Chapter 4
pin dropped silence, no words being spoken when lupin came out from Teddy’s mouth.
“ Forgive me, but did you just say Lupin, as in Edward Remus Teddy Lupin ?”
“Yes, I did”
“Teddy? As in the two-year teddy who is back at home with his grandmother and his mother’s aunt ?”
Teddy gives them a tight grin, “That very one.”
Snape and McGonagall both take a step back, in disbelieve at how the two-year-old they had just seen a week ago was standing right in front of them,
“What year are you ?” McGonagall had to ask him,
“ well in our time, I'm already in my last year,” Teddy tells them. He walked towards where Orion sat and went to sit next to him. His heart was beating. He was nervous and the slight shoulder movement from Orion was enough to stabilize him at the moment.
Snape observed the boy as he made his way towards his godson’s boy. He noticed the no space between them as the boy sat, his eyes looked so far away but returned upon the slight touch of their shoulders. He had assumed that in the future when Potter came back he would take his godson to live with him but judging from the close space between the boy and the Malfoy, he assumed wrongly.
“so then you're the oldest here” McGonagall states out, her eyes closing, she’s feeling a headache coming through.
“We will contact your grandmother upon the situation, is that okay for you?”
“It's okay, I'd like to see grams in this time with how she looks,”
“Okay, before we continue, is there anything anyone would like to speak up about before we call your parents ?”
“I have a question,” the blonde pixie cut spoke up
“ Elia,”
“Shush potter,” the blonde pixie cut, Elia paid no mind to the other,
“ Can you call the head nurse here?”
At the mention of the head nurse, Violet turns towards her sister rushing to her side, “Why? Are you okay, did you hurt yourself? are you in pain ?”
“Would you stop your worry, I'm fine,” Elia tells her sister,
“ then why does the head nurse need to be called ?” Zabini-weasley male asked
Elia rolled her eyes at her sister's housemate, “Because it's past two hours ago when Lyra was supposed to see her. From the time we landed here was two hours back from the time we left so in our time she should've been in the infirmary but seeing how we are here, let's not take our chances.”
Seeing how the group had almost forgotten about their injured friend, they turned towards her only to see that she seemed to be not in the best condition. She was now leaning her whole body onto Orion as Orion was muttering warming spells to keep her from shivering. Lysander was talking to her to keep her from shutting her eyes, thea and Teddy were by her other side and slightly in front of her casting healing spells to no avail. Scorpious was going through his pouch that he had brought alongside with him to pull out something similar to pills.
“Call Poppy,” Snape tells mcgonagall before making his way towards his godson’s daughter. Worried was evidently upon the group’s face as he bypassed them. What was even shocking was that even the Potters and Weasleys were worried.
“Step aside boy and let me look at her,” He tells scorpious and crouches down next to Lysander,
“ explain,” he tells them, not to his surprise it was Orion who spoke up.
“She just got out of the infirmary a day ago from our time, madame Pomfrey said to keep it light with movements. No magic till her magic heals her shoulder. Her regular check-ups are in the morning before breakfast during the afternoon and before dinner. She dislocated her left shoulder and can't move her arm till it was fully healed.”
“Her left shoulder? is it her wand arm ?” snape asked him, he did not like the result of her condition as she had just been released from the infirmary.
“Orion is it her wand arm ?”
“It is, it's my wand arm.” Lyra softly tells him,
“What did you do to have caused you to harm your wand hand daring,” snape asked her, his tone had gone soft surprising McGonagall and the others except Orion and scorpious.
“It was an accident, none important uncle,”
Snape doesn't buy it as he has seen from both of his side's views the way the upper years had stiffened when he had asked what happened. The way scorpious and Orion’s faces became cold and blank, how Thea clenched and unclenched her fist, Teddy and the older Flint and Zabini-Weasley faces had pain and guilt written. The snake potter gritted his teeth, everyone else had shame and guilt written on their face minus the younger ones who just looked worried about Lyra.
What felt like forever for scorpious, madame Pomfrey had finally arrived in confusion, though the moment she had laid her eyes upon Lyra she held off her question and moved towards Lyra and started to cast healing spells followed by numbing spells.
“Lay her back, I need her lying down.”
“ Do I move away after ?”
“No, Her magic is seeking yours, it's what keeping her stable so far,
Madame Pomfrey looks back to scorpious, “Even you boy, seeing how similar attached her magic is to yours, come closer. As for the rest of you, I'm going to need all of you to move back.
“Come sander, let's step away for a bit and go sit next to Ali,” Thea tries to coax her brother, trying to him to step away so that Madame Pomfrey can have more room, but Lysander doesn't listen to her, he was still holding onto Lyra's right hand and rubbing her thumb.
Violet looks worried, Lyander had always looked up to Lyra since he had entered Hogwarts. The two were either in the library or somewhere in the courtyard reading. Orion had once joking told Lysander that, if he wasn't Lyra's twin it would've been him,
Thea knew that deep down, her brother hadn't forgiven her for what had happened to Lyra. Not just her brother but the younger ones. One look from Aries and she knew she was right. If Lysander hadn't forgiven her then so did Alisandre to Aries, Lily to James, Alice to Frank, and Cassie to Orion and Scorpious.
The First years in their group were the ones who had forbade them to visit or go anywhere Lyra. Lyra had found it amusingly cute but she had told them that if she forgave us then they could do too. Though Thea knew they never did despite telling her in front of Lyra that she and the others were forgiven.
