You're As Beautiful As The Pottery You Carve
Magnus was already having a rotten day. He had spilled coffee on himself this morning, Sam was mad at him for something that he couldn't even keep track of anymore and a shit ton of other stuff.
And now, he was looking for his girlfriend who was currently nowhere to be found. So yeah, Magnus was not having it.
He'd already checked his room, Alex's room, their entire floor, and outside.
Blitz and Hearth hadn't seen her, and his pride wouldn't let him ask Sam.
So, he went back to his room. Or, he was going to until her heard something coming from Alex's room. A soft murmuring. Or maybe... Crying?
Magnus hesitated by the door for half a second, then went in.
"Alex? "
Alex was sitting on her bed, her green hair ruffled and messy, yet somehow adorable, and her hetero chromatic eyes glistening with tears. She was wearing a onsie, and had a blue blanket wrapped around her shoulders, messing up her usual pink/green vibe.
Magnus came over and say next to her.
"What's wrong, love? " he murmured, putting an arm around her and pulling her closer.
She sniffled softly, putting her head on his shoulder.
"Maggie, am I broken? " the words came out soft and detached, like a sudden thought.
"No. Not at all, my love."
"Mags, I can't do anything right. I screw up everything, even what I'm supposed to be good at. Shape shifting. Pottery. People. You. "
"You don't screw anything up. " He wiped a tear off her cheek. "You're as beautiful as the pottery you carve. "
His eye caught on her most recent piece. A stunning vase, lined with intricate flowers and vines.
She looked at him. "Yeah?"
Magnus kissed her forehead. "Yeah."
All his anger from the day dissapeared. He was sitting next to his amazing, caring, kind girlfriend, who, though she was loud and sometimes a bit mean, loved him so, so much.
"I love you, Alex Fierro. "
A slight smiled tugged at her lips, and she closed her eyes, head still on his shoulder.
"And I love you, Magnus Chase. "
