Are you going to ignore me all day, a bhobain?

3 months later

Barnaby

Barnaby woke up alone for the first time in a long time. He was sad until he remembered what today was. It was his wedding day! This was the day that he was marrying his Ruby!

There was a knock on his bedroom door. It had to be his son. “Pops, time to get up. I have breakfast ready. Dad is in the shower, so I have to go back soon so I can fight with his hair.”

Barnaby giggled as he jumped out of his bed. He slipped on his robe and opened the door. There stood his beautiful son with an enormous smile on his face.

“It’s your wedding day!” Harry threw his arms around him. At 5 months pregnant, he could feel the baby bump. Barnaby was already in love with his grandchild. All three of them get to go to the next healer's visit. They get to see the baby that day.

“It is my wedding day! I can’t believe it is here! So Ruby is in the shower and you made me breakfast. Have you eaten? You need to eat with me. It is going to be a long day and you need to take care of yourself.” Barnaby pushed them both towards his small kitchen. This would be the last time that he had breakfast alone in this apartment.

“I’ve eaten, but I could eat more. Pooh Bear is always hungry. I made cinnamon rolls with fruit. I tried to make eggs but your grandchild said no.” Barnaby chuckled, Harry has been having trouble eating some foods. He would always blame it on their grandchild.

“That’s okay. I’m not in the mood for eggs, anyway. You said Ruby was in the shower? I guess I should do that after I finish this delicious breakfast.”

“Yes, I have to do Dad’s hair, then get him all dressed and ready. After that, I am going to check on the food. I have the others setting up the chairs and the tents.” Harry stuffs a cinnamon roll into his mouth as his other hand stroked his small baby bump.

“After that, you come straight back here to rest for a bit while I get ready. I will not have my son overdoing it today.” Barnaby didn’t want this day to be stressful for his family. It was a special day!

“Maybe a small nap. I packed you for your honeymoon. Don’t give me that look. I told you I would be okay. You are only going to be gone for a week. I can be alone for 7 days. Plus Pops, you have never been to Scotland. The house my bio parents left me is beautiful.”

Harry insisted that they both took a honeymoon. Barnaby didn’t like to leave Harry all alone and Rubeus didn’t either. Though Harry could give his Ruby puppy dog eyes and the half-giant would do whatever he wanted him to do. Barnaby couldn’t be mad about it. It was cute. He couldn’t wait to see Ruby as a grandad.

“Yes, I know you will be fine. I’m still allowed to worry. You should go to your dad. He is probably done by now and the sooner you do that, the sooner you can rest.” The younger man rolled his eyes but stood up, taking a banana with him.

“I’ll be back soon. I want to help you dress. Don’t do it without me!” Harry ordered as he took a bite of the banana.

“Of course. I’ll eat real quick and shower.” Barnaby watched as Harry popped away. He hummed to himself, he was getting married to the man of his dreams.

Hagrid

“Dad! Stop fussing! I can’t get a comb through your hair if you keep moving.” Harry scolded him. Hagrid tried to sit still, but he couldn’t help but move. He was getting married today. Rubeus Hagrid is getting married today.

“I can’t help it, sorry. I didn’t sleep well last night. I’m used to Barnaby being in bed with me. Then I have been thinkin’ about what if he doesn’t want to marry me anymore. I wouldn’t want to. marry me.” The half-giant sobbed out and buried his face in his hands. His son sighed and sat down next to him, small hands pulled his away from his face.

“Daddy, of course, Barnaby, wants to marry you. You are the best man I know.” Hagrid watched as tears slid down his son’s face. “You can tell by the way he looks at you. I could only dream that one day I will have what you guys have. Earlier, he was very excited. So please don’t think that. I don’t want to cry anymore until your actual wedding.” Hagrid’s son kissed his cheek and started back on his hair. The younger man combed and put three types of product on it. His hair never looked better. Instead of frizz, his hair laid in curls on his shoulder.

“You are so handsome, Dad! Barnaby will not know what to do. He is going to jump you as soon as he sees you!” Harry wiped a tear from his cheek. His poor son has been a ball of emotions since he got pregnant.

“Thank ya, Harry! I don’t know what I would have done without ya.” Hagrid pulled his son into a hug. The smaller man cuddled into him.

“You will never have to find out, Dad. I’m going to get tears and snot on your robe.” Harry pulled away and looked up at him with tired eyes.

“Ya should lie down for a bit. We have a while before the wedding.” Hagrid cupped his son’s cheeks.

“You and Pops, I don’t think I look that bad. I am going back over to Pops to help him, but I think he is going to make me take a nap. Don’t worry about me on your big day.”

“Ya, my son. I will always worry about ya. Just like ya will always worry about ya own.” He placed a kiss on his son’s forehead before he ushered him away.

Harry

Harry was proud of himself. He only cried a few times during the ceremony. Both of his parents looked fantastic. The music, flowers, and even the weather was perfect for them. For a springtime outdoor wedding, it was warm.

His job was almost done for the day. It was time to eat. Harry looked over everything before he announced the grooms could start off. There were few guests. It was what both of them wanted. Harry was avoiding his dad’s side. Pappy and his Minny were there. He wanted to go talk to them, but he didn’t want to tell them about the pregnancy. What he was wearing helped hide it.

“Are you going to ignore me all day, a bhobain?” A familiar voice scolded. Harry groaned inwardly and turned around. He plastered a smile on his face when he saw his Minny.

“Minny! No, I wasn’t ignoring you! I have just been busy making sure Dad’s special day was perfect! I’m so happy to see you!” Harry kissed both of her cheeks. His always serious grandmother smiled and kissed him back.

“It is a beautiful wedding. Barnaby seems like a perfect match for your Da. I came to warn you, Albus has brought a plus one.” Harry didn’t think his grandfather would ever date, not after the love of his life turned out to be who he was.

“Oh, I’m glad that he has found someone.” Harry needed to sit down, so he held out his arm to his grandmother to find a spot to sit.

“Oh, a bhobain, the plus one isn’t for him. We have a boy who is your age that is apprenticing with your Auntie Pomona.” The older witch's face frowned as she patted his hand.

“Minny, please tell me you are joking. Why would he bring someone to my parent’s wedding for me? This is not the time for a blind date.” His grandfather has always been crazy, but recently it has gotten worse.

“I know, but the best thing you could do is just meet the boy. He is sweet, but I know your type and he is not. Look over towards the table and you will see him. He is the blond one. He has grown into himself over the past couple of years.” Harry peered over at his grandfather's table and there sat a man next to him. He took a long look. The man wasn’t bad looking, with blond shaggy hair, and blue eyes. Charlie, he was not, but it wasn’t like he was with Charlie, anyway.

“Minny….” Harry pleaded. He pouted out his bottom lip. That look had always helped him when he was a kid.

“Harry, my boy!” He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Today was supposed to be a good day. The nosey old man never could just be happy.

“Pappy, we were just talking about you.” Harry looked up at his grandfather and there stood the blond.

“I thought my ears were burning. Harry, I would like you to meet Neville Longbottom. He is an apprentice at Hogwarts. He graduated the same year you would have if you went to Hogwarts.” The old man always brought up that Harry didn’t go to Hogwarts.

“Hiya Harry.” Neville held out his hand. Harry didn’t want to be rude, so he shook his hand. He thought about his name, and it hit him. This was the other boy who lost his parents because of Voldemort. Harry felt like he had lead in his stomach.

“Hi Neville, it’s nice to meet you. Thank you for coming to my parent's wedding. I’m sorry if my grandfather pulled you here. I know how persuasive he can be.” Harry glared at the old wizard, not so playful.

“We should let these two talk, Minerva.” His grandfather pulled at his grandmother. There was a look of disgust on her, but she sighed and walked away from the table.

“You should have a seat. He won’t quit that easily.” Harry flicked his wrist and the chair across from him pulled out.

“Uh, thanks.” Neville sat down and looked down at his hands. “I’m sorry to crash your parents' wedding. The headmaster wouldn’t take no for an answer.” The blond smiled weakly at him. He did look like a sweet guy and not his type at all.

“It’s fine. I know how he is. I want to be honest with you Neville, you seem like a wonderful guy, but I’m not looking for a relationship right now.” Harry wanted to tell him before this would go any further.

“Oh erm, that’s fine. I’m not either. I mean I am.. I mean, I like someone else. Someone who still thinks of me as a child, a stupid child.” Neville shrugged and rolled his eyes. “How about a friend? I don’t have many of those, actually. I was always an outcast in school.”

Harry nodded. “Of course, I don’t have many friends either. It would be great to have a new friend. I’m sorry about the stupid person who thinks of you as a child.”

“It’s alright, everyone thinks I’m mad because I like him but there is just something about him.” Harry placed himself on top of Neville’s and squeezed.

“You love who you love, Neville.” Harry’s stomach rumbled. Pooh Bear was hungry. “How about we go get some food Neville, and you can tell me more about this stupid person?”

Charlie

Charlie stared at his wrist. The black leather bracelet wrapped around it. He couldn’t bring himself to take it off. That day played in his head over and over. Why did he act that way? Harry didn’t deserve how he talked to him, but what could he do?

He has had a long time to think about everything. Charlie completed his physical therapy and is out of that fucking chair. The new prosthetics felt perfect. His mum treated him like a child. Bill hasn’t spoken to him since he told him off in the hospital.

While he was doing physical therapy he was told that he should look into a mind healer. That was the last thing Charlie wanted to do. There was nothing wrong with his mind.

When Charlie woke up, he remembered today was Barnaby and Hagrid’s wedding. He wondered how beautiful Harry looked today, his emerald green eyes. Crazy raven-colored hair that stuck up everywhere. That damn smile, the one that was just for him.

“You should get your head out of your arse and go see him.” His sister sighed as she sat next to him. “You sitting here will change nothing. You need to beg for forgiveness. I doubt that you would have to beg that much. Harry is head over heels in love with you. Or he was before you fucked it up.” Ginny smirked and popped a flavored bean into her mouth.

“I don’t think begging would work Gin, I said some things that I wouldn’t forgive.”  Charlie rubbed his face and groaned. It was useless.

“Good thing Harry isn’t you. Go on, you are driving Mum mad.” Charlie growled and stood up, a lot more fluid than he has in such a long time. It’s still odd how well he can move around now.

Charlie floo’d to his old cabin. When he got there, it was empty. Everyone was probably at the wedding. Charlie looked down at himself. He flicked his wand to change his clothes into a dress robe.

When Charlie found the tents, he saw Hagrid and Barnaby. They looked so happy. He missed Barnaby. The smaller wizard was feisty. Charlie’seyes roamed around until they landed on the reason he came. Harry had a big smile on his face, gods he missed that smile. He looked more beautiful than he ever had.

Then his heart dropped to his stomach. He noticed Harry wasn’t alone. A blond sat next to him. His hand was on top of Harry's on the table. Charlie was too late, Harry moved on. Of course, he would move on. He didn’t give Harry any reason to wait for him. He told him to fuck off. Charlie growled and walked as fast as he could back towards the cabin.

When he stepped out of the floo, Ginny stared at him. “I take it didn't go well.”

“Fuck off, Ginny.” Charlie made it to his room before he cried angry tears. The premonition must have changed after everything. He changed his future for the worst and not the better.
