soon he's at the Hogwarts library. He's in a good mood since he knows Remus is ending his study group thingy and after that he has his Moony all to himself which he has been waiting for the whole day. The study club started when one younger student went to ask help from Remus since he was the only one around but then it escalated quickly to a regular study group on Thursdays from 16.30 to 18. Because of it some other students call him “Professor Lupin” which Remus pretends to hate but the small smile that spreads in his face gives it away if you just pay enough attention, and oh boy has Sirius paid attention.

It doesn't take long for him to find Remus and his nerd minions packing their stuff away. He decides he will startle Remus from behind and starts slowing his walking space. He can't help but think how awfully pretty Moony looks while saying goodbyes to everyone and how sincerely he smiles to the younger students. Then suddenly one first year Slytherin girl with curly light brown hair and bright smile hugs Remus. Sirius stops on his tracks and Remus looks a bit surprised but quickly recovers and pats the girls back a little awkwardly. Sirius melts at the sight. He didn't think it was even possible to love someone more than he already loves Remus but he never stops surprising him. Then the girl lets go, thanks him and blasts off before Remus can even react. Sirius sees his perfect opportunity and soon he's jumping straight (well gayly) at Remus’ back.
Remus lets out a little scream which Sirius loves but he quickly muffles it with his hand and pushes Sirius off his back. “Padfoot what the fuck, you daft.” Remus whisper shouts, a little annoyed but shakes it off quickly and turns to look at Sirius.

Their eyes meet and Remus softens immediately. Sirius loves staring into those fucking beautiful chocolate colored eyes. It's almost like all the chocolate he eats goes gayly to his eyes. “Who was that girl? Should I be jealous that you have other admirers?” Sirius greets him. “It was Airelle Golding, first year Slytherin. Very bright for her age though and as you see has no shame.” Remus says looking at Sirius with a smile and then continues “Reminds me of someone but without the brightness, oh and how did you manage to scare me? Usually I can hear your footsteps.” Sirius jumps on the table that's behind him and takes Remus’ hands in his own. “Are you saying I'm not smart huh? Professor Lupin, you can teach me a lesson then” Sirius asks, raising his brows at him but he is still smiling. Remus rolls his eyes at his stupid, awfully adorable boyfriend (not that he would ever admit that out loud). “And after you tiptoe around for 16 years you learn to walk without making any noise.” He says answering Remus’ other question.

Leaving Grimmauld Place is still a raw subject for him but with The Potters, his other friends and especially Remus’ help it's getting better day after day. Not that he doesn't have bad days, he does in fact have those days where he can barely get out of bed and take care of himself but even worse are those days when he feels like he has to be on roll 25/8 not eating or sleeping until his body gives up. It definitely isn't easy but there is still some progress.

Remus just looks at him with a small smile, so Sirius pulls him closer so Remus is standing between his legs. “I missed you” Sirius tells him quietly like he's telling him a secret. “Last time you saw me was at breakfast, you git” Remus tucks a strand of raven black hair behind Sirius ear and leans in for a sweet kiss.

Kissing Remus feels nothing like those that are described in fairytales. Kissing Remus feels hundred times better, it is so real and raw, full of emotion and love. His lips are unusually soft and they leave you satisfied but yet you are always craving and craving for more, it dulls only after your lips are on his again. It is a never ending cycle. Remus is holding him by his waist to keep him still and Sirius wraps his arms around Remus’ shoulders pulling him a little closer. They continue that for who knows how long, only breaking apart to get their breaths back before diving back in.

“Mr Lupin, Mr Black please go share each other's saliva somewhere else before I have to kick you both out” Pince tells voice stern but bored interrupting their moment rudely. They break apart from surprise, “Yes ma'am” Sirius tells her, sending a wink her way. Pince doesn't do much as look unimpressed and Remus gives an apologetic smile to her. Turning back to Sirius he gives him one last quick peck before backing away. “James and Peter are probably already waiting for us in the Great Hall” Remus stretches his hand for Sirius to take, who accepts it gladly wrapping his own arms around it and leaning his head against Remus’ shoulder.

That night they are laying on Remus’ bed, Sirius’ face in the crook of Remus’ neck and Remus’ nose buried in floral scented silky black hair. Their legs tangled together, skin touching skin, two hearts beating as one.
