Marcus Flint x reader
Dating the captain of the slytherin quidditch team was not how people perceived it to be, when I was asked out by him and said yes, my friends thought I was on drugs or that he drugged. Others gave me pity looks thinking that I regretted it and that he was not letting me leave him, crazy theories I know.
But all of it is false, dating him brought more joy in my life, he would protect me well he's too overprotective but still, he holds my hand whenever he can and he would ask for consent, like before he would kiss me he asks if I am comfortable and I love him so much.
Like usual I was wandering around the halls after curfew heading towards the astronomy tower, I do this alot, nobody not even Marcus knows where I go every night. Obviously Marcus grew curious over time but I told him not to worry. Once I reach the top of the tower, I stand at the ledge and enjoy the view.
Marcus pov:
As usual y/n left our cuddle session to go somewhere. I know she tells me not to worry but I do, well there are a bunch of other guys who like her and they still do, so I am scared that she will leave me for one of them. I can't help it, I follow her. I want to know why she leaves all these nights, a horrendous thought strikes me, what if she's cheating on me?
She can't cheat, she's the best thing that has ever happened to me. She's the flash light to my dark life (cheesy line 🤠🧀)
As I followed her, I couldn't help but worry. If she really is cheating, how do I confront her? As the thoughts I get become more heartbreaking, I stop at the bottom of the stairs of the Astronomy tower? She is standing at the edge, is she going to jump? No she cant, I run up the stairs as quick as I can to try to stop her.
