Hermione had been born with the black-brown splodge just over her heart, under her clavicle. All witches and wizards had this kind of mark, known as a soul mark or soul bond. Each mark was unique to only two people - soulmates.The first time Hermione had met Charlie Weasley had not been until the Quidditch World Cup. It was not until they were in the tent that Hermione was properly paying attention to him. She had already noted that he was tall and extremely attractive but what had caught her attention was the mark on his forearm that had been revealed when he had rolled up his sleeves to help his parents around the tent. She would recognise that mark anywhere, having spent years memorising the shape and details of her own. He was her soulmate.

Hi! I don't necessarily ship Hermione and Charlie but I just feel like they would be such a fun dynamic so when I had the idea for this fic, I just couldn't not write it.Anyways, I'm not quite sure how long this is going to be (seeing as it was initially supposed to be one chapter and that clearly hasn't happened) but I'm going to be uploading chapters as they're finished.
