Happy Valentines Day!! Kind of later in the day I'm posting these ones...

“What's your favorite sweet?”

Junko Enoshima smiles. There is whip cream on her mouth, and an orange slice in her hand. She licks her lips and looks at Mikan as if she is the treat.

“Well, I can't really have most sweets,” she revealed with a giggle, “They're pretty to pose with, but my manager would kill me if I ate too many. I mainly eat fruit, like what we're doing now. The whip cream is a bit of a cheat, but it's fine every once in a while.”

Mikan frowns. “It's good to eat healthy, but… Is your diet really so strict? I-I notice, you don't really… eat much.”

Junko laughed. “I'm an expert in self-denial,” she revealed, “How despairing! Well, it's fine. Fruit is basically what most sweets are flavored after—well, that and chocolate. But even that comes from a tree. Most things have a natural source, you know?” She tilted her head back, and Mikan swallowed at how the action showed off her throat.

Focus!

“Well, what's your favorite fr-fruit, then?”

“Hmm.” She pressed her lips in thought, putting the orange back down on her plate. “There's multiple answers to that.”

“Multiple?”

“Well, what would you guess?”

Mikan blushed. “O-Oranges… you eat them a lot.”

“I do!” She grinned. “They're what I eat most. Your name means orange, doesn't it? Aha, and just like an orange, I could eat you up! Better be careful, Mikan-senpai.” Mikan flushed further at the teasing, but Junko continued before she could get a word in edgewise. “I ate oranges a lot as a kid. It started with my friend's mom making them for me. Auntie would cut them for the three of us, and I guess that's how Chisa-neechan picked up her ‘rotten orange’ phrase. They remind me of those days. But do you want to know something?”

Mikan leaned in, enraptured, and Junko grinned with relish, revealing like a secret:

“I hate oranges.”

She giggles at whatever expression Mikan is making. “Shocking, right? But really, I hate being reminded of those times. I mean, Auntie's long dead now, so why would I want to be reminded of times I can never get back? Plus—the heartburn hurts everytime. I hate eating oranges, so that's exactly why I eat them.”

“And…” Mikan swallowed. “Why, exactly, are you dating me?”

Junko Enoshima smiled. “Can't you guess?”
