Adrian pov:
I watched her from afar, ever since first year when I saw her in the library. Marcus and the other quidditch players would always tease me when they catch me staring at her. Her blond hair glistering under the sun and the way her eyes brighten, her smile alone just makes my knees weak. Allura Malfoy has me wrapped around her pinky and she doesn't even know that yet.
Her name Allura means power of attraction and boy does she have a lot and I mean a lot of admirers. I remember in first year on valentine day, she got the most love letters and chocolate than the whole school combined, her letters coming from other schools and ours. Her parents, Lucius and Narcissa have had many marriage contracts, I know for a fact they haven't accepted any which I am relieved about but I know that there is a guy that will win her heart and I want that to be me.
Allura pov:
"Babes," a voice shouted in the great hall. Heads turn towards my best friend, James Avery. Many people assumed we were dating although we aren't and James well he just calls me pet names like 'baby', 'darling', 'honey', 'babes', 'princess' so that did not help the rumor of us dating.
James is gay and has a boyfriend from drumstrang, Otis Graham. I met him and I can see why James likes him, he has this personality that just attracts people to him and like me he has many admirers. The heartbreak those girls are going to feel, honestly. And when I ranted about those rumors to him, he laughed like who laughs when there are rumors that their significant other is dating someone like who.
"James, what did I say about those pet names" I lightly scolded once he sat next to me. He shrugged and filled up his plate. Ugh boys, I thought with an eye roll. I joined him in eating and chatted with him, not noticing the sad eyes watching us.
Adrian pov:
"He likes her," I exclaimed to my friends as I watched them. All of them sighed, Marcus snapped his fingers in front of my face, causing my attention to shift to them.
"Look Adrian" Marcus sighed, "We love you man, we really do but we are annoyed. Allura and James aren't dating at all."
Terrance continued, "You know I heard from Nott who heard from Daphne who heard from Pansy, that Draco heard that Lucius and Narcissa are going to find a suitor for her, during yule break they are going to discuss with her the options."
The others look as surprised as me at this information, she is only 16 which is quite young especially since most parents only find suitors at 17 and then by 18 they are married. "So you better man up and ask her out" he finished.
I only nodded already thinking of possible ways, I better hurry
