“I miss you. And I’m now married, I have a child. And I love them I really do, but I really miss you.” He looked at the star that a young boy once told him he was named after. “I wonder what would happen if we were still together and continued our life on and on.” a tear slipped from his eye running down his cheek “I really do hope we can meet again soon.” Just then there was a knock on the front door
“Can you get that, James? I’m with Harry.” a woman spoke softly from the other room
“Yeah, I’ll go get it.” James forced his feet to move away from the window and go down the door. He didn’t grab his wand. He had planned with Sirius for him to come around the house to play with Harry. Remus would join them later. They knocked again. “I’m coming! I’m coming!” Just as he opened the door expecting Sirius but instead there was a black figure standing there. Like they were inviting James to join heaven. He ran upstairs. “LILY TAKE HARRY AND GO!” He screamed knowing that now there was nothing to do except welcoming death with his bare hands. He thought his last thought would be Lily and Harry but after Voldemort casted the curse, all he could see was Regulus. He was welcoming James into heaven with a sad smile. “Reg…”

“You heard everything?”
“I’ve heard it. Now come on. Marlene missed you a lot.” James took his hand and everything went black before he saw his friends who were waiting for him.
“On Halloween? Man I’m so jealous!” Marlene laughed as she hugged him
