Possibilities
Is it better to speak or to die?
That is the question that everyone had pondered at least once in their life. Whether it was that phrase exactly, or worded in their own way, everyone has thought about it. People have spent five seconds thinking about it, knowing their own answers right away. Others, that’s been the overarching question their whole life. Because sometimes the choices overlap, other times they give very different results. It’s never known quite what will happen until the leap is being taken, and that’s often the hardest part. The leap.
The leap that leads to a path you cannot got back from. The leap into the decision of silence or the risk that comes with speaking. Though to speak doesn’t always mean to die, there is always the chance. There’s a chance of getting misunderstood or judged, ridiculed or shamed, but the chance that greatness can bloom from that small decision making it even harder.
That is what makes this decision almost impossible. That is why it is so attention grabbing because the chances of each cannot be calculated or assumed. Things hardly ever go as expected, and with that, dying might happen even with speaking.
