Get the fuck out
Harry
Harry left a sleeping Charlie this morning. His boyfriend hadn’t been feeling well. He honestly hasn’t since after the New Year. Charlie was trying to hide it, but Harry knew how the man was.
It was time to do morning feedings. Harry walked into the demiguise exhibit. When he did, the magic was heavy in the air and Ruya was glowing blue. A premonition! A blue haze clouded Harry's vision. He was getting pulled in.
When Harry opened his eyes, he saw him holding a red-headed baby next to Luna who was holding a strawberry blond baby who was around the same age.
“I’m so happy that our babies can grow up together! When I found out I was pregnant with Pooh Bear, I thought I was crazy that demiguise would give me a vision of it!” Luna laughed. This couldn’t be right. That would mean he was pregnant right now. Harry placed his hand on his stomach.
“Charlie was the same way. I won’t tell you what he saw, but it won’t happen for a little while.” She said dreamily.
Charlie saw a premonition, and he hadn’t told him yet? What was he hiding?
Harry felt himself being pulled out of the premonition. Pregnant! He had to check!
With a pop, he was back in his cabin. Harry checked around to see if Charlie was still there, but the bed was made.
Okay, so he is alone and he can run the diagnostic spell. Thankfully, he had to do this to the animals frequently, so he had no problem with the spell. He flourished with his wand and. chanted the spell under his breath. The glow that appeared around his stomach made him gasp. He was pregnant! He was going to have a baby with Charlie!
The door opened and Harry turned around quickly and saw a very pale Charlie.
“Charlie!” Harry ran towards him. The taller man swayed and Harry wrapped his arms around him and felt the heat. Charlie was burning up.
“‘M okay, jus’ ‘ired” Charlie slurred. Harry popped them away to the wizard hospital. He sent a patronus to his parents to let them know what was going on and that he would let them know as soon as possible.
“Help!” Harry yelled, then the Medi witch summoned a bed and rushed off with Charlie. He had to be okay, right? He had the promotion!
Charlie
Charlie grumbled as he felt the pounding in his head. Where was he? The last thing he remembered was being at work. He opened his eyes and thankfully; the room was dim. Charlie knew where he was and he didn’t want to be there. Fuck, why was he in the hospital? Then he remembered hurting and then being cold, but hot. His whole body ached as he tried to move. No, this wasn’t good. He had to get out of here. Charlie hated the hospital. Nothing good ever happened in a hospital.
He tried to move again when the smell of burnt flesh and blood flooded his senses. Pain flared up his thighs. Charlie was stuck. He wasn’t there, he couldn’t be there, he was fine.
“Charlie! You are awake! Oh, gods, I was so scared!” Harry! That was Harry’s voice! He wasn’t back there, but why was he in the hospital? The younger man cupped his face and wiped away the tears. He didn’t even know he was crying.
“What happened? Why am I here? I don't want to be here!” Charlie tried to move again and pain seared through him. Harry tried to help him, but he didn’t want to be touched.
“DON’T!” Charlie yelled. The smaller wizard jumped back with wide eyes.
“I… I’m sorry, you were sick, Charlie. You were burning up, and you started slurring your words and I was so scared. I brought you to the hospital, and they found out that you had an infection. A.. A blood infection Charlie!” Those green eyes turned quickly from worry to anger. “Why didn’t you tell me you were hurting? I saw your legs, Charlie, they had sores all over them and they were infected! Why didn’t you tell me? I could have done something! They said that your prosthetics didn’t fit you properly. That you shouldn’t have been wearing them. Why would you wear them if they didn’t fit you? Why would you wear something that was hurting you? Why were you keeping this from me?” Harry sobbed.
No, Harry would not do this to him. He would not sit there and yell at him. Not when he was in this place. “I don’t have to tell you a damn thing! I didn’t ask you to bring me to this fucking place! I would have rather died than be in this place! Did you think for one minute why I didn’t get new prosthetics?” Charlie yelled louder, his chest tightening. It was getting harder to breathe.
“I couldn’t afford new prosthetics. Not everyone has dead parents that left him millions! I did what I could do, I took potions, and I got ointments. I kept it from you because it is none of your damn business. I don’t need you to take care of me!” Harry winced as if Charlie hit him. Did he really bring up Harry’s dead parents? It didn’t matter what he said, he said it. It would be better if Harry hated him and left. Charlie was always going to be broken; he couldn't even be in a hospital without freaking out. It didn’t matter what his future was. If Charlie didn’t have his legs, it didn’t matter. What life would Harry and their child have with him?
“If that is how you feel, then that’s fine, Charlie. You are right, why should you tell me? I’m just your boyfriend, who loves you. I would have made sure that you had new prosthetics if you couldn’t afford them. As you said, I have millions that my dead parents left me! That is what you do with your partner. You help each other! Though it doesn’t matter anymore, does it?” Harry yelled, his hand clenched in a fist at his sides. Charlie needed to end this.
“No, it doesn’t. Get the fuck out, Harry.” Charlie was eerily quiet. He turned his head and closed his eyes. His heart pounding in his chest, he had to get Harry to leave so he could try to get out of there. Then he felt Harry’s magic and then heard the pop of his apparation.
Harry
Harry popped into his childhood home. He fell to the ground on his knees and sobbed. Gods, why now, after what he found out today? Why!
“Harry!” He heard his dad’s voice, and he was soon being held by the half-giant. “Talk to me, Harry. Is Charlie okay?” Harry shook his head. “Barnaby!”
The smaller wizard ran into the room. “Oh, Hunny! What’s wrong? Is it Charlie? Ruby lay him down.” Harry shook his head again and clung to his dad. He needed his dad!
“Okay, Harry, I won’t put ya down, but I’m going to sit down and we are gonna talk.” His dad sat down on the couch with his son still in his lap. Barnaby sat down next to him and rubbed his back.
“Harry, Hunny you are scaring you’re scaring us, please tell us what is going on?” Harry tried to stop his sobbing only for it to get worse.
“I…. I’m p… pregnant…” Harry hiccuped out. “Ch… Charlie told me to leave. He didn’t t.. tell me he needed help and…”
“He told you to leave after you told him you were pregnant?!” Barnaby yelled. He was scary when he was angry.
Harry shook his head again. “I... I haven’t told him. I... I just found out today. He doesn’t want me anymore. I... I can’t tell him. I won’t!” Harry looked up into his dad’s sad brown eyes.
“Ya don’t have to, Harry. You have your family. I have never left you, an’ I never will.” The half-giant kissed him on the forehead.
“Damn right Ruby! Harry, we love you and we will support you in whatever you want to do.” Barnaby wrapped his arms around him as well. Harry nodded and closed his eyes. He listened to his dad’s heartbeat until he cried himself to sleep.
