Monday

I'm an alligator,

Fresh air that was flying through the open window was filling the small room with a cold, but clam breeze.

I'm a mama-papa coming for you,

The vinyl that was laying on the old recordplayer, kept turning to let the room fill with the beautiful voice of David Bowie.

I'm the space invader,

Green eyes were following the words that were written on a page.

I'll be a rock 'n' rollin' bitch for you.

A knock on my door made me look up from my homework. ,,What?" I asked annoyed. My mother came in. ,,Hello darling. Do you mind going with me to the grocery store? You'd be a really good help for me." I sighed and laid the potion book on my desk. ,,Sure, just give me a minute." I said as i started packing my potion book, my feather, the papers and the black quill away. I turned off the recordplayer and packed away the vinly. I took my jacket and my wand, and before i got outside, i closed the window in my room. 

The short drive we had to make before standing infront of the store was only five minutes. ,,Have you heard from your friends?" My mother asked with her eyes towards the street. ,,No." I shortly said. ,,You know i like your friends, but i think you also should make some friends outside from Hogwarts. A friendship with, like you call them, Muggles. So you wouldn't be so alone all the time. Your friends never come to you or you to them. That shouldn't be like that. You should hang out with your friends, instead of sitting in your room, reading all day." I sighed. ,,It's not like they have never been here before. We hang out most of the time. Just not in the holidays. Also, i have muggle friends." I meant. ,,Oh really? What's their name?" My mother looked at me. ,,S...Simon!" I lied. ,,And where does Simon live?" My mother raised her eyebrows. ,,London." Mom turned her head to the side. ,,London? And why haven't i met him?" She asked not believing me. ,,Because." I just said. My mother just sighed with a sad undertone. ,,Oh Remus..." I groaned annoyed. 

As we were outside of the grocery store, i went outside the car. I didn't wait for my mother to get out. I just walked inside the store and walked towards the candy shelf. I took two basic milk chocolates that were cheap and walked back to my mother, who now was in the store. ,,Can you get us orange juice? I think three bottles would be good." I nodded and walked towards the drinking compartment. 

I looked for the orange juice that we always buy. It was on the other end of the hallway on the top of the shelf. I stretched my arm out for the orange juice and took three bottles out of the box. As i wanted to go back, i saw a girl with pink and red hair, in my age, that tried to get some water on the other side of the hallway. The water was on the top of the shelf, and it didn't looked like she would get it. I sighed and walked up to her. ,,Do you need help?" I asked friendly. ,,Oh yes, thank you. Could you get me four bottles of water?" She asked, slightly embarrassed. ,,Sure." I said as i stretched my arms out for the bottles. ,,I love Bowie." The girl suddenly said. I looked confused at her, as i took the water. ,,Hm?" Was all i said. ,,I said, i love Bowie." Still confused, what she wanted to say with that, i gave her the water bottles. ,,You, you got a good taste in music." She pointed at my T-shirt. ,,Oh." I said, now understanding. On my T-shirt stood the name "Bowie" in big red letters. ,,You like Bowie?" I asked again. ,,Mhmh, there's a starman waiting in the sky~ I love him." She said with a smile. 

I smiled at her, as i remembered about the words my mother just said. A friendship with, like you call them, Muggles. ,,I'm Remus by the way." I said holding my hand towards the girl. ,,Luna." Luna said with a smile back. ,,I like your hair." I complimented her. ,,Thank you." Luna took a hairstrand and played with it. ,,Had to ask my mother for a long time to let me dye it." I nodded slowly. ,,Are you from here?" I asked her. ,,Oh yeah. I just moved back to my mother. Before my father died i lived with him, but now i'm back with my mom. And you?" She asked interested. ,,Live here like half a year. Me and my parents often have to move, because of...work." I meant. ,,I'm soory about your father." Luna shook her head. ,,It's okay, he was an asshole." She meant. 

,,Would you like my number?" Luna asked now. ,,Sure." I shrugged. ,,Okay, wait a second..." Luna searched in her bag she was wearing for a pen. As she had found one, she took my arm and rolled up the sleeve from my jacket. ,,And...here you go. Call me if you want to." She said as she took the water bottles, she had placed on the floor and left me alone. I looked after her as she walked away. But as i couldn't see her anymoe, i took the orange juice and walked back to my mother. ,,What took you so long?" My mother asked. ,,Had to help a girl." I said as i walked besides my mother. ,,Oh, how kind of you."

We finished the shopping-list and went to the register. As my mother paid for all the things we needed, we went outside and got in the car, after packing the things in the trunk. 

As we arrived at home, i saw an owl sitting on my window. I knew this owl. It had black and grey feathers. It was holding a letter with its beak. 

,,Sirius." I said with an smile on my lips. 

I ran upstairs to my room and welcomed the owl that was sitting there, waiting. I took the letter out of the beak and gave the black owl something to eat and drink. I fell in my bed and opened the letter.

Bonjour Moony,

how are you? Haven't heard from you in a long time. Everything okay at home? How was last full moon? Did any of the others have written you a letter?

I'm with James. Had an little argument with my parents and ran away, but James and his parents let me live with them. Have you ever heard about a Knight bus? I didn't know such a thing existed until they brought me to James... They give you a hot chocolate if you pay a bit more. But to be honest i didn't liked the taste of it very much. At least it was warm. It was really weird, but they bring you everywhere you want, so i would say the money was worth it.

It's so much fun here. We were playing quidditch with some of the neighbour witches and wizards. Our team of course won. Like always. But you also have to say that they were way younger than us and not the best in Quidditch.

James is only talking over Lily lately. 

Oh, have i told you already that one of the neighbours kids tried to teach me how to play the gituar? Lila is her name. I think she is only a year younger than me. She is a beautiful girl, but that didn't helped with learing the gituar. I was AWFUL! But however, i tried, okay? I tried. That is always something. James is soooo good with the gituar. He already can play a few songs. But he is also playing the gituar for more than a year...

I hope you have beautiful holidays. Me and James would have came to you, but we didn't knew if you went somewhere with your family, or if you wanted to see us. 

I hope i see you this week in Diagon Alley? Me and Prongs are going to be there on Saturday (30th August). Wormtail said he would be there too. Maybe we could then hang out a bit?

Say hello to your parents for me. Maybe that will give me extra points by your mother and father ;)

Lila? Maybe a new love interest for Sirius. It sounds like he and James are having a good time. I wonder what Peter is up to... I haven't heard from him since the last day in the sixth year.

As a knock was coming from my open door, i saw my mother. ,,Dinner is ready." She said with a smile. ,,Coming." I shortly said as i laid the letter next to me on my bed.

After my father and i sat down to my mother, we began to eat. ,,How was your day at the Ministry?" Asked my mother. ,,Not interesting. But i can't say it wasn't stressfull. All the work with those death eaters..." Father meant, eating the food that was on his plate. ,,Sirius wanted me to say hello for him." I said with my mouth full with potatos. ,,Oh was that Sirius owl? How nice of him."

,,Oh dad",

i looked to my father.

,,I wanted to ask if we could go to Diagon Alley on Saturday? My friends will be there."

My father just nodded. ,,Oh Remus, can you tell Sirius that i'm sorry when you see him again?" Asked my mother me. I looked at my mother with a mix of suprising and irritation. ,,What? Why?" My mother raised her eyebrows in confusing. ,,Didn't he told you? Scarlett told me today that Sirius got disowned. I thought you knew it. " Scarlett was one of our non-muggle neighbours, who has always the freshes news about the wizarding world. ,,He told me that he had an argument, but not that he got disowned!" I said still in shock.

I stared at my food, not wanting to eat anymore. Why didn't he tell me? Did James know? Probably. And Peter? He surely will know it in a couple of hours, when everybody knows. God, i hope he's okay.

I stood up with the explanation that i had to do homework. Alone in my room i throwed myself on the bed with the white bedsheets. I just stared at my celling for a long time. I heard my owl in one corner of my room. ,,Not now, David." I have him since my second year at Hogwarts. I didn't know what to call him. And after i showed my friends David Bowie, they always said David Bowie to him. I think i started to call him that, after Peter had glued a piece of paper on Davids cage with 'David Bowie' standing on it.

I didn't wanted to write a letter to Sirius in the moment, but it was also to early to go to bed, so i took the house telephone and dialed the number that was written on my wrist. It took a bit, until a voice apearred on the other end of the line. ,,Veronica Romolus here. Who am i speaking to?" A female voice was to hear. ,,Ehm, hello, my name is Remus Lupin. Is there any chance i could speak with Luna?" I asked. ,,Of course. Please wait a second." Said the woman. After like one minute apearred a voice again. ,,Hello?" It was Lunas voice. ,,Hey Luna. It's me. The guy from the grocery store. Remus." I said with a light smile on my lips. ,,Oh hay Remus." You could hear the smile on her face as she said those words. ,,Everything alright?" She asked. ,,Yeah, just had Dinner, and you?" I was laying on my bed with the telephone in my hand, looking at the ceiling. ,,My mother is making Dinner right now. I just got out of the shower. Now i'm pretty cold." She laughed lightly. ,,But whatever. What are you up to?" She asked now. ,,Oh, just chilling. And i thought about you, so i thought 'why not call Luna?', and here i am." 

,,Hey Remus." Luna started. ,,Mh?" I looked interested through the room, waiting for Luna to continute talking. ,,I know we don't know each other but, would you like to come to my house on Friday? It's my bithday then and my friends would also come." She asked me. Suprised i said: ,,Yeah sure. But i don't know where you live." I said and searched for a pen and a piece of paper. I wrote down Lunas phonenumber and after she told me where she lived also her adress. 

We talked for a bit, until she told me that she now had to go for Dinner. We made up that we would talk on the next day and then said our goodbyes.
