Prologue
Caitlyn was lying in her bed, looking at the wall of her hotel room. Still naked, laying down on her side. « You should go » she mumbled without looking at Vi who was probably sit on the edge of the bed. It’s was too painful to look at her. She knew her by heart, and she still know her by heart.
Vi was right next to her but she felt so far away. « I should go » Vi replied back. « I’m sorry » And she started to put her clothes back.
She fought against the need of kissing her forehead before leaving, cause she didn’t want to leave her like that. But she couldn’t make this even more painful for Caitlyn or for herself. So Caitlyn just listened her ex going a way and held her tears until Vi was gone.

« Sprout ? » Jayce called out. And Caitlyn looked up at him, she was just staring at her gloves thinking about last night. « I was asking if-» then it didn’t took him much time to understand. It was written all over Caitlyn face.
« Oh » he says going to reach her little sister shoulders. They weren’t actually siblings, but they grown up together, so basically it made their relationship becoming something like a family.
Caitlyn sighed « yeah. ‘oh’ » she answered before looking down « I know it’s not what you both want, but you have to cut the link, it’s not possible, you both already saw it, it will never be possible with them. » he added knowing damn well it hurt her more, but they both had to let it go.
She didn’t answer, because she knew he is right. So just putted her helmet on and went in her car. And soon she was on the track where nothing else mattered.
