It took Lily thirty minutes of hugging Petunia before she let go. She had to make sure her sister was real, was here, and not just her cruel mind playing tricks on her.

"Are you really here?" she sobbed, her eyes full of tears.

"I am, Lils." Petunia smiled, with her left cheek just a tad bit higher than the right. It was the same smile Lily remembered.

"Where have you been all these years?" Lily asked. "It has been fourteen years, Tuney. No one has known where you are, how you have been, anything."

They were given some privacy by the Marauders, but Lily still felt James' gaze bearing down on the back of her head. She ignored him, and Petunia sat still.

"That time," Petunia began. "I thought that man was just some psycho, and he would kill me quickly. At least Lily is safe; I kept thinking that over and over again. But, what he did was so much more terrible."

Without speaking, Lily listened intently, too afraid to speak for fear of losing the truth if she did.

Petunia gazed at Lily. "He gave me something to drink, and I know my fate, so I drank that." "I was woken up in a building with more than fifty kids my age. We were forced to sleep in bunk beds and then trained to do something... The number of children decreased every week until only sixteen remained."

"These children... what happened to them?" Sirius asked behind Lily, and she looked at him crossly. "You said there would be fewer children every week."

She glanced out of the window and said, "They are dead. Either from accident or else." Petunia said with added sadness. "The ones that died earlier are the luckiest. After a month, it was hell."

Lily grabbed her sister's hand and asked, "Why are you here? Are they looking for you? Do you need a safe place?"

"Oh, gods, no. Papa will never be able to reach us, let alone me, again. I ensured that five years ago." Petunia mused before snorting.

"Papa?" Lily inquired with a puzzled expression on her face.

"Yeah, the man that kidnapped me insisted we call him Papa. Quite a cunt, that one," Petunia scoffed. "We gave him mercy."

'Are you safe now? Is that why you came back?' Lily's voice was hopeful. "Are we able to be together once again?"

The smile Petunia gave Lily was one she remembered well, for it was the last smile she had seen from her fourteen years ago.

"I came here because I thought you had left this place," Petunia confessed. "I never intended to find you here. I just wanted to retrieve something we buried many years ago. Do you remember the time capsule we buried?"

"Why?" Lily demanded. "I just got you back. I don't want to lose you again, Tuney. I lost mum and dad, and I got you back. Now you tell me I will lose you again?"

In frustration, Lily got up, already shedding tears. Her eyes were fixed on Petunia, and Lily could not recognize her for a second.

"I've done terrible things while I've been missing, Lils. Papa forced us to do it, but I was the one who dirtied my hands. If you were with me, you would never be safe." she began. "I prepared to die to save him from killing everyone."

"What?" Remus joined, confused.

"Isn't it the other way around?" Peter chimed. "Like, you save him from getting killed?"

"Oh, no. No one can kill him," Petunia waved her hands. "But we need him not to kill everyone again. We are already on the KGB's list. No need to make it worse."

"What exactly did you do, Tuney?" Lily asked. "Are you planning to save him yourself?"

Why do you need to save him? Why can't you just be here with me? Left unsaid.

Petunia opened the door rather than answering. "Come in, guys!"

In the blink of an eye, three people came to her house. Two men and a girl.

"This is Zoe," said Petunia, pointing at the brown-haired girl. She then moved up to the blond man and another blond man beside him. "This is Jace and Pietro, my friends. So I'm not alone."

Lily ignored the group and took Petunia's hand. "You are still defenceless, Tuney! Why do you need to take action like this?"

"I need to, Lils."

Lily shook her head, then reached for her wand. "No. I won't let you."

James panicked beside her. "Lils, darling, please, we don't need to escalate things. They are muggles," he whispered the last word.

But Lily stood her ground. "I won't let you go, Tuney."

Sighing, Petunia turned to the girl—Zoe. "Do you think you can handle them?"

Zoe shrugged. "They don't stand a chance."

Jace, the blond man, sighed exasperatedly. "I told you, Four, we can handle this. No need to let yourself into this mess. Now we are late."

In a quick rage, Lily blurted out, "Petrificus Totalus!"

Before James, or even Sirius, with his terrific reflex, could react, Zoe waved her hand, and Lily flew backwards; her arms were snapped to her side, and her legs sprang together.

James' eyes were wide in horror, unconsciously drawing his wand.

From behind her, she can hear Remus and Peter gasping for breath.

"You don't want to do this." Petunia said. "Zoe here can disarm you in a second, Lils. I knew you were a witch, but that doesn't mean you can flaunt it in front of the supreme witch without consequences."

There was a lot that Lily wanted to say, but the spell sealed her mouth, and Peter ran to her side. From the corner of her eye, Lily saw James, Sirius, and Remus already holding their wands.

"Jace, I need you to open the portal right now. He's getting impatient." Petunia turned to Jace, ignoring the marauders with a blunt expression on her face. "You know how cranky he gets when he's exhausted."

After taking a few moments to think about it, Jace sighed and looked at her sister. He made a circle with his hands, and suddenly, a golden light slowly siphoned from his hand out of the blue. It took the shape of a door.

The first person to enter the door, portal, warp, or whatever it turned out to be, was Jace. He was followed by Pietro and Zoe, and Petunia was the last person to enter.

"We are coming back in five or ten minutes. I will explain it to you."

As Petunia stepped inside the door, she did not say a word, and the door vanished without a trace.

Lily and everyone else was left in shock.
