First Moon Away
You and Castor would be staying with Remus while the Weasley's went on their trip to Egypt. You three had a great time together, and Remus had really bonded with the both of you. A few days into their trip, Remus had taken you in your animal form of a fox to a storage that had Sirius Black’s things in there, and even some of yours. Remus had seemed a little pained to be there, so you didn't take long looking through it. There were things for a baby girl, and you saw something that caught your attention. It was a small collection of stuffed animals. A stag that had on it Prongs, a dog with Padfoot, a rat with Wormtail, and a wolf with Moony. Now you knew how you recognized those names on the map, and when you found them you asked Remus. “What are the names on these from? I recognize the names, but I’m just curious.” to which Remus had responded “Me and my friends' nicknames. Mine was Moony, Peter was Wormtail, James was Prongs, and Sirius was Padfoot…They were all animagi and helped a little bit during the full moons. Don't get any ideas for the twins!”. “Speaking on the moon, what have you been doing? You're obviously not registered, we would have already met.” you queried. “Apparating to a remote forest far away from any towns, really. Anyways, what will Castor do? I’m not sure if you would want to leave him alone for the night.” Remus had kindly responded. You replied with “I’m figuring it out for Castor, and do you think it would be alright for the both of us?” to which he replied “I’m sure it would be alright, but I know of a few other places if you would prefer to be alone for it. Just a thought since-um..”. “I’d not thought about that. I suppose alone would have some good points, but some bad as well…” you said and went face first into a deep thought. You knew that Remus would not hurt you in any way, even if he had no control over the wolf. If you were alone, what would you do if anything bad happened? Would you be alright alone? “I’d believe it would be alright if I stayed with you if you're fine with it.” you had said and Remus had nodded in agreement. Now what to do with Castor…
You thought back to the house, and the orbs. They told you where to go, what to do, and what not to. Would they be helpful for Castor as well? You decided that when night hit, you would attempt to teleport there but didn't expect it to work since you can't apparate. When Castor had fallen asleep, and you had let Remus know you were going to take a look at a place but hadn't specified where, so he stayed with Castor while you checked it out. You saw Lyra, Regulus, and more spirits going around the house when you teleported there. They waved small “Hi!”s to you, and Lyra had told you it would be fine leaving him here then brought you to a room that he could be in. It was a room with light blue wallpaper, a small bed but perfect size for him, and had some toys. When you walked in, Lyra had not followed suit as she warned that the room would only make her appear as an orb that could give advice. She mentioned that orbs would be here with him and protecting the house the entire time just as they had been before you found it. You thought it was perfect, and let her know you thank her for her kindness. You teleported back and told Remus about a room that is guarded and seemed perfect for Castor on the moon. He seemed weary, but you assured him you would trust the place with your life and had seemed to reluctantly agree.
That moon, you teleported Castor right to the room and let him know that the orbs would help him if he needs it. You kissed him goodbye, and headed back to the flat to let Remus apparate you both to the forest. The transformation happened a little bit after you got there and got ready, back to back for the painful experience of the transformation. Your bones pulling and twisting, your joints stretching and aching, and the painful headache that came with it. The wolf had noticed there was someone else there with it, family. It was welcoming, and had let them hunt together. The wolf had been happy to have a companion to not be alone and separated from the world it knows it belongs to. They had played, and ran, and been together like it should have been. When the moon had fallen and the sun would rise soon, they painfully transformed back. After cries of agony, you both soon realized where you were and pulled your clothes from the beyond. When you both were dressed you had teleported to get Castor and meet Remus back at the flat, and Remus apparated. Castor was awake and seemed like his eyes were red from crying. You asked “Hey there, I’m back. Are you okay?” and he said “I missed you.”. The orbs informed you that he had a night terror, and after they calmed him down he couldn't fall asleep again. You thanked them very much and had teleported Castor back to the flat where Remus worriedly asked “What happened? Is everything alright?”. “Night terror kept him up.” you responded and Remus had hugged him. “Can you tell us what it was about? You don't have to if you don't want to, but talking might help.” Remus said very caring even though he was tired. “I had a dream where Sirius escaped Azkaban. I got scared, and woke up.” he said and Remus seemed to be on the verge of a breakdown at those words. You decided to get the prophet from the Burrow, since the Weasley's weren't home and probably would want to read it, but when you saw the headline you almost had a heart attack.
Mass murderer Sirius Black has escaped Azkaban. Beware of this man, as he is known to be delusional, and is one of You Know Who’s biggest supporters…
How could he have known? You needed to tell Remus, but thought of how he would react and thought of how he reacted to Castor’s dream. How would he be when he finds out it’s true? You teleported back and put on a brave face in front of them then proceeded to make you three breakfast. You needed something to distract yourself from so many questions and you thought that Remus wouldn't eat when he heard, so better to get something down now. Castor also would probably be hungry, and you needed energy after the moon. Once all of you finished eating and Castor was watching the television, you brought Remus to the kitchen and stood in the doorway where you and Castor could see each other. You had shown him the headline, and he just started crying. You hugged him tightly and told him that “The Dementors will put him back before anything bad happens, I’m sure.”. The way Remus painfully talked about him before had given you the idea that he had gotten a lot better than he had been when Sirius went to Azkaban and you had seen him grow even more since you arrived into his life, and now it seemed that this was going to tear all of that progress apart. He stayed in his room in silence from what you could tell, and you took to caring for the both of them. Making sure Remus didn't starve, and making sure that Castor was fine through all of this.
