I've Loved You Since The Summer Of 1899
Author's Note:This is non alpha-verse, Albus and Gellert have a fictional medical condition that makes them able to bear children.
Though Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald have been in love since they first met in the Summer of 1899, neither of them has plucked up enough courage to confess their love to the other man, fourtnately, Newt Scamander, of all people, is playing matchmaker for the two wizards, for one week, Albus buys Gellert gifts he wants, tells him things he agrees with, then demonstrates his wisdom, courage and strength, earning the swooning of the blond wizard in the process!
Albus and Gell now blush when they gaze on each other, but look away should the other catch them gazing on them!
Gellert notices that Albus keeps glancing his way, his lovely blue eyes sparkling like the stars in the night sky. The stars foretell of them becoming a couple and eventually marrying to raise their own honeybees and children one day, but they must confess first to make this fate a reality!
"I see you eyeing me, Albie, make no mistake, you're totally into me."
"I guess there's no denying, yeah, I'm into you. But I'm too shy to tell you how I feel at the moment."
"I'll wait for you to be ready, no need to rush."
"Thanks, as I need time to prepare myself for such a big moment in my life. My words needs to be perfect and eloquent. I need to bring gifts, too. I also need to clean up and dress nice."
"All of this for little old me? How sweet of you."
"I can only confess to you at a certain time on a Friday under a particular tree that has a myth about it."
"Ooh, what kind of tree? And what is the myth about it? You've piqued my interest."
"It's called a Sakura Tree, Gellert. The myth is if you confess your love to someone under that particular tree on a Friday, they are guaranteed to accept your confession."
"I'd love to test this myth with you. Let me know when you're ready to meet me here."
"I will. My tell for that is:I'll hand you a pink paper with a note regarding my feelings on it."
"Got it, Albus."
Over the next 4 days, Albus and Gellert buy gifts for one another, fancy clothes and practice their confessions in the mirror! Just picutre the Confession Theme from Yandere Simulator playing in the background as they confess to each other! Newt practices playing the Confession Theme on a piano so it's perfect for that day!
After all this practice, Newt can play the Confession Theme on the piano with intricate perfection, now Albus and Gellert are ready to confess to each other!
Friday afternoon, Albus gives Gell the note, which he recognizes as Albus's tell that he is ready to confess! The two showered hours ago, so they go switch into their outfits and grab their gifts for each other, seeing this, Newt rushes to the piano he placed near the tree and sits at it!
After he finishes dressing up, Albus stands behind the Sakura Tree, at 5:55 PM, Gellert rushes up in front of it, as the clock strikes 6 PM, Albus cues Newt, who begins playing the Confession Music on his piano!
"Hello, Albie. I got your note. What do you want to say?"
Taking a deep breath to relax himself, Albus smiles at Gell first...
"Thank you for coming, Gell. Please listen up, because I have something really important to say. I can’t stand being your friend anymore, it takes a lot of courage to say this…I…I love you, Gellert Grindelwald! I love you more than anything else in the world!"
Albus pants and sees Gell blush and smile at him! Gell smiles at Albus's words, as he feels the same way about him!
"Albus, to tell you the truth, I feel the same way about you. I’ve been in love with you for years, ever since we first met when we were 17 in the summer of 1899, that’s one thing that will never change about me, for I’ll always be in love with you. I really really love you, Albus Dumbledore, my adorable little bumblebee. Would you be my…Boyfriend?"
Smiling, Albus cries in happiness that Gell has accepted his confession!
"Thank you so much, Gell, please never leave me, darling! Should we make a new blood troth to each other under this very tree? It’ll hold more meaning!"
Gellert doesn’t hesitate and nods, the two pull out their wands, cutting their palms and clasping their hands together, then they start making vows to one another!
"Will you be mine forever and one day marry me, love?"
"I will, darling. Will you strive to make me your happy little bumblebee?"
"Yes I will. Will you ever stand against me?"
"No, as that will break this sacred promise we're making. Will you be there for me in sickness and health?"
"I will. This next vow pertains to our shared ability to birth children. Will you be by my side when I bear your children?"
"I will. And will you, in turn, be by my side when I give your children life?"
"Yes I will. Will you promise me your hand in marriage?"
"I will. Will you promise to never love another?"
"I promise you that I'll never love another, for I could never love another as much as I love you, my heart beats only for you. If we one day die, will you hold me in your arms and comfort me as I die?"
"I will. And will you, in turn, hold me in your arms, kiss me and comfort me the day we both die?"
"I will, darling."
With all the vows said, their blood mixes together in a blood troth pendant, which the two will swap the one wearing it, Newt has trained his Niffler better in this timeline, so it no longer steals shiny objects.
Hand in hand, Albus and Gellert share a tender kiss as Sakura Blossoms fall around them.
