Summary
This is just going to be a big jumble of ships coming and going through the story with chapters from everyone's perspective. I don't really know what I'm doing but I need a hobby so I hope you enjoy and love these characters as much as I do!Relationships- Wolfstar, Jegulus, marlylily, dorlene, rosekiller, we go through both jilly and bartylus but neither of them are endgame. Pandora is there but she is an Aro/Ace queen who is content by herself and Peter might end up with somebody, I'm not sure yet.I don't actually know where this is going so let's hope I don't get depressed and write a canon compliant fic or main character death and there is a happy ending. I don't know how long it will be and there will probably be an OC or two along the way so we are all in for a surprise! If you are reading this I already love you so just bear with me would you :)

Lily Evans > Those Posh Boys

I am lying awake in the middle of the night, my thoughts still racing from learning about Magic because it still all seems so surreal and because insomnia is a bitch. It's around 2:30 when I start to hear the hushed voices coming from a bed to my right, Sirius and James. It almost sounds like one of them is crying and the other is trying to comfort them. As the whole, I wish they would have invited me, thoughts start to seep in, I do my best to push them away. Instead I force myself to think, great, they have known each other for maybe 20 hours and they are already sharing secrets at twilight, what a bunch of poofs. In the end I take one of the sleeping pills we were given in the home, supposed to be for sleepless nights, but now I can’t sleep without them. Hey, maybe there is a spell that will help me sleep better, I'm running really low on pills. Do real wizards even use spells? I know they use wands, I just got one yesterday, I really know absolutely nothing about what is going on in this school.

The next morning we are given our schedules after breakfast and told to look for our classrooms and get a lay of the land, our classes start tomorrow. Sirius and the other boys excitedly compare schedules while I read through my own.
Mondays- Charms, Herbology, Potions, and Defense Against the Dark Arts
Tuesdays- Transfiguration, Charms, Flying, History of Magic
Wednesdays- Herbology, Transfiguration, Charms, Potions
Thursdays- History of Magic, Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts
Fridays- Charms, History of Magic, Herbology, Potions
Saturdays and Sundays were break days and we had an astronomy class on wednesday nights
at 10:00pm, a few breaks scattered throughout our days. Reading the schedule freaked me out a little bit, flying class?? I can already tell you I will hate that class, whatever it is. History of Magic does seem a bit interesting though, maybe I can learn more about whatever world I just got myself wrapped into. I start to wonder how many other fantastical books I have read are real. I mean, if magic is real? Sirius walks over and snaches my schedule away, pulling me away from my thoughts, going over to compare my classes with everyone else's.
“Ugh lucky, Remus! You have all your classes with Sirius!” James shouts out a moment later, “We've got a good number together too, and you've got Pete with you in Herbology.”
Oh Joy, I mumble under my breath, I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with Sirius in all of my classes, he for some reason thinks that we are friends.
“Were going for a walk around the school to find our classes, want to come with?” James continues. He seems to be too nice for his own good, almost like he can't take a hint.
“I'll catch up with you in a bit, there's a few things I need to get sorted first, thanks though.” I reply, and bless the lord it works, they go off on their own and I set off on my own mission to find a class or two.

I am walking through the dungeons, on my way to find the potions classroom, when I run straight into one redheaded Lily Evans, she is blabbering to a greasy haired boy who looks about ready to shoot her head off and I already don't like him. Lily, only now realizing that she had run right into someone, too caught up in her own story, turns and apologies.
“Oh! Hey, Remus, right? So sorry I didn't see you there, on your way to find potions? You’re going the wrong way, follow us, this way.”
She talked in such a rush I barely had time to nod before I was being turned around and ushered towards where the potions classroom should be. It didn't take much longer than that before I realized that Lily Evans and I were going to end up being best friends. On the other hand Snape, the greasy haired boy, is scowling at me like I just murdered his dog and I have no clue what I did to upset him already. We definitely aren't going to get along. It's unfortunate that Lily and him seem to be friends, her obvious kindness is dimed significantly by Snapes natural frown.

Later that evening, after a busy day of walking around the school, Lily and I find ourselves sitting at the long Gryffindor table waiting for dinner to appear. That's what the food does here, it appears, it's not served, it just appears. How strange is that? A few moments later Peter, James and Sirius stumble into the hall, laughing about something stupid, and sit themselves right across from where i'm sitting with Lily glued to my right. Just like I thought we have already become good friends. After we lost Snape during our journey through the castle we got a chance to talk and we bonded over our pettiness, lack of knowledge when it comes to magic, love of literature and a muggle artist or two. While I dont have every class with her, she will follow the same class schedule as James so we will be together alot.
“Hey Remus!” Sirius says grinning, it's a grin that causes a slight twinge in my stomach and I can't quite figure out why. I just nod a hello as James starts to question what I did today.
“Where were you mate? You said you would catch up with us while we walked. Is everything okay?”
“Yea, all is good, sorry, I was just with Lily. Got distracted, forgot, you know?” I answer him, gesturing over to where Lily is sitting beside me.
“Hey! Lily Evans, and you are?” Lily inquires, saving me from any awkwardness, while extending a hand directly across the table for James to shake. Instead of taking her hand or offering his name he just stares at Lily, like he's completely enamored by her and has forgotten how to function. I've seen people act like that in movies.
“I’m Sirius, Sirius Black.” The other boy buds in instead, shaking Lily’s hand, at an angle, from across the table. “That's James, and Pete is to my right.”
“Nice to meet you all.” She responds with slight confusion and she shoots James a look of what I have come to recognize as disgust. And with that, she turns back to join my current conversation about what flying is with Marlene, one of Lily’s dorm mates, whose older brother is apparently a really good flier.

Lily Evans perspective-
Today was our first full day at Hogwarts. It was also a really good day. I started talking to Remus, the poor thing doesn't know anything about magic. At first he was really shy, kinda like a lost puppy, apologizing profusely for bumping into us. After he warmed up to me it was obvious that it was just a cover and that once you get to know him he's really just an ass. I finally know what my family means when they say I'm blunt, Remus holds nothing back. He thinks it, he says it. He's a thoughtful person though. Despite being as blunt as he is, he’s careful with his words, and doesn't say anything without meaning, he’s witty too. I can tell he has great ideas hidden somewhere in his brain and that you wouldn't want to be in a fight with him, he knows just what to say and he would be able to cut you where it hurts. I think that's why I can already, safely, say I love him. He didn't talk about his family once, has a bunch of weird cuts on his face and up his arms, and he swears like all the time. I also learned that he hates school but that he loves to read, that his favorite food is chocolate, and that his favorite color is green. “Green like your eyes”, he had said, that made me flush an embarrassing shade of red but he just laughed it off. I hate that he is stuck with the posh, is how he described them, boys. After he complained about them all day, I met them for real at dinner. James had just stared at me which I found very rude and Sirius was so full of himself he just went right in and talked for all of them. Peter seems nice enough though, funny and shy, he's just fallen in with the wrong group of guys. All in all they sound nightmarish to live with.

On the other hand, Remus and Marlene seem to get along. I share a dorm with Marlene, Mary and Alice. Alice is a year older than us and she is SO cool, like she plays quidditch for fun with her best friend Frank, he's already on the team as a second year! She always says she hates him though so I am not sure why they are best friends. Mary seems nice enough, she is a muggle born like me but she's a bit materialistic. Earlier today I told her that and she just stared at me and said that she has no clue what that word means. She's 11, does she not read, how does she not know that? I definitely get along with Marlene though, I wonder if Remus, Marlene and I could form like a pack, I think the three of us would get along swimmingly. My only issue with today was Snape, he seems more fussy than usual. Like when it was just the two of us he had barely paid attention to what I had to say but as soon as Remus shows up he gets all jealous and storms off because someone else has my attention. Who knows, I always joke that he’s got his period before me, I basically expected him to act like that at this point.
