your shoes sitting in the doorway
mine on my feet
your jacket on its hanger
mine on the floor
your half finished coffee
still in the fridge
i haven't touched it
in case you still want it
your bedsheets sprawled across
just how you left it
an indent of who you were
in the pillows and the mattress
the cold grasp of your hand
still lays like a ghost in mine
