United We Stand
Summary
Marinette, Adrien, Nino, and Alya are all actually wizards, accepted into Hogwarts late due to the magic of the Miraculouses cloaking their abilities. Bonds will strengthen, friendships will be made, and new magic is awaken. And maybe they can help Hogwarts too.
Note
Title from United We Stand song from the Quest for Camelot movie. It fits so well!!! Plus, Arthurian tales which I plan to incorporate into this fic (since Merlin is said to be a Slytherin in HP).I have a lot of ideas for this fic! I've been holding off on making it but here we are. No promises on when it will be updated and I likely will add a few s5 spoiler things at some point (I'll warn ahead of time). It shouldn't be anything s5 plotwise as we're in s3 in this fic. Mainly about the Kwagatamas to be honest. Also, this will probably be based off the movies because I have not read the HP books.

Supplies and Stuff

"Kaalki, full gallop!"

Marinette grins as she glances at her friends. She's so ready to get their supplies. And so are they as they wait excitedly for her to open a portal to England so they could go into Diagon Alley. Her hair gets longer and bushy, tied into a ponytail. The strands fade to white as wings grow over her ears and brown covers her. She blinks as similar wings appear on her ankles as well as a horseshoe boomerang.

"Well, looks like we're going to become international globe-trotters, M'Lady."

"Really, Kitty?" Marinette grins before rolling her eyes fondly. Alya and Nino stand to his side, looking a bit exasperated. Ah, right. She and Adrien have decided to get together, officially. They just haven't told anyone outside of them and their parents (minus Gabriel). Who knows what the man might do. Better not to ruin their chances of actually all going. As it is, Adrien winks at her.

"Puns are the best."

"More like a night-MARE," Marinette teases as the blond grins widely.

"I knew you had it in you!" He laughs before taking her hand. She feels a light blush overtake her face, "See, I'm already influencing you!"

"Pffttt as if," Marinette rolls her eyes. If Adrien was transformed, she'd flick his bell, "In case you didn't know, my dad has been doing puns before I ever met you."

"Ohhh, yes!" The blond grins widely, "I can learn from the true pun master!"

"Oh what have you unleashed, girl?" Alya chuckles before patting her back comfortingly, "I'm excited to go. Besides, I need to buy my bestie a gift for her 15th birthday! Why not make it magical?"

"Alya!" Marinette giggles. It's been about two weeks since they've revealed their identities to each other, and her birthday is in a few days. She's going to be 15, and she's super glad she gets to spend it with her friends (even Adrien) again. She's going to miss going to school with many of them, but at least she has her closest friends (and that means so much more knowing Adrien is Chat Noir).

"Voyage!"

A blue portal appears, leading from her room to somewhere in England. She's already told her parents that she has a way to get her supplies for her new school and they'd be gone for a few hours. Obviously, magic is going to be involved.

She waits for Nino, Alya, and Adrien to enter before she joins them. Luckily, Tikki is currently taking up temporary hiding in Adrien's shirt alongside Plagg, so she's not worried as she appears in an alleyway. She picked it so they wouldn't be seen. Apparently, from what Master Fu has told them so far, underage magic in the wizarding community is a big no-no. The Miraculous magic couldn't be tracked by the Ministry, but that doesn't mean they won't do something about it if they see it.

She checks that everyone is with her before shutting the portal with a wave.

"Dismount!"

With a flash, she's back to normal. The pony flies out of the glasses, whining softly.

"That was great fun!" Kaalki waves her hoof, "Now where are my apples, 'Nette?"

"Right here," Marinette chuckles as she holds out apple slices. The Kwami chomps them up before flying around. The rest of the Kwamis appear with small cheers, zipping around each other. Kaalki, Plagg, Tikki, Trixx, and Wayzz, "Okay, okay. You guys all have to hide now. We'll be sure to let you see Diagon Alley but you still can't be seen."

"Yeah, yeah," Trixx sighs before grinning, "I got the perfect hiding place!"

She flies up into Alya's thick hair, burying herself until only her eyes are visible, and only if you know exactly what to look for. They burst into laughter at the scene before Nino tilts his cap.

"Come on, little dude," he grins invitingly, "I bet you can see under my hat alright."

Wayzz flies under the cap, disappearing with only an eye peeking out.

"Your bag works well for me," Tikki smiles before landing inside said purse.

"Where am I supposed to go?" Plagg complains, "I usually hide in my kid's jacket but I can't see anything from there."

"Well, you can share with Tikki if you want?" Marinette asks curiously.

"If I have to, I guess…"

"Plagg…" Adrien huffs in amusement, rolling his eyes, "We all know that Tikki is your other half."

"Ew…don't get all cheesy on me and go spouting off poetry again," the feline complains with a small gag, "It's bad enough I have to listen to it about Pigtails here. Geez, I thought you'd stop after you found out her identity…"

"I can't not talk all about the girl I love," Adrien smirks joyfully at her direction. Instantly, her cheeks combust with heat. Seriously!?! How does he just say that so easily!?! He laughs before gently holding her hand and placing a kiss there. Her face grows hotter, probably matching her suit by now, "You know I'm a romantic at heart, Plagg."

"Disgusting, you watch way too many movies," Plagg gags again before sighing dramatically, "You know what? Maybe spending time with Sugar Cube would be a better idea. Then I don't have to listen to your weirdness anymore."

"Oh, come on, Stinky Sock," Tikki rolls her eyes before smiling cheerfully, "Get in here."

Said Kwami grumbles something before flying into her purse. All four of them chuckle before shaking their heads.

"So why did we teleport here again?" Nino asks curiously before peering around at the alleyway, "I'm pretty sure this isn't Diagon Alley, dudes."

"Because we need to know the entering locations of the places we go in case something happens to our Miraculouses or magic," Marinette defends her decision with a small shrug.

"Yeah, babe," Alya grins before poking at his face, "Never know what could happen. At least we know how to find this place now."

"Fair enough, I guess," Nino nods before pointing to the exit, "We ready to go?"

"Actually, there's something I want to give you guys first," Adrien smiles before rubbing his neck sheepishly, "Since we're going to have to go to the bank, I figured we needed somewhere to put our money, especially since it's all coins, as Nathalie told me. So I might have commissioned my Lady for these…"

He holds out four small baggies. Marinette stares in shock, finally understanding what he wanted them for. She had made each by hand, putting all of her love and effort into them. She was making them for her Kitty and her love so how could she not? He even paid her 100 euros per bag, much more than she would ever have agreed to. And the sneaky cat reassured her that her work is worth even more.

"Whoa! Marinette!" Alya squeals happily before grabbing up the orange bag that fades to white like a fox tail. Black cursive letters of 𝒜.𝒞. stand out well on the material, "This is awesome, girl! This was the commission you were hesitant to tell me about lately, isn't it?"

She just smiles back.

"Dude!" Nino picks up the green one that has darker turtle-shell patterns with a 𝓝.𝓛. on it in light brown, "This looks amazing! Great job! This must be what my bro was so excited about all week!"

"Oh, I was more than excited," Adrien grins before staring at his pouch in awe. It's black with little cat ears and green eyes, the tail pinching the bag shut. In the center is 𝒜.𝒜. in bright green that matches his eyes, "I could hardly wait."

"Ah, is that why you were so anxious during our recent fights, Kitty?" Marinette grins knowingly as she remembers the past week of her partner getting down to business as soon as an Akumatized person showed up.

"Of course," the cat smirks before leaning against her, a bit of a purr slipping out, "Doesn't hurt that I just enjoy spending time with my Lady. You know my house. Absolutely boring. I'd much rather relax with my head on your lap."

"You really are a cat," Alya teases Adrien before looking at her bag, "I love yours, girl!"

The youngest of the group takes her bag from her boyfriend's hand, grinning at the work. It's bright red with black spots, looking a lot like it could be one of her lucky charms. In middle has black 𝓜.𝓓.𝓒. on it and the cinch is two black strings that look almost like antennae.

"I was thinking that we could hide our Kwamis in these if we can make it bigger on the inside than the outside," Adrien admits after a moment, "Magic exists and we've seen Akumatized victims do the same thing with some of their stuff…"

"That's a great idea, Adrien," Marinette grins, "We'll have to figure out how to enchant them later but they'll work for now. We all ready to go?"

The others nod back before they start for the street.

🐱🐞🐱🐞🐱🐞

Adrien isn't all that surprised at their settings. He's been to London quite often, especially since his mother's family comes from here. His father would never have approved of going to such "dirty and deprived" places before. But his mom loved taking him to all sorts of places, for adventures his father didn't know about. Plus, he's a superhero so it's nothing he hasn't seen before. It's not like Paris doesn't have similar views.

"The Leaky Cauldron?" Nino asks with a weird look as they look at said sign. If they glance around, they see that most of the people walking by don't even seem to notice the rundown shop. Must be like the quantum masking on their suits. The crowd must be muggles, "That's kind of disgusting…"

"More like a hazardous condition," Adrien states half-jokingly, "I mean, I'm no chemist but I'm pretty sure a leaky pot leads to disaster."

"Yeah, Marinette would know all about that," Alya teases as his girlfriend (Marinette is Ladybug! And his girlfriend! Best days of his life!) blushes bright red.

"THAT WAS ONE TIME!" Marinette yelps, "It's not my fault that there was a crack in the glass!"

"I believe it," Adrien grins before shrugging, "I mean, if we're yin and yang, you're bound to have a little bad luck, right?"

"You're right," Marinette giggles before putting her hands on her hips confidently, sliding into leader mode, "So we all ready?"

"Yeah."

They enter the pub. Inside is darker with quite a few people dressed in weird robes. Adrien holds his breath, waiting for someone to recognize him. He is everywhere in Paris and even other parts of the world. But as they make their way to the bartender, he doesn't get so much as a second glance from anyone. It feels nice.

"Excuse me, sir," Marinette speaks up when they reach the bar. The man behind the counter turns after serving a drink, eyeing them before saying something to his customer and waving to them.

"Come on," he leads the way out to the back, where a brick wall stands. Adrien tenses along with his Lady automatically, too used to being tricked in similar situations. Alya and Nino stay mostly clueless, but likely because they're newbies as they all walk forward. The bartender taps a few spots on the brick wall which lead to the whole wall shifting into an opening. Adrien would be stunned speechless if he hasn't already seen all kinds of things like this while being Chat Noir.

"There you go," the man says before nodding at them, "Best be on your way. Good luck with the supply shopping, kids."

"Thank you," Adrien says back as they all slip through the entrance. They look around at all of the buildings and the street that is pretty full with people. He gazes around before pointing at a tall building in the middle of the streets, "I think that's where we have to go first."

"Ah, the bank, yeah," Alya nods before shrugging, "Money might be a thing we need. I do know that they'll exchange muggle money for wizard. Sadly, I don't think I have enough for all of my supplies and stuff…"

"We'll figure something out," Nino nods before shrugging, "I heard that the school has extra funds for people who don't have any."

"Yeah, we might have to buy second hand but we should be fine," Marinette grins before marching for the bank. Adrien stares in awe for a moment, wondering how he hadn't noticed that his Lady shines through in his Princess at times like these. He's definitely head-over-heels for her, "You coming, Kitty?"

Adrien nods before hurrying to her side. He ignores the smirks his two other best friends send him as they step inside.

"Uhhh…what are these people?" His girlfriend asks curiously, looking at the two lines of small people with sharp ears and noses. They all seem busy at work; shuffling papers, counting coins, and stuff.

"Goblins," Alya shrugs before walking on, "I probably know the most about the wizarding world out of all of us. My maman is one and everyone knows about Gringotts. The only reason I didn't learn more was because my family wasn't sure if I was a wizard or not until a few weeks ago when I received my letter. It's kind of illegal for non-magical people to know too much, which is dumb honestly. We've been surrounded by magic for years now with Hawk Moth and our heroes."

"I feel kind of left in the dark," Adrien admits after a second, "Father told me about our family. But he still didn't answer anything helpful. And Nathalie only told me enough to get some money out of here and to shop for my supplies. I don't know much of anything."

"Me neither," Marinette sends him a small smile, "None of my family are wizards. So I'm learning about everything now."

"Me too, honestly, dudes," Nino hugs both of them close, "My dad was the wizard but he wasn't around all that long before he…well, you know…I vaguely remember stories I heard growing up but I just thought they were crazy fairytales. We're all learning together, dudes!"

Adrien grins happily, glad he's not alone anymore. He loves his friends and teammates. They're his real family. He loves his father and misses his mom and cares deeply about Nathalie and Gorilla. But his house isn't his home, as sad as that is to say.

They approach the main goblin who doesn't bother to look at them. Glancing at each other, they shrug uncertainly.

"Excuse me, sir?" Marinette speaks up as the guy stops whatever he's doing to look at them with a raised brow, "We're here to withdraw some money for school supplies."

"Key?"

"We need a key?" Nino asks before wincing, "I don't think any of us have one…"

"I do," Adrien speaks up before grabbing said key from his pocket, "My father gave it to me himself."

It's a black key that is shaped almost like a butterfly. If not for the fact that Agreste is a type of butterfly common to Europe and that they've already eliminated his father from their list, he'd be worried about this meaning something deeper.

"Ah, Mr. Agreste, it's good to see you here," the goblin takes a sudden interest in him, grabbing up the key and inspecting it, "Would you also happen to have another key?"

Adrien frowns in confusion before he remembers the key he received from his maman before she disappeared. She had been getting more and more ill, and had given him it to remember her by. Even said that there were only two like it, including it. He's always carried it on him ever since he was 11. He pulls off the hidden chain he keeps in his pocket along with his lucky charm his Lady gave him around two years ago before exposing the key.

It's golden with elegant swirls and a clear crystal in the center. It's a little smaller than the Agreste one, metal at a warmer temperature, softer too.

Like his mother.

"Good, good," the goblin takes the key too, looking over it, "Now which vault do you wish to open?"

He blinks before remembering that both sides of his family are purebloods. So of course that would mean that both have vaults. He's tempted to check out his mother's side, but he decides against it. He'd rather leave it for his aunt and cousin. Besides, he has his father's side too.

"The Agreste one," he decides after a few seconds. The goblin murmurs something before giving him his golden key back, "Come this way."

Adrien glances at his friends before shrugging, following along. They come with, and none of the goblins protest so they assume it's fine. Before long, they come to a cart that sits on a track in the air.

"In you go," the goblin says before they all take a seat. Adrien sits next to Marinette with Nino and Alya behind them as the cart starts. Adrien is okay with the ride because he does similar tricks and flips as his hero self. The other three are bothered to certain degrees but they all seem to have fun anyway as the cart finally slows down to a stop, "Vault 666 here."

They follow the goblin who unlocks the mostly hidden door with the key. It slides open, revealing the inside.

"Whoa, dude! You're loaded, man!"

Adrien sees a lot of coins, many in tall piles. There's a lot of them, but it's not the only thing there. There's swords and jewels and other weird things. Among the treasure is a familiar looking necklace.

"This matches your earrings, my Lady," Adrien hisses before picking it up. It looks like a bigger black dot on silver metal. He pops open the latch, staring in shock as a glowing pink and green statue of what looks like two previous Ladybug and Chat Noir holders. They don't look like their current forms, but it's definitely them, "Are these previous Miraculous holders?"

"I think so," Marinette nods with wide eyes before glancing around the vault, "What is it doing in your family vault though?"

"I don't know," Adrien shrugs before shutting the jewelry and grinning, "But I think you should keep it. It'll look good on you."

"Really?" Marinette blushes before accepting the gift, as he slips it on her neck, "Thank you."

"You look amazing, Princess," Adrien stares at her with a small smile, "It fits you."

"Uhhh…not that we don't love you two lovebirds being cute together," Alya interrupts, "But we probably should grab some coins or something. Mr. Goblin looks ready to go."

Adrien nods before going over to the coin stashes. He grabs a few handfuls of each kind before zipping his bag up. Glancing at his friends, he sees them just waiting.

"Guys, you can take some."

"Dude, we really can't," Nino protests, "This is your money."

"Besides, you can't pay for everything of ours," Alya raises a brow, "You're rich but that's not how friends work."

"You can't buy our friendship," Marinette agrees before taking his hand in hers, "We can't take it."

"But I want you to," Adrien says honestly, "I'd rather spend my money on my friends than random junk I don't need. Besides, it's just sitting in here collecting dust. I'd feel a lot better if it had some use."

"I can't argue with that, bro," Nino chuckles before grabbing some coins and placing them in his green bag, "Besides, it's not going to be missed or anything."

"Well, if that's the case," Alya nods before pocketing some for herself, "I can't see why not. We'll just have to spoil you back."

"You guys do that all the time," Adrien laughs warmly before squeezing his Lady's hand reassuringly, "Just by being my friends."

"You need higher standards, my Prince," Marinette giggles sweetly before grabbing some coins. Adrien notes it's less than each of them got so he promises himself to slip some more into her bag when he finds the right time, "We ready to shop?"

"For sure!"

🐢🦊🐢🦊🐢🦊

Nino is excited. Well, the bank was weird and he's happy to be out of there. He might be a superhero but wild rides are not his thing. He doesn't even like roller coaster rides. He really bears them for his girlfriend who seems to be an adrenaline junkie most days. But now they're out of there and ready to get their clothes.

"Not cool, dudes," he sighs as he looks over the room. Apparently the woman who owns the shop, Madam Malkin or something, will be helping them with their robes. Robes, "Why do we gotta wear robes? Are wizards really that old-fashioned? What's wrong with a t-shirt and jeans? Our school doesn't even make us wear crap like this."

"I think they look cool," Alya shrugs as she watches another person get fitted into a school suit of some sort, "I'm excited to see what house I'll be in."

"I'm used to dressing like this on a daily basis, much better than the formal events. Those suck and are uncomfortable," Adrien says with a scrunched nose before shaking his head, "It won't be that bad. Besides, I think we're allowed to wear what we want outside of school time."

"But dudes!" He practically whines, "Robes…Robes!"

"You'll be fine," Marinette giggles sweetly before rolling her eyes a bit. He can see glimpses of Tikki and Plagg in her bag, "We all have to wear them anyway. Maybe I can make something for you to make up for this?"

"Really, dudette?" Nino grins before chilling more, "That would be awesome. Your designs are sick."

She blushes just a bit before Adrien hugs her side, making her turn bright red. Alya shoots them a smirk.

"Hello, dears," the woman interrupts them as they glance at her. Needles, thread, and tape measures float around them, waiting for instruction, "I'm Madam Malkin. How can I help you four today?"

"We need uniforms for Hogwarts," Marinette speaks up softly, "We're not sure what to get."

"I don't recall seeing you here before but what house sets will you need?"

"We're actually new students," Alya shrugs a bit, "We don't have a house yet."

"Ah, I see," the kind woman grins understandingly before nodding, "Yes, yes. No need to worry. Once you're sorted, your wardrobe will change. Let me get your measurements so your clothes will fit properly. First impressions are very important."

Adrien is completely comfortable with her measurements, probably because he's so used to it as a model. Alya doesn't seem that bothered, going with the flow. Marinette stares in awe as the tools fly around them as if run by someone else who is invisible. Nino gets through his fitting somehow before a pile of clothes are placed in front of each of them.

"There you are, dears," Madam Malkin smiles softly, "Is there anything else?"

They shake their heads before she tells them how much they owe. They quickly pay for their clothing before making their way out.

"Where to next?" Adrien asks curiously before looking around. There's a lot of shops.

"We need school supplies like a cauldron, quills, and stuff," Nino's girlfriend points out before she glances at him, "Oh shoot, I forgot but the magic at Hogwarts prevents technology from working…"

"Wait…" Nino blinks before dread hits hard, "What!?! What about my beats? You know I love them!"

"I'm sure you'll figure something out," Alya grins before giving him a kiss, "Miraculouses exist. Who's to say that there's no way around the magic?"

"Loopholes are incredibly helpful," his best friend nods with a bright smile, "And if anyone can figure it out, it'll be us four, right? We're unstoppable."

"That we are, Kitty," Marinette nods before looking determined, "Let's go."

They quickly get all of their items before making their way out. Luckily, they only have a few bags each, so there's not too much to carry. Nino hears something about needing books but movement catches his eye as he gazes through a nearby window.

"We can have a pet?"

"Yes, but you really shouldn't," Plagg flies up in front of them, careless of potentially being seen. The cat Kwami crosses his arms, "It's a bad idea."

"Don't tell me you're the jealous one now, Plagg," Adrien teases like there's an inside joke somewhere in there, "I think I have my hands full with this one cat anyway."

"Ha ha, very funny, kid," Plagg rolls his eyes before shaking his head, "But that's not what I meant. You four will be busy. You won't have room or time for pets. Besides, most of those animals in there are going to not like you. Especially you."

"Uhhh…why?" Marinette frowns in confusion.

"Because my kid is the embodiment of bad luck," Plagg says like it's obvious, "Black cat and everything. Animals can sense that. Sugar Cube's Bugs usually have much better times with animals because of their good luck, unless they're also the embodiment of bad luck."

"But aren't most animals seen as both, depending on the region?" Alya asks curiously with a raised brow, "Wouldn't that affect whether they are bad or good luck?"

"Most magic doesn't run on beliefs," Tikki joins her other half, "Like how Marinette will be Ladybug regardless if people believe in her or not. Same for all of you. It's why we Kwamis can be seen by anyone yet technology can't detect us. That and we're so old that technology can't comprehend our presence. Throughout history, different symbols have belonged to different entities. The same goes to us."

"Black cats are kind of my thing," Plagg waves a paw, "So they're technically bad luck. Just like ladybugs are Sugar Cube's symbol so they're good luck."

"And since Creation and Destruction are the most powerful and ancient concepts, our symbols are under their categories too," Trixx flies up as Wayzz wiggles in his hat, slipping out to his friends, "Turtles are seen as good luck because of their protection, longevity, and hope. Meanwhile, foxes are bad luck because we're mischievous, cunning, and playful, although we're often seen as good luck too."

"Okay," Nino nods, "No pets then."

🦊🐢🦊🐢🦊🐢

Alya stares at the books in the store. They need to buy some for classes. But she wants to look through some of them. She would appreciate videos more but any info is good. They could always learn more. The reporter inside of her wishes to know more.

All of the Kwamis are hiding once again as they browse for their books. They're already signed up for all their classes when they sent their letters back. Most of them share the same books, but she notices Adrien actually has a different one for something called Arithmancy. The rest of them have Divinition.

"Why are you taking that class?"

"I figured it would be familiar to me," Adrien shrugs before sighing softly, "Physics is my favorite subject and it might be similar to it?"

"Ah, makes sense, bro," Nino nods before poking his best friend's shoulder, "You're really destroying the 'blondes are dumb' stereotypes, you know that? Physics sucks, dude."

"I got physics in the bag," Adrien says confidently before glancing at one of their books and down into Marinette's purse, whispering subtly enough for only them and the Kwamis to hear, "Should I be taking Care of Magical Creatures? Considering what we talked about earlier?"

"Nah, you'll be fine, kid," Plagg says from the bag, "Magical creatures are more intelligent than your average animals, even if they can sense your aura. But to be on the safe side, stick with Pigtails. Her good luck magic will balance out your bad luck."

"What Plagg said," Tikki agrees before explaining, "You don't have to be together all the time for your magic to balance each other out. After all, it is healthy for you both to have your own interests and time away from each other. It's all about moderation and balance."

"Makes sense," Marinette agrees, "Maman and papa have their own hobbies that aren't baking."

"Yeah," Alya nods before shrugging, "All couples benefit from having time away from each other. My papa gardens and maman does yoga."

"Okay," Adrien agrees before they make their way to the counter, buying their books. A book catches Alya's attention at the last second, so she excuses herself quickly.

Creation of Spells: Ultimate Guide to Creating Any Spell

Alya grins before grabbing it up. It's perfect for Marinette's gift. She is creative and is probably going to be good at creating spells. As soon as she holds onto it, the book behind it collapses, roughly the same size and thickness.

Curses, Charms, Jinxes, Healing, Hexes, and More: The Ultimate Guide to All Things Good and Bad

She snorts in amusement. Looks like Creation and Destruction are really a pair. She grabs it up too, knowing it could come in handy for all of them later before she makes her way to pay. She soon joins the others who wait patiently for her. Nino wraps his arms around her as she laughs.

"We were getting worried that you got lost in there, babe," he teases playfully before grinning.

"There were some good titles in there," she defends herself before raising a brow, "So where now?"

"Well, we just need our wands," Marinette smiles before pointing at another building. They go for it, slipping inside to see boxes stacked hazardously around. There doesn't seem to be anyone behind the counter.

"Uhhh…anyone here?" Alya asks curiously before a ladder slides towards them. She can sense her best friend and Sunshine tensing, probably readying for an attack. She doesn't blame them as an old man appears on the device, staring at them in confusion and wonder.

"Yes, I am here," the man says before climbing down the steps and to the counter, looking at each of them in thought, "I am the wand maker of this shop. Ollivander is the name. I don't remember seeing you four in here before so you must be new students and new to the wizarding world."

"How-"

"I have been around for a century, young man," Ollivander chuckles before picking up some random boxes and stepping closer, "I remember every wand I've ever made and who received them, as well as those my father had made. And I believe we have shared company. I would recognize a Miraculous when I see one. Or four in this case."

They stare in shock before gasping and yelping.

"How do you know about that!?!"

"You must know Master Fu," Marinette speaks up after a moment, "Are Miraculouses common among wizards?"

"Hardly," Ollivander reassures them all, "I have only seen a few wizards possess similar jewels. In fact, I once had two students in here who later wore those you wear now. As for Fu, yes, I am a good friend of his. If you are heroes under his tutelage, I must assume your wands will be your faithful companions. Well, your nonliving companions anyway. Your…familiars are already by your side."

"Familiars?" Adrien asks curiously before all of the Kwamis fly out into the open, "Like the animals who teach witches in fantasy worlds?"

"Yes," Ollivander chuckles at their expressions, "But you'll have to ask Fu. He'll be able to tell you more. As for us, we must find you all a wand, yes? I sense that you two will be most difficult to find a connection with. It takes very powerful and characteristic wizards to bond so deeply with the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous. You'll be last. Which of you other two wishes to go first?"

Alya doesn't even hesitate, stepping forward.

"Ah, good," the man nods before tape measures float around and promptly disappear, "Yes, yes. Try this one. Give it a flick."

She takes the wand, waving it. A row of boxes flies out.

"No, not that one," Ollivander frowns before handing her another. She gets similar results before she gets another. As soon as she touches it, she knows something is right. It really reminds her of her flute as music floats around her, a bright orange light appearing. Trixx giggles mischievously before wiggling around.

"It's a great match!"

"Indeed it is," Ollivander nods before holding onto the orange wand, "Sycamore wood with a dragon heart core and fox furs, 14 inches long. The wand of someone who is a learner and hates the mundane. Highly adaptable and efficient."

She grins.

🐢🦊🐢🦊🐢🦊

Nino can't wait to receive his wand. His girlfriend's wand looks so rad! It suits her well with its cylindrical shape and orange-brown patterns that fade to white closer to the tip.

"Now you, young man with the headphones," Nino blinks in surprise, "Don't be so shocked. I've seen children from all backgrounds. I know technology when I see it, even if I don't have any myself. Now try out this one."

He grabs the wand, hesitating to flick it. It's understandable when a glass jar shatters unexpectedly. He hurries to place it before the old man.

"No, not that one," Ollivander shakes his head before fetching another. It doesn't go well either as Wayzz floats out of the way of debris, looking unfazed somehow, "I may be sensing a theme here. Try this one."

Nino knows it's the perfect wand for him as soon as he touches it. Beats fill the air before a bubble-like shield shimmers around him with a slightly green hue. He feels protected and safe as the Turtle Kwami grins. He fist bumps the little dude.

"Awesome!"

"Rowan wood with a unicorn hair and turtle shell core, 12 inches. A great wand of protection and safety. Faithful and dependable, just as its owner."

"Awesome, dude!"

Adrien watches in amazement. Nino's wand fits him, a greenish-brown color with an almost turtle shell pattern along the wand's wood. It's not too thin or too thick.

"Onto you," Ollivander gazes at him before humming some, "I do see a resemblance. Are you perhaps part of the Graham de Vanily family?"

"Yeah, that's my mother's family," Adrien nods before frowning, "Am I that recognizable?"

"Hardly," Ollivander chuckles before waving his concerns away, "I just know one when I see them. Your family lines do look very similar. And not everyone who receives a wand from here will attend Hogwarts."

"You've met my maman?" He asks softly before holding onto his girlfriend's hand, "She got a wand here?"

"Indeed she did," the man nods before searching around for another boxed wand, "When she legally became a wizarding adult at 17, she came here to exchange her old wand for a new one. She had been homeschooled and the wand was passed through generations yet it did not work for them. She was kind enough to understand that the wand would not choose her or her sister."

"Choose?"

"Ah, yes. The wand chooses its master," Ollivander chuckles before picking up a stack of wands and returning to them, "Often like how Kwamis can choose their owners. Those not well-bonded won't be as capable. Same goes for a wand. Now try this one."

He takes a light-colored wand. It's elegant and beautiful and reminds him of his maman. But it's clearly not the right one even though the boxes Alya knocked down earlier fix themselves.

"Is that supposed to happen?" Nino asks curiously before blinking, "Alya and mine broke stuff, not fixed anything."

"It depends on the person and the wand," the older man hums before removing his wand, handing him another. Adrien waves it, watching as something else repairs itself, "While I feel you have potential to fix things, I do not feel it is the right fit for you. Besides, the Miraculous of Destruction will not work as well paired with a person who creates. Much the same can be said of light wands matched with destructive magic. Try this one."

He flicks a dark brown one, getting the same result as a broken lantern pieces itself back together again. He sighs softly as he places it back onto the table, not losing hope. He'd rather try out wands that don't fit him all day over being stuck in his house with no company except Plagg. Hands down.

He tries out wand after wand with similar reactions. Ollivander stays patient, flitting around to get wand after wand. When that doesn't work, the older man hums thoughtfully before telling them he'd be right back.

He's gone for a good few minutes. The only thing that lets them know he's still back there is the occasional crash and other sounds of searching. Adrien shares a confused look with his friends and the Kwamis before Ollivander appears again with a strange box.

"I have a good feeling about this one," he says as he gently pops open the container, exposing a black wand with a wild curvy right side and smooth left side. It's fairly thin with dark green spots along the handle, not unlike his Cataclysm. Adrien takes it with wide eyes, instantly feeling better. He flicks it.

Absolute chaos slams into the room. Everything he previously fixed shatters onto the floor. The windows crack so badly that it's impossible to see through the glass, but it doesn't break. All of the Kwamis shiver except for Plagg who looks pretty proud. A green and black light surrounds him as piano music (in fact, the song his momma and him used to play together all the time) goes off. He thumbs the half of a yin and yang symbol he sees in red wood, a black dot inside the middle.

"An interesting wand indeed," the man nods before picking it up, looking at it at all angles, "Made with not only one, two, or three woods but four. Blackthorn makes up a majority of the wand mixed with cypress and cedar. The red wood is redwood. 13 inches long with a thunderbird tail and the oldest black cat fur cores. A big sign of bad luck, especially since the number 13 is seen as unlucky. But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. One owns their misfortunes, their misfortunes do not own them. A wand of immeasurable power and strength, its owner is an unusually loyal warrior through and through, willing to sacrifice themselves to the cause, whichever or whomever it may be for. Brave and bold and unyielding when confronting the flaws within themselves and others, ally or enemy. Although wizards with cedar wood wands are often kind and just, I would never want to cross their path if their loved ones are threatened. They tend to be the most frightening."

The man pauses, letting Adrien think about the information. It really…does sound like him. He even threatened Lila when she framed Marinette and he would do anything for his friends and Lady, even die (and he has on multiple occasions). And he is loyal, unable to ever truly be mad at his Princess.

"Thunderbird tail cores are extremely rare, especially since they are no longer used in wands, and they tend to enable a wand to spit out their own curses when their owners face danger," Ollivander watches him for a moment, "And as it happens…this was the exact wand Emilie Graham de Vanily traded for her new wand nearly twenty years ago."

They all stare in shock, especially Adrien.

"Talk about a family heirloom," Alya whistles in surprise.

"Dude, bro…" Nino hugs him close, "That is you! He literally told us your personality!"

"I love you, Kitty," Marinette grins at him fondly, "Even if you are a self-sacrificing idiot."

"Anything for my Lady's safety," he smiles back before bowing slightly, hugging her close, "I'm not going to quit."

"I know…" His girlfriend clings to him.

Marinette clings to Adrien. His wand is a perfect match, especially after knowing he is also Chat Noir. He is protective, strong, and brave.

"And now onto you, young gal," Ollivander looks her direction before humming softly, "Try these two wands. If I'm correct with my assumptions, I have the perfect match for you."

She takes both. Waving them destroys some more items around the store, making her wince slightly in apology. The older man doesn't seem mad at all, instead nodding and disappearing for a moment and coming back with another strange box.

Marinette stares in shock as he pulls out a red wand. It's pretty long with mostly smooth, straight edges. The handle has similar designs as Adrien's, but in pink like her Lucky Charms when they form. And in a similar fashion as the blond's wand, her's has a half of a yin and yang symbol. It is black with a red dot.

The exact match to Adrien's.

She holds onto it before shooting her friends a hesitant look. All of them send her reassuring grins back, especially Adrien. She takes a deep breath before her determination grows. Giving it a flick, she notices the effects right away.

The windows repair themselves along with any destroyed items, reminding her of her Miraculous Ladybugs. White and pink light flows over her as Jagged Stone's instrumental music fills the air.

"Simply fascinating," Ollivander says in amazement, holding the wand with a small gleam in his eyes, "Made from four woods too. The main is redwood along with red oak and pine. The black is blackthorn. 16 inches, with a thunderbird tail and oldest ladybug shell cores. This wand is likely the luckiest one out there. Its owner has the admirable ability to land on their feet, to make the right choices, and get through catastrophes. Quick reactions and adaptability is a great concept with this wand, and both are creative forces to be reckoned with. Owners of this type of wand, especially pine, are destined to live long fulfilled lives."

She blinks in surprise. Makes sense. She's pretty lucky but she always attributed that to Tikki's magic. And that does sound like her. She is creative, which often works in her favor but not always. Complex crazy plans are kind of her thing.

"As you heard earlier, you know what a thunderbird tail feather can do. In this case, it may work in reverse. You're magic is creating magic, and the core gives the ability to reverse curses cast," Ollivander chuckles before raising a brow, "How interesting that the bird who gave this feather also is the same who gave another feather to that wand beside you. And also very interesting is the fact that this wand was returned here the exact same day that Emilie Graham de Vanily brought in hers."

Marinette peers at her wand, noticing the strange wavy pattern in the wood. It's barely noticeable unless one really looks at the yin and yang symbol. She stares in shock before borrowing Adrien's wand, sliding it close to hers. It matches up perfectly with hers until it'd probably look like a single wand, despite the size, color, and height difference.

"The concept of yin and yang is within the both of you, and these wands prove it," the older man taps on each symbol, "You, young man, have redwood because you possess some luck with the ability to land on your feet, make good choices, and I can expect exciting things from you. And you, young lady, have blackthorn because you too are a warrior through and through. You two balance each other out well, as do these two wands. Since you share a core, battling together with each other will likely increase your magical abilities, great for teamwork. However, this could potentially backfire if used against each other, which I highly doubt will happen."

She hands Adrien's wand back to him.

"I am quite sure Fu can tell you more," Ollivander nods, "That'll be 7 galleons each."

They pay for their wands before retrieving their supplies and returning back home.
