Cheri paced up and down infront of the door. This door led to a certain history classroom, with a certain Harry Potter. Some people might think she’s stalking him to get an autograph, but they’d be very wrong.
Honestly, this joke feels a little mean, but just thinking about it makes her crack up and snort.
Just then, the door opens, and Harry’s group is the second to leave. Quickly, she walks up to him and hands him a note, before speed walking away. Then, she disillusions herself and speed walks right back.
“What’s that? A love note?” Asks Ron, nosy as always.
Harry frowns before opening the note. He pauses. “It’s.. a coupon.” He says flatly.
“For what?” Hermione asks, leaning up to see the note, but harry pulls it away from her.
“For.. um. New parents.”
Hermione blanches before snatching the note with force. Her cheeks go rosy red, and she snorts. She puts her hand over her face but that just makes her laugh sound like a deflating ballon, “did-“ snort,”there’s..um, an expiry date harry,” handing the coupon back while looking completely horrified at herself.
Ron looks gobsmacked, his jaw open, as he reads it too. Strangely, he seems slightly more sympathetic as he pats a hand on Harry’s shoulder. He then ruins the moment by saying, “too bad it’s already expired, you could’ve used a coupon like that” before cracking up too.
Cheri sneaks away, a smirk on her face.
